Bro, I bet you nobody has any reliable information about DPR on this thread, everyone is just guessing, those with reliable information are not on this thread, because someone knew how the last DPR recruitment process was ran, doesn't mean this particular recruitment will move the same way, things have changed. I've seen situations were people with God fathers don't get a Job and i have also seen where people with Godfathers don't even patake in any of the recruitment process but get their appointment letter delivered to their house.

I would advise everybody here to wait for the next mail from DPR, if you make it for the next stage, you prepare, pray and go for it, if you don't make it to the next stage, brace up and keep trying, there are other better Jobs out there, you wouldn't know where God is taking you too.Dont hope on any man!

My advice to everyone here is these:
Don't let anyone kill your hope, don't let anyone make you feel like if you don't know any Godfather you can't get this Job, don't let anyone discourage you because you didn't click submit, don't let the wait for this Job keep you on standstill, keep moving already.

As for me the next mail will determine the next move as regards to DPR, if not I have moved on already. I'm only here on this thread to catch fun and learn about new opportunities.

My people oooo, but on a serious note though, my post regarding the postponement of our first tranch until after festivity has nothing attached to it o, I just posted what I felt those Youwin guys must have probably had in mind too, even most of us here if we will say the truth, we self at a point don comot mind say the first tranch fit enter this year again until January.... As for me I don't believe its what I said or what anybody says here that will affect our Youwin funds, Youwin Secretariat is an organisation filled with intellectuals and organised people that carry out there activities professionally. We all know all agencies and parastatals are on the verge of balancing there accounts for the year and core activities will begin again next year. But on the contrary if una feel say na me they talk wetin Youwin they hear now esp @bamistol my brother, then make una no vex abeg, but I also wan let una know too say if na me they talk wetin them they hear then una no go see any money for una account, because as a 9ja guy I go tell them make them push every come my account

And I still make bold to declare that with the dwindling economy, undue delay nobody will think of wasteful festive spending of the government grant that is supposed to be used for job creation and business breakthrough. If we consider the mail sent by YouWiN and read between lines, we will realize that they almost quoted Chokomate. Check it below:

"Please be informed that disbursement of Tranche 1 has been temporarily put on hold. The decision to halt the process of payment is to reduce the risk of Awardees’ diverting their YouWiN! funds for the festive season."

I still believe this comment was quoted from posts on this forum. For this reason, we need to guide our utterances on this thread.

And some of those who even claim to be settling quarrel were indirectly taking sides buttressing the point that awardees will truly divert the funds.

Quarrel apart. On a serious note, pls let us watch our post so that we will not implicate our chances.

please we all have our good plans and NOT PLAN TO DIVERT FUNDS and most of our plans have lead time which if missed will drastically affect the business execution negatively.

Again I appeal to the house that in cracking jokes and in serious discussion just note that we are talking to the public where everybody has access to read, INCLUDING YouWiN staff and staff from Ministry of Finance as well as presidency.

My point of anger was 1st the undue delay, then I felt insulted when chokomate jokingly said that some awardees are planning to use some of the YouWiN first tranche to buy white goat and ankara. As far as I am concern my opinion is that anyone whom the government has decided to help breakthrough and to take part in nation building through job creation will NOT plan to divert and waste the fund on festivity. Are they following the person from the village? Even if some evil people are following the person from the village wont he/she pray to God to help send them back.

Now to business: I went to my bank and they told me that the info they got from YouWin last week made them to so much expected the first tranche on Monday and that they also expected throughout this week. They said they are also eager to see awardees starting their biz.

They even said that they are confused at this juncture because both YouWin 1 and 2, none entered another year. in fact that none reach 3rd week in December, that they thought that YouWiN will be improving each year.

I guess you should have seen the latest mail from Youwin by now? Lol, so I think its you that needs to apologise to me now. No money for you until after the festivity, so I am waiting for your apology...

January is worse month to start business and February is the worst because of election. The earlier the money come the better.
Talking of holiday is YouWin a nursery, primary or secondary school that they will start their holiday Friday 19th December as other schools are going on vacation? Despite the unfavorable delay if the 1st tranche still come this week it will still help us to rescue part of the negative situation.
Even those in school business need the money badly this December

Those guys at Zenith Asked me for 50K initial deposit, I refused. I simply asked them the cost of the search fee, which is 6K and the cost of cheque book, which is N1050, I just deposited 7.5K and left.

I have my details now, just waiting for further instructions from Youwin!

As for the presidential lunch, its on 25th of this month and it is also on the Youwin website when you check the arrow carrying dates below, on the right hand side of the page. I think they will send out mails to those qualified maybe a week before or some days before, you know its a sensitive journey because of the security issues happening in Nigeria, so they have to make arrangements to make sure hoodlooms don't penetrate Jonah's tent

Ok sunnylee, just go for the court affidavit tommorow as you intend, that's a good idea since you will have 95%. Keep the document intact and take it along with you on your signing day and explain everything to them okay, I want to believe that its not just you with this kind of complication, by Gods grace the ministry of finance and Youwin secretariat will find a way to handle this issue most deff since its not your fault, it was a basic requirement you had to meet.
The God that brought you this far won't leave you half way, he will surely complete that which he started for us all. Most importantly start fasting from tommorow till your signing day if you haven't started, pray and God will do exceedingly I bet you.

Let me first of all ask some questions on some detaiks you excluded;
Does attaching the proficiency certificate means you guys are automatically partners in your business? Does the CAC certificate reflect your both names on it? Sunnylee I think why they asked you to get that proficiency certificate was just like getting a bank customer with a current account to surety you in the bank when you want to open a savings account and you don't have an ID card, in my opinion I think you where asked to get that document as a form of surety because of the sensitivity in the media or broadcasting industry these days, unless otherwise stated that you and the other party are owners of the business or maybe you are into an agreement with the other party to be your partner because he agreed to help you, if otherwise, I don't think you have a problem using his document as a neccesity to get your business name registered.

Fellow YouWiN! millionaires (YouWiN! 3 Provisional Awardees) I am also a provisional awardee and I want you peoples advices on a point that has been bordering me. Precisely those that will do their validation tomorrow can please help with advice from the experience tomorrow.

THE QUESTION:
In my YouWiN proposal I piut in for a media business and when I wanted to do my CAC registration of business name, they (in CAC) insited that I must provide a proficiency certificate, which I dont have; then they advised me to get someone that has the certificate so that I can attache it and include the persons name and passport in the registration document, which I did before they approved my documents for registration.

From the Legal document that YouWiN! sent us I noticed there that part of the demand for new business is that it MUST be a sole proprietorship, and based on my knowledge of business, sole proprietorship means only 1 person regsitered for a busniess and running the business.

Also, there was a mail that YouWiN! sent sometime ago before they selected winners that partnership is NOT allowed for new business and that any new business found to be in partnership will be disqualified adding that partnership is ONLY permitted for exixting business.

In the light of the above, what is the advice of my fellow nairalanders?
