McOsheBaba: If you are going to Abuja Police Headquarters, I'd advice you not to bargain at all. Just give them the 10k and get your thing done in three days. That seems to be the flat rate for all comers. Sorry if I came off too blunt earlier. Na now u come. Thanks for the heads up |

likeababygirl: I paid 10,000 naira. Submitted on Wednesday and got it on Monday. When you get to police Hq, just ask of the finger print office (forensic). They will Probably say something around 15k but negotiate. Who knows, you might be able to bargain to a lower price. Thanks for the info. Thats all I needed |

McOsheBaba: Continue wasting your time there and be looking for exact amount. I have told you how much I got mine and I won't repeat it. Why not go with two times that amount and get your stuff done. Stop abusing this privilege! I hate people that lose it easily. Just cause u gave me an estimate before and I asked again, na em b say I dey abuse which privilege? If u never wanted to answer again, u should just keep mute and don't act like u are google. U said I should go with like 10,000, another person said 20,000 and another 15,000. So I shouldn't try and clerify and budget myself before going right? Abeg take a chill pill |

Neco result Had 2 yr gap but didn't include it(still a student via Unizik ) Police report Birth certificate Letter of intent Application form Bio data Letter of acceptance Paid for first semester tuition fee nd house rent (showed receipt)
Dad's statement of account. Closing amount 7mil End balance 5 mil (submitted only dad's SOA) He included affidavit Landed property worth 2.8 mil
Submitted may 4th paper route Called for medicals on 19th july Went for the test on 21st July Medicals passed on 24th or so Approved August 2nd Exactly how simple my own application is except I ve not paid tuition. Not including ur whole kindreds land and statements of account. Just 7mil in ur dads account did the job. I believe the more sponsors and properties u submit, the more desperate u look to VO. Just my own observation. Congrats bro. I tap into ur blessing |

McOsheBaba: You can apply for your transcript to be sent to an address in Nigeria, say a dummy employer. The address could be the address of a friend or a relative so that when it arrives, you can pick it up. Simple logic. Yea right |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by choky26(m): 2:51pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
Voltie: You can get your transcript if your school sends by email to institutions. I got mine by mailing a lady involved with admissions in a school in Canada and explaining to her that my school does not send transcripts to students. (I needed to upload my transcript on the admission application). Told her that I would like to send to her mail so she can send it back to me. My school sent to her and she forwarded to me. I ended up not applying to the school again but now I have my transcript. Well my school doesn't send through email. They send a sealed transcript via courier services. And most Canadian schools (if not all) only accept sealed transcript direct from the applicants former school. It was clearly stated on Brandon Uni website. So u can see my case is different |

MrMarc: Just for reference purposes... The VO doesn't know you. All he knows is what you put before him.
And as far as i know...whatever claim you make to them without proof is void especially the finance and employment aspects.
If you can send all this documents talked about here without being asked by the V.O the better for you.
You are judged by the documents presented...do so beyond every doubt.
Finally no one should ever get trv denial for a visa application you don't need a face to face interview. It is as simple as that. Yea u are right. Will do that |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by choky26(m): 1:55pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
likeababygirl: Sometimes this is necessary, for instance, in a situation where you had to specialize during your undergraduate studies and then you wanna proceed to do a masters in the course you specialized in, you need to show the VO that you have taken the courses through your transcript. Sometimes people have reasons for submitting specific documents, every application is different. That's true though. But so long ur cert clearly stated d course u studied and its thesame course u wana major in ur MSc, no need for transcript. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by choky26(m): 1:50pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
Austinpee4: Submitting transcripts is a requirement as per the visa office instructions. Although some people have gotten their study permit approved by showing either their statement of result or the official result(photocopy). However, all past educational documents are required for visa processing. If an applicant have all documents, he/she should do well to submit them. Thankfully, they only require photocopies. Most Nigerian schools say they don't give transcripts to students. That it can only be forwarded to the institution the student intends sending the transcript to. So there's no way I can even get d transcript if I wanted to plus I didnt see anywhere in CIC site that transcript is required for visa except for securing admission. Its just certificates that CIC requires. I stand to be corrected though. |

buggi102kruse: Pls house I need help o! The date of birth I have in my Int passport is different from what I hv in my transcript. And I have tried correcting it but the process, it's almost impossible. Can I summit only my degree certificate to embassy without transcript? Secondly will VOs ask the school for my data to check if what I summited to school and embassy are the same. Please I need advice please please. Why are people submitting their transcript to VO? I thought transcript was only meant to be submitted to the school u are applying to for them to give u admission? Ur degree certificate is enough No need submitting things that are not required for study permit and implicating urself in the process |

jnyuwa02: Okay got ya. I thought you were denied already. God forbid. Please email them your land documents and include all bank statements of sponsors. Not only one bank statement. Wait for CIC. If they want you to pay they would ask you to do. If they ask you to pay, it's a great sign that they want to approve your application. Alright thanks |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by choky26(m): 9:01am On Aug 02, 2017 |
jnyuwa02: Please pay your tuition and reapply for TRV again, including the receipt. It cannot be overemphasized, add landed document and show why it's important to induce your return back to Nigeria. Many include landed documents just for the sake of it and expect the VO to decipher by some telepathic knowledge that they would inherit it. Please explain any landed document not in your name and why you believe it's a factor to make you come back to Nigeria. Getting a visa to Finland is different from getting one to Canada. As far as I am concerned, Canada is becoming the hardest visa to get, getting harder than getting an American visa. Plus it may be long that your brother got a visa to Finland? Things were a lot less stringent in the past. The times they are changing. Everything is becoming more difficult. Good luck. Reaply for trv? But my present application is still being processed
