Like I don't really get!! Maybe they hate her or wanted her gone. It is well.. may her soul rest in peace 🕊️. Okpe saying okpeic things. Who am I to correct you? |

If nobi Tinubu lawlessness and PADI Padi leadership, who born Wike, or Commissioners to threaten a governor ? It is the same lawlessness and padi PADI leadership that brought Fubara in. So if he goes out that way, no qualms |

DMerciful: Wike must obey Fubara eventually.
Both Wike and Tinubu will be retired in 2027 If you are waiting for the polls, then you may be disappointed. Because the way Wike them dey plan, Fubara fit no win primaries. Rather, Magnus Abeg sef go win am since he be the same senatorial district as Fubara. They still have Senator Barinada Mpigi one side. Both Fubara and Wike are working for the reelection of Tinubu, so any favour that will bring is struck out. The battle is beyond nairaland and Facebook. |

kpakpakpa: Other governors were in a worst position than him but pull through. One example is Gabriel suswam of Benue state that time, he match the current SGF violence for violence, dollar for dollar, juju for juju and heaven did not fall. Fubara messed up, have you ever seen state assembly members and commissioners disrespect a sitting governor in this country like him before? I just tire for the man. He should take his holiness to Rome. But if he wants to be in office to do what will benefit the RIVERS PEOPLE, they always shout about, let him brace up. |

Wike ehhhhh. I no sure say Sim go survive this. It is clear the president is looking the other way. Allegedly, Wike has the empowerment to control the direction of the election. His men dominate the LGAs. On the day of election, they may hold the governor down on house arrest. Deploy a returning officer that KNOWS WHAT TO DO. He (governor Sim) will remain at home, complaining on channels TV, and see the results declared against him. It will be sad though, but allegedly, that is how he came in. He will understand how Tonye Cole felt then, when state powers are used to thwart election results. He will also understand how other party members felt, when Wike lobbied to make him emerge as the flag bearer then. |

Politics › Re: Can Fubara Truly Defeat Wike In 2027? by chipet67(m): 10:54pm On Dec 30, 2025 |
richmond500: he allowed Wike use the court as he likes. Those lawmakers are gone already but because Wike could use the court as he likes, Rivers had to go thru emergency rule just for Wike to make a coneback You have spoken well though. I was expecting to read the normal jargon we see here as defense. To a large extent, the FCT minister is empowered by the silence of the president. It's just like a case of a spoilt child who knows no matter how you complain on their acts, their parents will do nothing. I think that is the undue privilege the minister gets. Any day the president comes out to condemn the minister, know that is the beginning of the end for the minster. Power supervises power. Authority supervises authority. Sadly, it is what the president wants that to a great extent happens. For me, there are two ways to align with the president. 1. Aggressively deliver the dividends of democracy to your people. Let the love be visible and organic. Let the opposition struggle to get points to campaign against you. That done, the president will send underground people to lure you to his side, or remain where you are and allow things work well for him, since he knows you have the people's heart. 2. Slavish loyalty. Perform less. Sing the praises of the president. Let the mandate song be sung in your home every morning as a ritual. Always remind the world how you are finished without the president. Attribute whatever gains you have to the president's magnanimous nature. That way, he knows he doesn't just have you, he has your brain as well. Sadly, you know the point most Nigeria politicians has chosen. |
