The problem is that is a terrible idea and for it to work you need the best press resistant ball carrier to pickup the ball from the defence and get it forward to either wide areas or progress it and pass it through the lines. Casemiro is the opposite of such ball carrier. Its the reason he wants Frenkie so much.

you're right. My point is about his tactics, where most of the players go forward includng CM which suits McTom well, instead of transitioning forward as a team. One of the major issues of this is lack of passing options.
