Hello guys, I need help and information urgently.
I applied for my Irish study visa on the 4th of April 2022, it's been 11 weeks and no reply from them. I even had to defer my admission to September. Has anyone experienced delay of this magnitude? My sponsor is in the USA, could that be why it is taking so long? I read on their portal that decision is no longer than 8 weeks. What could be the issue?

If you have €7000 edubond, you don't need to have another €7000 in your bank account.

January intake? Are you sure about this? I thought almost all universities in Ireland admit only once (September) a year?
How much do you currently have that you want to save before January?
You will have to pay €11,000 for tuition fee
lodge €7000 for Edubond, then maybe have about €7000 in your bank account as proof of funds for visa application. But honestly, this part where after one has lodged €7000 with Edubond and still present bank statements of €7000 is discouraging me.

The total should be around €25,000 which is above 11 million naira. Accommodation, flight and other things not included. Mmh. Na wa ooo.
