Yes you are safe. Perhaps you need to do a re-registration then since its abt a month now, you registred. And if eventually you aint able to get registered again, just contact them.

So eventually they were later relieved of their appointment, after FG issued much threats and made us all to believe the whole situation was under control.

You've gotten a nice response from all, follow a due process asap and what ever comes out of it, just accept it. Things are not just done any how in standard organizations, I hope this doesn't cost you your job bro.

Those guys are just sick in the head. Lucky you if you registered for the second time and your application was received/successful. All it has been saying is have already applied. Perhaps I should keep waiting for the Acknowledgment mail,its been 2weeks aft application.

Same boat driving us all. I presume its a general issue, of which they are also aware of. Let's just keep checking and be hopeful, other than doing a double registration and still won't get any acknowledgment mail

3days aft application. Applied on tuesday, yet to get the acknowledgment mail.m

Who is fooling who pls? As we speak I don't think any nigerian has gotten a text or even a mail in respect of the exercise. It would have been trending if actually a text or mail had been sent across. He claimed candidates were screened electronically, nothing we no go hear for this nation. The young youths shall all gathered together come June 6

Thousands of Nigerians are quite awaiting the mail confirmation for the next stage, even as we have just 6days left to the much talked about date. It is not all about not having or not having 30k and you wannt to travel, but all about doing things in the approriate ways it should be. This thread way created for a purpose, which it has not been serving. Many of us here are advocacy of things being done in right manners

Great forum but just one unanswered question, which is been asked over and over but our very own immigration officer (Godownchild) and others in the house have been ignoring it. Can anyone pls tell us the duration of getting your nigerian passort when payment is done online? We don't want to approach or patronize anyone at the office, we want to do things rightly and follow the appropriate channel. I don't have 30k nor 27k nor 25k, but I have the exact amount for online payment. How long do I get it when applied? Urgent

The officer isn't wrong, just act as he had instructed/advised. Cadet hiring seems like once in a life time, doesn't come often like that of ranks and file but come when you least expected. Yes you can be upgraded with any higher qualifications obtained before getting enlisted into the force, when promotion is on going. For that of application for diff ranks, i think its usually one after the other but would be done only when such is in place (promotion)s

Days back the IG had to stop the on going promotion of officers with higher educational qualifications as the exercise was characterised by fraud, corruption, and other things.
