The IDF on Friday evening conducted a precise strike on the Central Headquarters of the Hezbollah terror organization, embedded under residential buildings in the heart of the Dahieh in Beirut, the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit said.

“At this time there is no change to the IDF Defensive Guidelines. If any changes will be made, an update will be released on the IDF and Home Front Command's official platforms,” it added.

“Moments ago, the Israel Defense Forces carried out a precise strike on the Central Headquarters of the Hezbollah terror organization - that served as the epicenter of Hezbollah's terror," IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said.

"Hezbollah's central headquarters was intentionally built under residential buildings in the heart of the Dahieh, in Beirut, as part of Hezbollah's strategy of using Lebanese people as human shields. On October 8th, Hezbollah started attacking Israel," he continued.

"After almost a year of Hezbollah firing rockets, missiles, and suicide drones at Israeli civilians, after almost a year of Israel warning the world and telling them that Hezbollah must be stopped, Israel is doing what every sovereign state in the world would do if they had a terror organization that seeks their destruction on their border, taking the necessary action to protect our people so that Israeli families can live in their homes, safely and securely,” said Hagari.

According to reports in Lebanon, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was among the targets of the strike.

Nasrallah's exact fate is unknown at this time, but a senior Hezbollah official told Reuters that the Hezbollah leader is alive.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the strike on the Hezbollah headquarters moments before his speech before the UN General Assembly.

The Prime Minister's Office said that "Prime Minister Netanyahu decided to move up his return to Israel, and will take off from the United States this evening."

The reports in Lebanon said that six buildings were completely destroyed as a result of the Israeli strike. At least 50 people were injured.

The Chief of the General Staff, LTG Herzi Halevi, concluded a situational assessment with the General Staff Forum following the strike on Hezbollah's Central Headquarters and emphasized the IDF's high readiness in both offense and defense across all arenas.

IPOB were engaged in peaceful protests, and they were being targeted and mown down in cold blood by Buharis' Fulani army goons! Ok, they decided to go off the streets and engage in civil disobedience though sit-at-home in order to honour our fallen brethren murdered during the uncivil war! This got the Fulani gov't of Nigeria furious because there didn't seem to be much they could do about that, so they (ie, the evil forces in and around Aso Rock) then resolved to engage in false-flag operations....activating their sleeper-cells domicilled in the south-east to start murdering people in the name of IPOB to try and bring the peaceful reputation of the secessionist org' into disrepute! They went further to create 'factions', AFTER kidnapping Mazi Kanu from Kenya, and this was done in order to give the impression IPOB is 'factionalised'!

My only grouse with IPOB was when they called for another sit-at-home some months ago (the last time they did this) even after realising the civil-disobedience strategy had been hijacked by the evil hegemonic north and their agents in Aso Rock! They've since learnt from their mistake and taken a step back!
