Unnerve: Many thanks for drawing my attention to this. I will read it. Like Pastor Poju Oyemade said, always ask those who have gone before you or read their story so you will learn. I will take lesson from this to guide my decision 1 Like |

RedPhoenix: This is a dicey area. In African setting, i think the couple tend to take the groom's parent more as their parent. Well, i stand to be corrected. However, as @unnerve mentioned, since the ladies parents have other sons that are capable, i think a little more attention should be given to mine as i am the only one currently capable from my parent's side. This is my rough opinion. What do you think? 1 Like |

RedPhoenix: I think 25k won't do alot on my parent's side. Like you said, i will weigh this decision and ensure it does not have adverse long term impact. |

Hello Everyone I am about proposing to my Fiancee but one thing came to my mind. As a single adult, I have formed a habit of sending my parent specific allowance every month (N50k). Is it ok to continue that when married? I am asking because my wife may say since I am doing that for my parent, why won't we do for hers. BTW, she is working. What's your thoughts please |

Good evening all. I trust we all having pleasant evening and gearing up for different stages of our application. Please I would need to know if a school must wait till the end of their application date before reviewing applications and making decision. I applied to a school for spring and deadline for Int'l application was 30th September and 15th November for US citizens. I'm yet to year from them about decision. Could it be that they have to wait till after 15th November before they get back to me? Thanks for anticipated response. |

Good evening all. Please I need your input inorder to quell my anxiety. I applied to Ohio State for Masters for Spring semester which would commence January 7th 2019. However, am yet to get decision as at today. I need to know if its too late to get decision for spring 2019. Also, if I get decision around mid-november, can I still get I20 and book visa interview before end of December? Thanks for anticipated response |

Literature / A Failed Promise by Chorismate: 11:10am On Apr 10, 2016 |
I wrote this poem the night I saw that I made 4.46 as my final CGPA in School. I came across it on my timeline on facebook this morning. it was a perfect time because I am undergoing difficulty in my relationship A failed promise why did you give me this high hope, why did you give me false hope. You should have left me to thread the path of mediocres all this while; a path in which i'll live my normal gentle and naive life Now, i'm between heaven and earth, none to accept me; i'm an alien to both. How will i bear this shame and heartbreak, of dining with princes few weeks ago and now with swine. Oh had i known, i wouldn't have listened to that spirit. Its now a new beginning, in search of those that i'll call my own. For i have never had true friends, the many i had were there cos i had little success. I'm ready to change and for changes 1 Like |
