Hi Debee,
Congratulations!!!
Please how did you upload all these documents you mentioned in your post. I am having difficulty uploading all my documents cos they are a lot but all are important.

Thank you

deebee13:
Good morning house!

It's PPR for me!
July 2022 applicant
Centennial college, Toronto.

Submitted- July 18, 2022
Biometrics- July 28, 2022
Upfront medicals-April 2022
Medicals passed-November 21, 2022
PPR- January 13, 2023

Turns out my PPR was out as at the time I made the statement in quote, but I didn't get to know because I used an agent!

I also don't know when, or if eligibility started or passed. The agent is not the communicating type.

I gave them a whole lot of documents, I don't know exactly which was used, or not.

Bottom line is, IT ENDED IN PRAISE!!!

Thank you to everyone on this page who kept reassuring those waiting, it meant a lot coming on here to celebrate with others and get hopeful for my expectations!

For those still waiting, hold on, be strong, cos what God cannot do does not exist!!!

I am eternally grateful for your detailed response. And thanks for the apologies, its so kind of you.

I will follow your advise and write a convincing LOE.

Frank, you have a big heart and big things in life will never elude you. Remain blessed

Frankrobbn1:
I strongly apologize for the delayed response from me. I had mistakenly skipped your question due to several queries been pasted here with my name in quote. On the other note, thanks for the prayers and best wishes.

Certainly you can apply with your family members (spouse and kids) provided that you've the financial resources to cover for their period of stay in Canada and sufficient ties that would compel your return home after your authorized period of stay. Ties to Nigeria includes - Your aged parents whom aren't accompanying you and requires your constant care and support, rented buildings that yields income to the family, investments in banks, and holding an esteem position (president, vice president, secretary, provost) in any reputable organization in Nigeria etc.

Some of the reasons you could possibly give to justify your intent of travelling with your husband and kids for your studies in Canada can be seen below -

" First and foremost start by mentioning the names of your hubby and children whom are travelling with you to Canada. Explain in the letter that leaving your children in Nigeria will be an emotional burden to you and you may not be able to concentrate on your studies. This is because you don't have capable hands to take care of them in Nigeria. Your mother and mother in-law are in their old age and can't take care of them. Secondly, your husband work will not permit him to take good care of them. You intend to travel with them so that your husband will take care of them, while you're studying and you can also supervise them with any little time you have."

Please refer to GOINGFORWARD DETAILED SUCCESSFUL TRV PROFILE , She secured her study visa last year with her entire household (husband and kids). I trust the list of documents she included along side her application would be useful in your application.

Furthermore, bear in mind that children above 5 years must apply for a study permit before they enter Canada. You don't need to secure an acceptance in any school in Canada for them to be eligible for a study permit. All you are required to do is to search for a childcare close (creche, or primary school) to your University, attach the email conversations between you and the childcare. This would prove to the visa officer that your kids will be enrolled in school and well take care of once they arrive Canada and for this reason wouldn't be an obstacle to your studies.

I hope this information is adequate enough to provide clarity to your questions.

It shall end in praises

If you filled study visa form for your kids the you must have uploaded an acceptance form from their proposed school in Canada. Please how did you get school acceptance letter you used for the application or is there an alternative?

Ymin:
Any child above 5years can start a school and would require a study visa to come while below five is pre school or creche and requires a visiting or travel visa. I actually filled study visa forms for the two of them but at VFS in Lagos we were so advised (Infact they didnt collect the study visa form for the age below five) so we had to fill another form for travel visa (TRV) for the child as against study permit.

Many thanks, HonWise. It is really getting clearer now. Please other big Bros and Sis can also weigh in.

HonWise:
It's advisable to apply alone and use your family as tiers but note that in your SOP you must outline plans on how your kid will be well taken care of and give more information on future plans to finish your MSc, join your kid and family, in bold, don't state in any part of your application that your family will join you in Canada as the VO might sees this as a means to relocate and not to study.

When your application get approved you can apply for them both.

I am not an expert, others can also help with comment.

Hello House,

Congratulations to all who have received visa to travel with their family. This is indeed a winning team and I thank God for directing me to this thread.

I intend to travel with my hubby and son for my MSc in Canada but I have a question as I am about to submit my own study visa application. Can I include my hubby and 6year old son as family tie and then apply for them when I get my own visa? Has anybody done this before? Or must you indicate that they would join you in your study visa application?

Please experts and friends kindly respond to me so I can avoid mistakes in packaging my application.

Hello FrankRobbn1,

I want to appreciate you and all other wonderful contributors for your selfless service on this platform. The blessings allotted for givers shall surely locate you all in Jesus name, Amen.

I have been following this thread quietly reading and learning from other people's experiences. I would love to travel with my Hubby and Son for my studies but I am not sure I have seen anybody who has attempted to travel with family. Do you think it is a possibility at all? Can you give some pointers on the relevant reasons to justify this intent?

Thank you
