These planes that are crashing are 99.9% privately owned planes. They’re not commercial airliners.

My point is from international business perspective or any business for that matter equals tariffs on a situation where you’re the one selling more and making more money from the business relationship, equal tariffs is not fair on the other party that sell less

The best the US can do is renegotiate the terms of trade with China to make it balance on both sides

China is in the wrong here if the tariffs from both countries are the same while China’s at the same time is the one selling more to the US. If the trades are equal and balance , then equal tariffs are justified but the trades are not equal in this situation . I hope the US increases the tariffs more

Not every tax on goods will be paid by consumers. It will get to a limit consumers will abandon the product all together and the manufacturers won’t be able to transfer it. Then their manufacturing go bankrupt while other manufacturers would relocate like Apple is moving manufacturing out of china to India now . That’s where china would find itself eventually

In this case, dialogue would be meant for Canada to reduce it’s tariffs on the US or reduce its trade with the US their number one trade destination as Canada is the one enjoying trade surplus which is not fair to the US. There should be trade balance between the two countries which Canada doesn’t want because through their trade surplus the US single handedly subsidizes Canada economy. There’re more active planes in the US sky both commercial and private everyday than any country in the world. So probability of crashes is higher there.

All the planes in the whole of Africa do not reach 10% of planes in the US alone. It’s just mathematical sense.

Also the plane was a privately owned plane. Maintenance is up to the owner to evade crash.
