Christianity Etc › Re: Nadine Shares Her Journey From Islam To Christianity by Chienex24(m):
NOETHNICITY:
Even if this were true, it would not change the fact that Islam is the fastest-growing major religion in the world, while Christianity is experiencing significant declines in some parts of the world. Churches are closing down, with some being converted into mosques, nightclubs, and other establishments. Countries that were once predominantly Christian are becoming increasingly secular, while Islam continues to grow within their populations. For example the UK, France, The Netherlands, Estonia, Czech Republic, etc. These broader demographic trends are far more telling than the decision of one individual, who may have little or no genuine understanding of Islam, to leave the religion.
If you are a Christian or even if you are not and you read the book of revelation in the Bible, then what you are saying will not be a surprise to you.The Bible already rightly predicted the persecution of the church, and how the love of God will grow cold at the end of time. So church being closed , people leaving Christianity was already foretold.

Furthermore, a religion that spearheads one man, one wife and being faithful to the end will definitely not be compared in terms of population to another that permits marrying up to 4 wives!!

Heck, inside Christianity, there are denominations which also permits living a consecrated life as clergymen in form of Reverend fathers , nuns, monks, pope, etc, where they decide not to ever get married.

It becomes obvious that with time, one cannot compare the Population of Christianity to other religion, not to talk of the most radicalized religion in the world that spearheads terrorism

CR7 is the greatest of all time.
Pursuing what record at 41?? Even if he leaves the national team now, he can still reach 1000 goals easily as he will now be having more rest for his age!!

He actually doesn't know how successful he is because he is looking at Messi!! He is easily the 2nd most successful footballer of all time considering his stats and achievements!! He should be grateful to God.

Messi is currently more than fit enough to continuing pursuing personal goals, but one must know when it is time to give others a chance!!

There is a reason why western nations did not support Trump.
Can you say how much a bag of rice and other foodstuffs were in 2023 when Tinubu removed fuel subsidy and how much the prices are now?
Have they reduced or not?
Are prices still the same since the USA Iran war?
Oga, everything has been biting harder for the average Nigerians since 2023!! There was a 100% increase plus free fall of the naira against the dollar just from February 2023 to 2024, without commensurate increase in purchasing power of the populace!!
Just one year into Tinubu presidency, Nigerians experienced a 100% increase in prices of goods and services. Banditry worsened, unemployment rate bit harder!! Policies were lopsided!!

Tinubu supporters always looking for escape with their obviously failed government

Iran war started basically on February 2026!!

Tinubu was elected on February 2023.

I love the big cats, but just a quick thought, ever wonder why the dog lineage never got the big ones like their cat counterparts?
*Just thinking out loud*

They actually have big sized dogs, even larger than cheetah or about the sizes of jaguar or leopard. It is basically lions and tigers that are much larger.

And they do have larger wild animals with dog ancestry like bears, including polar bears.

That being said, the dog families are more omnivores than the cat family, reason for their generally average weight compared to the cat family, aside the Bears!!

But that is nature, and like I said, I am just thinking out loud.

Dear Gen-A:
A government does not represent only the people who "elected it." A government represents everyone in whose election process it is involved. So, yes, Tinubu's decisions affect ALL Nigerians, regardless of who voted for him. And if Tinubu goes ahead to support the Gaza terrorists, then all Nigerians must take responsibility for it.

That is why we advise you, APC supporters, to think twice beyond religion for whom you vote for.

And yes, "overthrowing the government, degrading the country's terrorist groups, etc," is the very mercy that the West continues to show terrorist nations that emboldens them. Under normal circumstances, there is no longer supposed to be a country called Afghanistan. It is supposed to be balkanized into very small and tiny states governed by the office of the United States Secretary.

Too much mercy was afforded them. That's why they regrouped.
Same with Gaza. Too much mercy is being afforded them. There is not supposed to be a single standing thing in Gaza after Oct. 7. It should have been a flattened out area with the tunnels left intact for Israeli children to play hide and seek.
Your concept of judgement and mercy is warped!! You must have fallen in love with Hitler!!

Even God in heaven rescued Noah and his household after destroying the world because he was righteous in the sight of God. God rescued Lot and his family from Sodom and Gomorrah. Eventually Jesus died for the sins of many to show mercy!!

Even if you are a Muslim, radical Muslims see other religions as infidels, that is why they attack and kill them. They don't attack their own!!

So I am still wondering how a whole nation should be wiped out because terrorists attacked and killed people during 9/11.

There are 19 states in the north including Abuja. Your concept is the entire north should be wiped out entirely by the Nigerian military because boko haram basically infiltrated every one of them and terrorised the country

It even took too long.
The fact that they are treated the same as a normal person gives them the confidence to do more.

Al-Qaeda carried out 9/11, and America still permitted a country like Afghanistan to exist.
Gazan terrorists carried out an attack on October 7, and Israel still allowed Gaza to exist.
Pakistani terrorists carried out the Indian Hotel attack, and India still allowed Pakistan to exist.

That is what gives them the effrontery. They know that somehow, THEY WILL SURVIVE.

If only America had cleared out Afghanistan,
If only Israel totally removed Gaza from the map,
If only India leveled Karachi,
Then there won't have been a repitition.
Osama bin laden masterminded 9/11 and has been killed, including most of his commanders with AlQaeda shattered!!

The old testament also calls for an eye for an eye and promoted slavery and usury as a means to acquiring slaves.

Same old testament also prompted, promoted, justified and celebrated genocide.

Fyi, the old testament remains old and abrogated by the coming of the new testament.

Citing a bronze age codex among a raiding and warring tribe in today's modern age is null.

So you justifying the unlawful conversion of debt to rationalize child abduction holds no water.

Our constitution is not the bronze age Torah codex .

Our laws are based on Christian values and virtues and no where has it ever been stated that debt can lead to abduction and slavery.
Sorry oga!! Jesus did not come to do away with the old laws, but He came to fulfill them. Read your Bible very well!!

No one is supporting holding a child hostage because of debt!! Many have foregone debt owed by people just to move on!! That doesn't in any case favour borrowers that refused to pay back

Collecting a loan/debt and refusing to payback is really terrible!! Some cases are even emergency help out. Time for payback, one start hearing "is it because of ordinary 50k"?

If you are not sure you will pay back a loan, don't borrow!! Only borrow the the amount you can payback!! Don't put people under unnecessary stress!! They too may have suffered to lend you that amount of money just to help out!!!

Oh, I forgot!! The law in Nigeria is only made for the poor!!!

Oga, I am not supporting what the woman did!! I am only saying that borrowers should always learn or try to pay their debt as much as possible!! If not, then try to reach an agreement with the lender that he/she can accept!! Create a borrowed time, and within that time , pay your debt!!! It is really irritating or frustrating, people owing here and there and going about their normal businesses!!

Why do people like wallowing in ignorance? Someone is stating law and you are rambling. If anyone is being emotional, it's you. No one is contesting that debt taken ought to be paid, but this is not the way to collect it. If I were to represent the mother of that child, the debt would not only be relinquished, but that child abductor would pay a lot of money to the mother or risk prosecution for this serious offence. She committed a crime.
Exactly my point!! Taking the child was wrong like I said earlier and would always repeatedly say, but you are representing the mother because of what the lender did that got to the social media space right? Yes!! So if the lender had been silent all these while, you would never have heard of this case!!

Did she go extreme by taking the child? Yes!!! But you talking bla bla bla is because of you heard of the case!!

In summary, pay your debt or don't collect at all!! It is really that simple!!!

Whatever debt owed that woman be ir from providing services, material goods or a loan facility did not include that innocent baby as collateral.

Secondly, self help even in civil matters like this is wrong and in this case of taking hold of a child that the woman has no lawful custodial rights to us bordering on kidnapping.

I am not however surprised that most of you are defending this woman's actions.

After all , majority of people who ended up as slaves in your pre colonial society became so through debt.

It was normal for someone to collect the child of his debtor to offset his loans .

So I am not surprised one bit that all of you can not comprehend how barbaric and savage this aft by this woman is.
You can be emotional all you want. Even the old testament talks about debts and how it should be paid... A person who owes must repay, and a borrower is a servant to the lender!!

Like I said, taking one's child because of debt is wrong, as well as owing a debt without paying it back!!!

Keep whining and talking about kidnapping, bla bla bla!! Pay your debt either as agreed or over an extended period of an agreed time frame, or don't collect one at all!!
