How many times do people visit their neighbouring villages where you are from and do they visit in convoys of Mercedes Benz’ and coaster buses?


If this road was connecting to a major city like port harcourt or even a place with a population of 500,000 or even 300,000 people and above I will understand your comment.

But this road is connecting 2 villages with population less than 200,000 and none of these communities have anything attracting visitors, not a stadium, not an international hospital, airport, big multinational company NOTHING.

So you want government to sink money into an 8 lane super highway connecting 2 viallages with a population of 100,000 people each which no one will ever use, even in the picture did you see any car on the road? Did you even see a bicycle or motorcycle on the road?

Go to Google maps now and see if you’ll see any cars on the road in google satelitę images that’s to tell you the low traffic on such roads.


I am not saying roads shouldn’t exist of course they should I believe all communities should have this type of roads leading to closest community to them then as traffic grows the road can be expanded.

Nigerians are narrow minded and don’t understand for themselves that’s the issue here, when you understand why and how then you will know when to ask for what and why. But you guys are good in cramming and passing exam without really understanding that’s why you always ask for things without knowing why or if you even need it.

It’s the reason you ask for president from you Tribe and state as if that will help your state or its people in any way
You ask for super highways and trains from a desert no one lives in to another desert no one visits and then wonder why no one uses your “world class road” And it can’t be maintained.
No one uses a road simply because it is a road or it is smooth, they use the road because they want to visit something or someone or do something somewhere that road leads to.

Roads to Lagos city in Lagos state are more traveled than roads leading to Baro city in Niger state WHY?

Because people want something in Lagos they aren’t visiting Lagos just because the roads leading to Lagos are good. Even if the roads leading to Lagos was bad they’d still use the road and even if the road leading to baro was the best road in all of Africa they still wouldn’t visit baro.

Fun fact: did you know that during the colonial era Baro had a MAJOR inland port it is close to the river Niger and it was used in transporting groundnut and cotton.
It has a railway, it has colonial buildings, it is a good case for this road because it shows that you cannot force people to visit a place simply by building Railway, good roads, good ports etc.
Past administrations but states and federal have tried to revive this city to no avail.
If all that money wasted on those projects: River port, inland port, railway etc that no one uses today was put into places people actually want to live Nigeria would be better off to a small degree today.

No one will visit your village only 4 elderly people live in your village and 2 can no longer walk the other 2 are blind but regardless of that you want your village to have 3 sea ports, 4 airports, 6 hydroelectric dams, 200 fuel stations, 10 lane roads 🤣 only because it is your village.

Why not put these facilities in places people actually reside and visit. The border towns the first places people see when they fly into, drive into, walk into, when they film Nigeria or their experiences in Nigeria.

Build a football club people LOVE then build that club a stadium then build hotels for fans to stay in when they come to see the games live.
as fans number increases with time you also increase the stadium’s capacity. That’s how it should be but
Nigerians will instead build hotels first 🤣 then build a stadium second and then wonder why no one is staying in the hotels or visiting the stadiums and using them when there is nothing to see in the stadium 😆
And then they use the stadium once a year for one religious event and use it once in 4 years for political rally and say it was money well spent 🤡
