Bosman17: People lack vision… anytime the president visits Lagos… the island is always at a standstill… it’s better to construct a presidential helipad and jetty that allows him access to his destination without using the road… And it's a whooping sum of 4bn? Something he will still kolobi after finishing his tenure!! Building a helipad is very cool honestly but then why this outrageous amount.. Did you also read other stupid things they made budget for? Is that the vision? |

Tzar: The helipad is an excellent idea! The road traffic logjam and resultant financial loses caused by presidential movements in Lagos, makes it very necessary. It is the cost of building one that I struggle with, but as usual nothing good can be done in Nigeria without someone stealing some money! And that's the best thing to do at this point in time? Where they would even borrow to sponsor the budget... You don't have sense |

Politics › Re: Buhari Laid Solid Foundation For Tinubu – Joe Igbokwe by ChinemeremFidel: 4:05pm On Dec 31, 2024 |
treesun: A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe has said former President Muhammadu Buhari laid solid foundation for President Bola Tinubu to build on.
Igbokwe said Nigerians should ignore the claims that Buhari was a failure because his footprints and gains are visible for all to see.
He posted on his Facebook page: “Let nobody living or dead run away with the thinking that PMB is a failure. Perish the thought.
“He laid the solid foundation for PBAT to build on. We are seeing the footprints and the gains today.”
This is coming when former presidential Special Adviser on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu, said Buhari was not a visionary.
Ojudu said Buhari’s lack of vision made him not to back former Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo’s bid to be president.
He, however, described Buhari as a patriot and an incorruptible leader.
https://dailypost.ng/2024/12/31/buhari-laid-solid-foundation-for-tinubu-joe-igbokwe He's right...we can see the foundation jhare... PMB really built a solid foundation for Tinubu to finish Nigeria patapata... |

chatinent: His father has been president of Uganda since 1986 (almost 37 years) in an autocratic regime with no plans to leave govt until death do him and seat apart..that's to say older than most people on this platform.
You can imagine the heart of an African man, and son. But here is the young Tibuhaburwa fantasizing about a girl because he's been overdosed with fantasy seeing her wearing headtie as skirts. You said "Head tie as Skirt" 😂😂 wtf |

[quote author=ysgs post=125381886]. That's what the management told me. And you people don't even take patience to work the benefits out before you finalize. What I heard is that coaching alone daily do fetch like between 1500 to 2k and th toe school management don't interfere. The money belong to the teachers. The teachers will use the school premises, class and chalk free without paying kobo to the school. Calculate the daily coaching monthly before you open mouth.[/quote |

Namaster: DUMB move!
It's this lack of continuity that CRIPPLES a nation. The donations were made to the Ministry. NOT the Minister.
The fact that she was booted out does NOT necessitate the REVERSAL of the donations.
Or have the little CHILDREN hawking on dangerous roads suddenly VANISHED just because she got sacked?
REFUNDING the donations meant to help the kids just because she won't be there to oversee it is not a sign of virtue.
It's the hallmark of STUPIDITY and WICKEDNESS! Watch the full interview...I mean from the beginning to the end not just this clip alone.. If you noticed, when she was sacked, all her subordinates were jumping in jubilation..one said "Na only her know pass" another said "She go chop she no want make another person chop", another said "wicked woman".. This shows that this woman did not allow a lot of corruption to be perpetrated during her time,, and then she was exposing a lot.. remember she had 1-2 interviews prior to her being sacked... The interview where Seun choked her with questions on how she spent a unreasonable amount to fuel her convoy... I am not saying she's entirely clean but then she wasn't bending to some of the atrocities they wanted her to engage in... If they are to list underperforming ministers There were a lot of them 1. Minister of Blue Marine 2. Minister Of Power 3. Minister Of Sports 4. Minister of oil and petroleum resources 5. Minister Of Agriculture But then none of these people were touched.... Something is fishy.. Leave bitterness and think well.. |

cybersoldiers: Uyo is an expensive place and there's no money flow there.
Secondly, if you're not not an Akwaibomite, just watch it because they're too tribalistic there too..
Third, there's high level of cultism there.
4th, the people are leeches and can beg for Africa.....
And many more..... It's better you have good money before moving there, though a lot of people that came into the city with so much money lost their money after investing because there's no good businesses.
Their political elites does not patronize businesses there, rather they go to Lagos or Dubai to buy things. Thank you very very very much,,let me remain in my LAGOS jeje |

Better come to Lagos jeje... To me Lagos is very safe.. Not all places in Lagos are expensive, there are some that are fair but then you still get the basic necessities of life as well...
As for electricity..I mean steady electricity...come to ikorodu, some certain places in ikorodu have steady light..
Like my place now, I stay in an estate, electricity is about 15-20 hours daily except if grid collapse..
Total package for a room self con is around 200k-250k total package for a good place, might not really be sophisticated but very conducive...
As a young man like me, Lagos is the best.. I work from home so I know what I am saying |
