To the guy who suggest I sell this idea , this idea is priceless if it turns out to be a success. $2billion every 6hours depending on my terms is ccertainly not something I would sell. I'll rather die with it. Well to the other folks , that's why I'm creating awareness here and other forums to see if I can get viable info on how I can get an investor for it . I'm currently raising money bit by bit and if I get my target Sum, I wouldn't need no body anymore. Thanks guys for your suggestions

Sebastine1994:
God Almighty for the great
ideas He has blessed man
with.
I have a dream that very soon
Nigeria will be transformed, I
have a dream that the ideas to
transform Nigeria is here with
us, I have a dream that the
youth have the capacity to
transform Nigeria. I believe in
the youth of this nation, from
the speech of the CBN
governor on youth and
transformation, the governor
revealed that the
transformation of Nigeria is in
the hands of the youth that
God gave this great nation,
this is attainable and reachable
through crowd funding.
The youth can create more
entrepreneurs leading to
more companies and more
employment. Have you ever
imagine if 1,000,000 youth
out of over 65,000,000 put
resources together and form
mega industries that will give
birth to other companies? For
the short time I have been on
Nairaland I have come across
a lot of God-given wonderful
ideas from Nigerian youth but
one major factor is lacking
which is trust, there is a
saying that the people you do
not trust cannot trust you.
If we believe in God and trust
ourselves the youth can
achieve a lot with their
resources. If 1,000,000
trustworthy and sincere youth
invest just N100 only through
crowd funding, believe me in
short time we will have
industries in Nigeria to employ
youth, we have the population
to make these industries
grow, entertainment industry
will experience biggest boom.
I love virgin ideas when he
mentioned WiFi in Universities,
if we have this uncommon
investment of N100 put
together by 1,000,000 youth,
we will install WiFi hotspot in all
the federal polytechnics and
universities manage by youth.
N100 is a very small amount
even if you decide to put into
fixed account for 5 years @
20% interest which you and I
know that no bank in Nigeria
will give such interest even if
you are ready to fixed
10,000,000 for 5 years. Please
the gurus in the house help
me compute N100 fixed for 5
years at 20% my result is
N248.832k. Imagine what you
and I will reap as profit from 1
billion naira investment for 5
years if the fund is well
managed, believe me it is a
transformation for life, every
Nigeria bank will be lobbying
for the fund to be deposited
in their bank.
From history, I read that
people of the world decided
to build a tower(Babel) from
earth to heaven, they came
together and agreed, they had
one mind, one purpose one
vision and one mission to
build to heaven, they started
and continue to build and it
got to certain stage the God
Almighty discovered that the
people are determined and
achieving the aim so he used
His supremacy to disorganize
them, that is power of crowd
with uniformity and vision.
N100 cannot yield much for
you in 5 years but can bring
forever profit if put together
by 1,000,000 people in less
than one year. Let us build a
mega investment that will last
for long term that our children
children will benefit from.
Please look into the future of
this crowd funding, what do
you see? I see mega
industries like
Telecommunication, I see
Refineries,I see Cement
factories, I see sugar factories
etc for Nigerians, I see the
biggest investments in Africa,
I see investment and financial
liberation revolution that will
catapult youth, young
entrepreneurs and Nigerians
from mediocrity into unending
life of surplus and overflow
success that Nigeria and
Nigerians can never recover
from if trust, sincerity are
embraced while corruption
and capitalism are
discouraged among youth and
young entrepreneurs.
wow bro you've spoken well and you gave a very strong point which is youth establishing companies by simple crowd funding of N100 which is very achievable in a week if youths come together as one . You also made a good point by highlighting the fact that the job is in our hands to forge the future for ourselves and turn the fortune of this nation already which is a point I really like also and I think a lot of youths would buy into this idea . What I want to ask is how do we gather crowd and relate this idea to them , 2) how do we get them to not think you want to use people and become rich for yourself and abandon this stuff ,3) how do we create representatives that would deliver this said goals . Bro I'm down with this and I would like to discuss with you on how we can start this process .

Career / Re: Can I Share My Idea With My Employer? by chrissy3(m): 3:32pm On Mar 16, 2017
Yteflon:
I have an idea of a viable online web platform business and i currently work for an online magazine website . i have a good relationship with my boss who is the owner of the company. I am skeptical of what will happen if i inform him of my idea. I don't know if it will still be my idea or the company's. I am a final year student so i don't have the money but i have the skills to start up. Should i wait till i have the money or look for other ways to raise money instead of giving my idea out.
Abi. what relationship will exist between me and my boss if i tell him my idea? Is it partnership or employer/employee?
Please people with experience should enlighten me
Firstly the moment you share your idea , you've lost your bargaining chip that gives you power and you boss would use his money to carry out your idea and he can screw you over by not giving you a dime . Secondly bro Idea's rule the world and for a student who is coming out to a labour market like Nigeria , you've got to hold on to your idea's cause it can help your defeat poverty cause you never know how big it can become . Thirdly Your boss is already made but you've not even started so.... I advice you find a way to use your idea so you can become a boss also someday.
What I would suggest is that since you don't have funding to impliment your idea , I suggest you have a written contract agreement and you state the terms of the partnership before you tell him so that he won't be able to screw you over and you still exercise more right over your idea. Ideas are priceless so you must guard it with your life

thanks bro . I believe Africa would be pulled out from this hell on earth living standards we face . I've tried to get venture funding of 1.5m naira but no businessman is willing to try out my idea because it has a 50/50 chance of working and they can't risk it but you see them buy a house for a mistress and I ask myself if its a curse to this continent that to find one optimistic minded individual is like finding a moon rock. Well I'm just a graduate engineer without any track record and prior experience so I guess no one would take me seriously in this part of the world .

I was thinking about colonialism and slave trade today and I felt we actually deserved them.

Who was selling the slaves to the white man? Were they not your Grandfathers and gullible kings of those days who had slaves themselves.

Who invented the toothbrush and toothpaste you used this morning. Your grandfathers were using sticks and woods to brush before now.

We were dying of diseases and small pox and your grandfathers said it was a curse from the gods. Not only did the white man find a cure but they also developed vaccines for the whole world, including for blacks.

Malaria used to be a killer disease in Europe but they have solved that problem centuries ago. Centuries later, Malaria is still killing millions of our black children and instead of finding a solution, We are still waiting for the white man.

HOW MANY PROBLEMS HAVE WE SOLVED AS BLACK PEOPLE, HOW MANY THINGS HAVE WE INVENTED?

EVEN THOUGH ANCIENT CIVILISATION of EGYPT was IN AFRICA, THEY WERE NOT BLACKS! #Fact

Look at electricity. A black man could not even discover that but a white man did.

Look and the mobile phones, microwave, TV, radio, automobiles and so on.

Is it not rational to say based on achievements of the human race, the black race is a dumb race?

The Democracy we are practising, the white man even invented it for us yet our democratic leaders are still behaving like animals and proving to the world that a black man reasons like an animal.

Imagine someone who will die one day digging graves to bury billions of naira meant for the masses ; is that not madness or animalistic?

Look at our leaders, they think they are smart by embezzling our collective money but unknowingly to them they are being seen by their counterparts in developed world has animals and fools.

My summary is just that based on the achievements of humanity so far, the black race is still acting dumb and inferior (both leaders and followers) and we deserved the colonization and slave trade that we suffered due to the stupidity of your grandfathers and gullible kings.

Funny enough, up till today, blacks are still being used as modern slaves in Europe and we are still under cultural, financial, religious, cooperate and industrial colonisation even in our homeland AFRICA.

We will only get get better when we see ourselves for who we are and strife to improve and achieve, but until then, we remain an inferior and exploited race.

Culled from Coates Nigerian Journal - Feb 2017.
All you've said is true considering the points you have given but I know for certain that there's a new awakening going on and blacks have started striving which hopefully would turn things around .
I'm using myself as an example . I have been working on a theoritical machine that in the standard science community , its seen as an almost impossible feat to achieve but from my research work I found out there's a material naturally occurring in nature that promises continous work no matter the weather condition and this machine hopefully would solve the problem of energy all over the earth. I've been working on this machine for the last 6years and I'm on the final stage of building and testing the prototype before I patent and release if its a successs.
What I'm trying to say is , if I can strive to break boundaries by trying to invent something , only God knows how many of me are out there working on different things .My point is I think Africa is begining to detach itself from primitive beliefs and positioning itself on the research based world . Its unfortunate the worn out low IQ leaders who kill the progress of this continent still exist and that's why things won't really hit full throttle just yet.
I pray I'm successful with my machine and if I am, I would open a tech company just like tesla , faraday future etc and I intend calling it Gauss evolution . My only greatest problem right now is funding the building of my prototype machine which has been one of the greatest problems to the few like me but I've sworn to see this research to the end and I would work hard to raise money and fund it. Even if I fail atleast I'm an example of some one who strived , worked and executed something as a black man and sooner or later someone would do thesame and succeed in whatever of which I believe would be an example for a lot of folks on this continent to follow. By God's grace I would be an example that would kick start the minds of we blacks to believe we can achieve anything we so desire.
The past was our mediocrity but I believe the future we would rise to the throne of glory . Ps for you to reason and bring this journal out , you're tired of mediocrity and you want to change which right there my friend is the turning point . Cheers
Business / Re: Best Engineering And Construction Small Business Ideas by chrissy3(m): 10:35am On Mar 16, 2017
cruxifixo:
Dear friends, for those in the Engineering and Construction industry and those who have experience in the industry, what are your top 5 small business ideas you can recommend in Nigeria for someone with the financial resources of around 10-15 million naira.

Your input will be highly appreciated.
If you ask me I would suggest you open a firm that's into (production ) e.g soups ,detergent, paints ,palm oil production etc. Your business should be production based so you would be able to manipulate quantity based on demand so you won't lose unlike buying and selling of engineering materials that demand can drop to a point that your business would halt. I plan on opening a tech firm and I've been working on my prototype engine that won't really require energy source from outside cause it replenishes itself and takes longer like a century to lose 5% of its ability. Been on it for the past 6years and I'm on the building and test phase now. I intend opening a tech firm just like tesla, faraday future suzlon etc mine would be called Gaus evolution but first I would need a tech product that's basically none existent for to climb up the ladder really quick .
What am trying to say is , dedicate your time and think of something you can produce that people need badly for their lives to be normal . You can do any of the once I suggested above or you can start up a firm that sells solar panels and inverter but here's the trick , the customer doesn't have to pay at once and he/she can pay you installmentally for like 6months but the person would be using it . That way the bulk cost that discourages people from buying would be overcome and highlight the fact that almost everyone spend money each day to run generators so what happens is the money that's suppose to be spent on fuel would be channeled to paying for your product over months. Bottom line is , hit the most dependent part of peoples lives and exploit it .
EE is the direction of the world so I suggest you hit that part.

meaning what? I don't know what you are implying but that's probably the difference between you and me. Football fans are so fickle nowadays. FOOTBALL DOES NOT BEGIN AND END WITH GOALS. why do you people keep talking about 'check how many goals he scored, this and that'. Its embarrassing to hear so called football fans talk like this. I tell you solemnly barca still hasn't seen the Luis Suarez form that made them buy him from Liverpool. Forget the goals that messi and co were giving him on a platter. Suarez played his best football in life at Liverpool.
You said only messi and ronaldo have scored that much goals that's y I said you should check suarez .Is it not obvious how suarez goal scoring doubled immediately he stepped foot in spain ? Bottom line is Spanish league defenses are a bonus to ronaldo and messi and both players won't score those numbers if they were in england but unfortunately no one can confirm.
Sports / Re: Guardiola Regrets Starting Iheanacho Against Burnley by chrissy3(m): 7:30am On Jan 05, 2017
ddippset:
the irony of it all is that only messi and ronaldo have had those kinds of goal records even in spain. there are so many other strikers who played in spain and england and they had the same numbers of goals at both places. maybe barca and Madrid have had too much quality over the years to support messi and ronaldo. but seriously if messi comes to the EPL with his barca team that gave him 50 goals a season and ronaldo comes to the EPL with the same exact madrid team that gave him 48 goals in a season, they would both score same. truth is that the world has never had players who scored more goals than messi and ronaldo.
CHECK how many goals suarez scored last season

1. costa left after his 1st prolific season at their clubs. Falcao was the man behind the giant duo by 2011 and 2012....costa was mostly on loan btw 2006 and 2012...google it.....
downplaying EPL? U guys are over hyping it like la liga boys don't do well in it and if Messi came it will be no go area like others not even close to him ain't striving

2. personal beef? Pep issue has always been yaya's agent....Yaya player well in barca and played the final and semi-final as CB with busquet as DM....yaya is better no doubt but just like carrick, busquet plays a simple and effective game that allows xavi and co do the magic without getting involved...yaya sometimes wanna break d odds and when counter happens, he has no pace 2 deal....sometimes he holds d ball too much....we as africans always turn a blind eye to this fact...muscle doesn't always win...a player like kante wld collect d ball without thinking.
go google am....even mascherano cldnt play barca game....he lost confidence b4 pep converted him 2 CB and dat was d match against arsenal with busquet playing CB and mascherano running 2 block bendtner goal...google it
btw busquet won WC and Euro12 as an undisputed starter with alonso getting subbed in almost all WC games except the 1st when Busquet was subbed.....he kept out even javi martinez at his finest
3. coutinho played in espanyol 2012 and went 2 liverpool 2013....ur point again?
4...navas played some dope games during pellegrini days and we all knw he aint a goal scorer
is pedro not doing same now?
...I love EPL games but I hate pplr downplaying la liga or saying some bullshit abt messi not gonna adapt.....small silva and mata actually did great and messi in epl wld provide more passes than goals.....we stil hv de gea, courtois, even valdes nobody gave a chance.....ballerin no even near 1st team in la liga......good players adapt
like I stated he was on loan to espanyol at the age of 19 bt he was an inter player and you said costa wasn't among top 5 strikers and aguero that's why I gave you proof and by the way since when is it that you must score more than one season to be among the top 5 .Now let me ask if let's say hazard wins world best ,is he not number one on the list at that time? Costa and aguero at that time where among top 5 strikers plus falcao had already left in costa's last season .please don't downplay those players achieve cause you don't like epl. Plus please name the strikers that were top 5 in the list that aguero and costa didn't make.I can tell you confidently you can't count the strikers that are better at that time. When you know the truth say it.

Not fancying buying big or expensive players doesn't mean that he had low budget. Do u know that Man united never bought one expensive player last season but there were like three players in Man United earning around £200k per week?
Top teams surely would always have big budgets cause the players must be payed something worthy of their level. When I mean budget in my case ,I'm talking about ferguson bringing out hefty sums just to buy big players. It was never Fergies style.
Sports / Re: Guardiola Regrets Starting Iheanacho Against Burnley by chrissy3(m): 2:09pm On Jan 04, 2017

This is the same with other clubs in Europe. They started earning small and then began earning big. Compare it with what other players were earning in other clubs then u realise the players were earning high. We all know Madrid and Milan paid far higher than other clubs then but fact is that other players still earned high without earning as much as Madrid and Milan players were earning. My point is that Ferguson had higher budget then than other premier league clubs coaches aside Liverpool coaches, but u can say it was lower than Madrid and Milan coaches.
but you do know ferguson hardly ever buys big players. He boys big players on rare occassion when he knows he doesn't have time to groom someone to perfect fit his plans .
