That's one of the wisest thing to do. But on the contrary you want them to be attacked by the herders for taking their business from them?

Hmmm. That’s also true.

Other regions could actually start this business and practice modern ways of doing it.

Politics / Re: Jonathan, Jega, Nwodo Express Divergent Views On Restructuring Nigeria by Chrisakuneme(m): 8:08am On Jan 22
Nonsense. Don't be deceived by this restructuring. It's becoming another political word for scamming us !

Instead of all these Jangbajantis talk, make them tell all state Governors to stop looting. Make them start to dey spend 80-90% of what they getting from Federal government into their respective state. Ya'll will see as everything and everyone will fastly get alright..

We're suppose to start asking our governors what they do with state allocations. Most of them can't even construct durable roads, hospitals, schools yet they're getting money for all. State governors are one of the front evil among Nigeria politicians, yet they do live in peace/get away with it..

Nonsense is blaming your president and leaving una state Governors wey dey loot almost everyday to live in Peace !!

Religion / Re: Pastor Adeboye Buys New Helicopter For Rural Evangelism by Chrisakuneme(m): 2:58pm On Sep 03, 2020
Everything is wrong but only those having insight can decipher the riddle!

Jesus commissioned a global preaching and teaching program, as the founder of the group he told those desperate for material possessions that they're not part of the deal {Luke 18:25} but why? Must his followers suffer all because they want to enter his kingdom?
Well he explains "they have to sell whatever will make others envious of them so that they can live simple none materialistic lifestyle" Luke 18:18-23
The reason for this is Jesus wants everyone to participate in the work he is commissioning so all his followers must walk on foot to the doors of their neighbours, this will make both those who are wealthy and the paupers in their midst to do the work together as equals!
So Jesus laid the foundation for his work, but when you see religious title chiefs who aren't ready to follow the instructions from the founder of the GROUP, know that they're not working for him, but in reality they are working for his enemy!
In what way?
Well let's see how many of those following them will yield to Jesus command to go and PREACH @ the doorsteps of their neighbours when those leading them are going from town to town using jets and helicopters! Matthew 7:20 smiley

Luke 18 verse 18: And a ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

Luke 18 verse 22: When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.

Since we all want eternal life (pastors included), should we all sell our properties and follow Jesus?
Religion / Re: Pastor Adeboye Buys New Helicopter For Rural Evangelism by Chrisakuneme(m): 2:45pm On Sep 03, 2020
Jesus entered Jerusalem riding a donkey. In his days, it was the poor that use donkeys as means of transportation while the rich used horses and chariots.

It is rather sad that most Nigerians pastors are materialistics and do not follow the footsteps of Jesus. I don't need the help of any pastor to serve my God. I would rather give money to the poor and less privileged than pay tithes to these Pharisees called pastors.

Pastors write books and make money from it, they get gifts too from members.

Pastors too give out gift but you want them to come out publicly on TV to announce.

Some churches gave out food stuffs during the Covid to members. They are not obliged to do this but they did it.

Not paying tithe and give to the poor is also a good act.

Akwai-Ibom state has been in the news for good things recently.

Way to go.

Wish more state governors can emulate things like this.

When 10 to 15k can do it Monthly - paid to several other, more traffic filled sites + your own beautifully designed website!!

Exactly. You get my point.

Still your birth certificate was forged, if your dad and step mum can go through the trouble of forging your birth certificate means they are trying very hard for you not to know your bio mum. That means you have to search for her yourself.

Maybe that was your dad’s way of placating your step mum for having a child outside.

There's no trouble in forging birth certificates in Nigeria oo.

Go Shomolu, 10 minutes max, you will get original fake.

The one that pains me most is underage ending every sentence with Dear in a conversation.

Congrats to him. Hardwork pays.

If you are planning of starting your own YouTube channel and your target audience are Nigerians, find other ways to monetize your contents apart from Google AdSense.

AdSense earnings will be very low if most of your audience are Africans.

You could try things like Affiliate marketing, brand mentions or best of all, sell your own products or trainings.

Just imagine what would happen if Mark Angel starts a course on cinematography or YouTube content creation.

My Blog: My blog is my online shop and it is available 24/7 even when I am sleeping. I write an article that I know my audience will search for Google. Once my customer gets to my website, there are marketing pixels that I can use to retarget them, optin forms for them to enter their emails if they want to hear more from me and sometimes a digital product, they can pay for and download instantly.

Convertkit: I use this to send personalised emails to my customers. Not all customers are the same, with this email marketing software, I can send emails to the different segments of customers on my email list.

For example, I can send emails to only customers who have bought a particular item from me before.

Hub spot CRM: I use this to keep my customer's contact details and track the emails I send to them.

Zapier: The maddest of them all. Zapier is the swiss knife of automation. When I save a contact on my phone, Zapier sends the contact details to Hubspot CRM and convertkit.

Google Suite: I use this for my professional email.

Rescue time: I use this to track my time online.

Any.do: I use this to schedule my activities although most times, I end up not following the schedule

Why use email autoresponders to build a list when Telegram Channel can do a better job at no cost.

Today a friend opened my eyes on the possibility of building targeted audience on Telegram Channels.

There are email autoresponders like HubSpot. HubSpot offers one of the most powerful autoresponder capabilities on the market. Others are
GetResponse. ...
Aweber. ...
Klaviyo. ...
Mailchimp. ...
ConvertKit. ...
Autopilot. ...
Constant Contact.

And they are all good marketing tools but here is why I think you should prefer Telegram Channel to Email Autoresponders.

Email Autoresponders has monthly payment plans for the number of audience you have on your list.

Some email autoresponders like Mailchimp doesn't allow affiliate marketing offers.

The open rate and click through rate of email autoresponders are low (45.70% and 34.80%) open rate and Click-through rates, depending on the industry, can range from 1% to almost 5%. Expect a click-through rate of 2.5%, but shoot for at least 4%.

Any mistake can make you lose your account only that you can move your list from one account to another.

Telegram Channels are free and can hold any amount of subscribers at no cost.
The open rate is very high at the average of 70% and above.
(Claim has no proof and evidence)

Telegram is a chat app unlike email, many people don forget their password sef.
Telegram with WhatsApp are among the first app most people open when they got hold of their phones which is why your messages are most likely to have more open rate and click through rate than email autoresponders.

Telegram Channel retain all the messages you drop starting from the first day you create the channel to the day the subscriber subscribed, that means they can go back and read your previous messages.

I can go on and on but this is getting too long.
So build your list on Telegram and believe me you will love it.

PS: This post is open for counter opinion in case you feel otherwise.

You are right to an extent though.

But a Telegram channel can be closed.

I cannot automate with a Telegram channel. With email marketing, I can write down 30 messages and configure them to send out one per day for 30 days.

With email marketing, you can personalize, your audience will feel you are talking to them personally when you call their names. A customer sent me a message thanking me of taking out my time to explain things in details for him.

Telegram is too Noisy. Once you join, you are automatically added to thousands of groups.

I can send automatic follow-up emails when someone tries to buy something on my website and did not complete it but I cannot do that with Telegram or WhatsApp yet.

For me, what works is automation.

I remember a time I ran a conversion advert on Facebook to my WhatsApp, I got over a thousand messages. I could not reply everything.

The more I replied, the more questions my customers asked.

Big brands can't even try WhatsApp or Telegram (except automated), the open rate is cool but they can be time-wasting.

I only use Telegram to send out my latest articles and WhatsApp to update my status with few contents.

The main communication is through email.

Op thanks for this thread.

You are right but the problem is the people that will manage it.
