We lacked inventiveness on Citeh's half, our game lacked urgency and these are owing to the fact that the duo of Toure and Fernandinho were doing a good job in front of their back line. They were serving as the defensive aegis of City's back four, snuffing out dangers and ensuring we ran out of thoughts each time we attacked.

Now compare that to what Mikel and Cesc were doing on our half. The trio of Navas, Nasri and KDB were having a field day, creating havoc upon havoc.
