How can they redirect gov official site for traffic.
Who did it if not hijacked? Would gov do such? And why would they allow their site to be hacked

The https://recruitment.psc.gov.ng as been hijacked by scammers and fraudster. The board is yet to emphasize or inform the public on this unexpected issues as applicant are waiting for the site to be open for online registration.
As of today 11 Dec 2025. The site as now change. So applicant really need to be careful not to fall in the hand of this scammer or fraudster as applicant await directive from official tweet from PSC.

The CDCFIB also advised all shortlisted candidates to ensure they have a stable internet connection and necessary digital devices to take the online test successfully.
“Applicants are to ensure they have a stable internet connection, necessary devices to take the online test, as well as carefully follow the instructions on the examination slip to avoid disqualification,” the board emphasised.
Any form of Exam malpractice would involve in automatic disqualification as proctoring would be use to monitor screen activities.

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that its recruitment portal will officially close on Friday, November 7, 2025, while shortlisted applicants are to prepare for an online test scheduled to hold between Wednesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
In a statement signed by Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) A.M. Jibril, Secretary of the Board, and dated November 4, 2025, the CDCFIB said all recruitment tests will now be conducted exclusively online, marking a departure from the traditional computer-based test (CBT).
“Applicants are to note that the test will be conducted exclusively online. Accordingly, all previously allocated CBT centres are discontinued,” the statement read.

Nigeria Ready to Host Africa's First Commonwealth

Games in 2030-President Tinubu Assures
Nigeria took a significant step towards hosting the 2030 Commonwealth Games, as it welcomed the Commonwealth Sport Bid Evaluation Committee to Abuja on Thursday. President Bola Tinubu, represented by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, formally received the delegation at the Presidential Villa. President Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria's commitment to hosting an inclusive, diverse, and world-class 2030 Commonwealth Games on African soil. Gbajabiamila and a strong federal government team of Ministers and senior government officials held strategic talks with the delegation led by Darren Hall, Director of Games and Assurance at Commonwealth Sport, and a member of the 2030 Evaluation Committee.

President Tinubu emphasised that the Commonwealth champions unity and diversity, and Africa deserves its moment after nearly a century. Africa has never hosted the Games since their inception in 1930. Nigeria made an unsuccessful bid to host the 2014 Games. The city of Durban in South Africa won the bid to host the 2022 Games, but could not do so due to financial difficulties. Birmingham in the UK took over and hosted the Games.
Thus, Nigeria's bid to host the 2030 Games would be historic. In his welcome remarks, Gbajabiamila called on the visitors to savour Nigeria's renowned hospitality: "You're very welcome to Nigeria. I hope you enjoy our great hospitality, which we are known for. Mr President also asked me personally to convey his regards; he fully supports this bid."

He emphasised that Nigeria's bid is not just about hosting but also leaving a legacy for youth and national development. Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, made a strong case for Nigeria over India, stressing that Africa has 21 Commonwealth nations, and Nigeria, as the continent's giant, deserves the honour. "One thing I want to assure you is that the President sees the hosting of the Commonwealth Games in 2030, if we win the bid, as a celebration of the country's growing force in sports, beyond just participation."

Habu Gumel, President of Commonwealth Sport Nigeria, said the country is ready to host an environmentally sustainable Games. Mainasara lllo, Chairman of the Bid Committee, presented Nigeria's proposal, highlighting key plans and innovations. He revealed that Nigeria proposes 15 sports, with football introduced to boost excitement, global visibility, and audience engagement. Darren Hall, Director of Games and Assurance, thanked President Tinubu and the Nigerian team for their warm welcome.
"l have been most thrilled by the passion of the Nigerian people in all their endeavours, including sports."

He said the Commonwealth, now comprising 56 nations, aims for greater diversity as it approaches its 100-year milestone.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammed ldris, Minister of Aviation, Festus Kayamo, Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa and Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Gaidam, attended the meeting and made statements in support of the bid. Nigeria and India are the two official bidders for the 2030 Games, with Abuja and Ahmedabad, in Gujarat, as their proposed host cities.
After thoroughly evaluating both bids, the Commonwealth Games General Assembly will decide the host city in November 2025.

Nigeria president heading back home today.

Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded his work vacation ahead of schedule and will return to Abuja on Tuesday 16, 2025. To resume official duties.

The president departed for France on September 4, 2025, to spend part of his annual holiday and it initially scheduled to divide the period between France and the United Kingdom.

Last week in Paris, President Tinubu held a private luncheon with his French counterpart, President Emmanuel Macron, at the elsee palace. Both leader review key areas of corporation between France and Nigeria and agreed to deepen the partnership for mutual prosperity and global stability.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination continues to reverberate across the United States as investigators work to learn more about the conservative activist’s killing and the 22-year-old Utah man alleged to have carried it out.
The suspect, Tyler Robinson, is slated to appear in state court on Tuesday. He is being held without bail at the Utah County Jail on charges including aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm and obstruction of justice, according to officials.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office told CNN on Sunday that Robinson is being held in a special housing unit and will remain on special watch pending a mental health evaluation, a process that may take several days.

Over the weekend, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox shared more information that investigators had uncovered about Robinson, a third-year student in an electrical apprenticeship program who grew up in the small suburban community of Washington, Utah.
Robinson is not cooperating with authorities, Cox said. Still, investigators have pointed to gaming and “dark internet” culture as potential factors that allegedly radicalized him based on information from family, friends, and acquaintances.
“Clearly, there was a lot of gaming going on, friends that have confirmed that there was kind of that deep, dark internet, Reddit culture and these other dark places of the internet where this person was going deep. You saw that on the casings … the meme-ification that is happening in our society today,” the Republican governor told NBC News, referencing the messages engraved on bullet casings in a rifle found near the deadly shooting.
Those messages included a mix of memes and allusions to video games. They featured a series of arrows representing the controls used to carry out an attack in the video game Helldivers 2 and lyrics of a popular Italian song linked to anti-fascists.

Jud Hoffman, vice president of the social and gaming platform Discord, said in a statement Friday that there were “communications between the suspect’s roommate and a friend after the shooting where the roommate was recounting the contents of a note the suspect had left elsewhere.”
Cox appeared to confirm the existence of a note in the interview with CNN but indicated it was still under review.
“Those are things that are still being processed for accuracy and verification and will be included in charging documents,” Cox said.
He declined to share specific details when pressed by Bash on whether a note was found.

Kirk’s killing reverberates through Washington
The fallout of Kirk’s killing is coursing through Washington, with Republican and Democratic lawmakers worried that violent attacks on political figures could become more common.
