Big strikers take big chances. Lukaku has had lots of them. Fair enough that was just one against Leicester but he's missed quite a few big ones in many games that I would take Kane to score most of. I think the main point is Kane is a better strikers by quite some way.

To be honest, our current squad lacks the capability to compete on a level ground for trophies. We have a team still finding its stride. The transfer market is crazy now to top it all of. To get the very best, you have to spend ludicrously.

We are left with two choices: Buy a squad of lethal mercenaries...or grow your own. The first choice is perhaps the easier and less sustainable of the two.

Purchasing known world class players like Antoine Griezmann, Harry Kane, Toni Kroos is impractical. We are not a sugar-daddy club and will only purchase incrementally.

Personally, It hurts to see City topping the league. If we want instant success, we have to be ready to splurge like City did.

I'd rather see our squad grow organically and mature into world beaters.

A stable base of players like the class of 92' is still the dream at the core of every United fan.

Malcom is a very welcome signing. Anything to stop giving our opponents joy down the right wing is welcome by me. We are United. We have a long history of pinning our strategy on wing play. Martial and Malcom on the wings with Pogba just behind and Matic for cover is every team's dream.

I always saw the limitations in Herrera's game but for the sake of banter, I always argued he was as good as Kante...And to be honest, he wasn't a bit better last season.

What do you think about this? You are always the first to criticize Jones, and you think he is not intelligent. Built and looks do not tell about intelligence jor.

I actually saw him giving instructions after he spoke with Smalling. He also dealt with the long balls until that one that led to the goal went too far from him even if he had to count steps towards it.

When we were advocating for perisic to join the team others were yarning dust about his age and what have you! Experience mixed with youth has always been the foundation for all our success at united! Apart from martial Our wingers are mostly just senseless! Never picking the right pass, can't really cross, they don't penetrate, can't link up play with speed and are not really great dribblers or scorers! Turan should be loaned from barca as a stop gap! He is wasting on their bench! Anyway jose has given everyone a chance so their will be no bogus claims of witch hunting as from january or summer when he wields his axe! I'm glad to hear that ryan sessegnon may be a £25m signing with Luke shaw to make way somewhere else! Even central defence may need some upgrades...I really hope this is smallings last year at united too!

It is baillys absence that has caused Phil jones to start to regress. Baily usually communicates to him and gives him solid ideas but that dunce called smalling is the polar opposite...he always injects panic into any of his partners....even when that guy was trying to pass to vardy why not even try a tackle? He was just staring at the ball and shaking like one jellyfish till vardy collected the pass! Smfh!

That was in the last few minutes when Leicester decided they had nothing to lose but to go all out to get the equalizer or lose 1-3. At that point we had more to lose, they didn't see any difference between losing 2-1 or 3-1. Perhaps, Mourinho anticipated it, and wanted to punish them with pace - Rashford and Mkhitaryan.

On point, Smalling is just a sissy, look at Wilshere who was fond of forming injury until Wenger toughened up and was about to send him out of the club to just about any team, isn't Wilshere playing his heart now? Smalling is mentally weak and lazy like most English players, I mean just stretch yourself for about 2 min but no, the dude was out of the pitch at one point...
I was so upset yesterday, how do you play in a very good pitch with proper officiating and still get injured at every slight instance when people play in erosion ravaged pitch here where two footed tackle is the norm and the only way your folks will liken you to Maldini/Nesta (Wonder where they saw Maldini and Nesta going in two footed, lol) and never get injured...

Rashford for one has to get back to the basics and put in extra work on the training field and the video room. His touch is not good and his decision making is actually getting worse.
Martial's problem is just mentality and work rate., he needs to hit the gym on a regular.
If the manager can't develop you then you better develop yourself. SAF recently said he was not responsible for Ronaldo's incredible work ethic and improvement at United, the guy did it almost independently.
