Literature/Writing AdsThe Importance Of Professional Biography Writing by christscribe(op): 9:59am On Jul 11
Every person has a story. Some stories are filled with sacrifice. Others are marked by remarkable achievements, difficult struggles, life-changing decisions, and lessons learned over decades.

Yet most stories are never documented. When people pass away, their memories often disappear with them. Family histories become fragmented. Important lessons are forgotten. Future generations lose access to the experiences that shaped their family, community, or organization.

This is why professional biography writing services have become increasingly important.

People do not hire biography writers simply because they want a book. They hire biography writers because they want to preserve something far more valuable—their legacy.

Whether you are a business leader, entrepreneur, public figure, clergy member, retired professional, community leader, or family patriarch, understanding the deeper motivations behind biography writing can help you appreciate why documenting your life story matters.

What Is a Professional Biography Writing Service?

A professional biography writing service helps individuals transform their life experiences, memories, achievements, and personal stories into a professionally written book. Professional biography writers and ghostwriters conduct interviews, research historical events, organize memories, verify facts, and craft compelling narratives that preserve a person's life journey.

Unlike an autobiography, where the individual writes the book themselves, a biography writer does the heavy lifting while preserving the client's voice, personality, and experiences. This allows busy professionals, elderly individuals, and public figures to document their stories without the stress of writing an entire manuscript.

The Growing Demand for Biography Writers

The demand for biography writers, autobiography writers, family historians, and ghostwriters continues to grow across Nigeria, Africa, and globally.

Why? Because people are increasingly realizing that wealth, property, awards, and certificates tell only part of the story.
Future generations need context. They need to understand:

• How the family was built
• The sacrifices that created opportunities
• The values that guided important decisions
• The lessons learned from failure and success
• The history that shaped their identity

A biography captures these elements in a way that photographs and documents cannot.

The Real Reasons People Hire Biography Writers

1. Fear of Being Forgotten

One of the strongest motivations behind biography writing is the fear of being forgotten. Many individuals reach a stage in life where they begin asking important questions:

"What will people remember about me?"
"What will happen to my story after I am gone?"

A professionally written biography ensures that a person's life experiences remain accessible to future generations. For many people, this is not about ego. It is about significance. They want their story to continue inspiring others long after they are gone.

2. Preserving Family History

Family history is fragile. Entire family narratives can disappear within a single generation if they are not properly documented.
Many successful families possess remarkable stories about migration, entrepreneurship, education, leadership, faith, resilience, and sacrifice.
Unfortunately, these stories are often passed down orally.

Over time, details become distorted or forgotten altogether. A family biography preserves this history permanently. This is one reason why family biography writing services have become increasingly popular among families seeking to preserve their heritage.

3. Capturing Life Lessons for Future Generations

Every life contains valuable lessons. Some lessons were learned through business success. Others came through failure, adversity, loss, leadership, parenting, ministry, or personal growth. Many clients hire biography writers because they want their children, grandchildren, and future generations to benefit from these experiences.

A biography becomes more than a personal story. It becomes a guidebook for future generations.

4. Preserving the Story Behind Success

People often see success without understanding the journey behind it. They see the company. They see the title. They see the influence. But they rarely see the years of sacrifice, rejection, hardship, and perseverance that made success possible. Many entrepreneurs, executives, politicians, clergy members, and public figures hire ghostwriters because they want to document the story behind the achievements.
The journey is often more valuable than the destination.

5. Leaving a Legacy

Legacy is one of the most powerful emotional drivers behind biography writing. A legacy is not simply what you leave behind financially.
It is what you leave behind intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and culturally. A professionally written biography allows individuals to preserve:

• Personal values
• Leadership principles
• Family traditions
• Faith journeys
• Business philosophies
• Life experiences

This creates a lasting impact that extends beyond one's lifetime.

6. Regret Over Lost Family Stories

Many biography clients share a common regret.
They never documented the stories of their parents, grandparents, or mentors before it was too late. They remember hearing incredible stories growing up. But now those storytellers are gone. The details are fading. This regret often motivates people to preserve their own stories while they still can.

7. Lack of Time to Write

Many successful individuals have wanted to write a book for years. The challenge is not desire. The challenge is time.
Business leaders, executives, pastors, professionals, and public figures often struggle to find hundreds of hours required to write a manuscript. A professional ghostwriter solves this problem by handling the writing process while the client focuses on sharing their experiences.

8. Difficulty Organizing Memories

Most people have decades of memories. They know their story. They simply do not know how to structure it.
Professional biography writers help organize scattered memories into a compelling narrative that readers can follow and enjoy.

9. Building Personal Authority and Thought Leadership

Many professionals use biography books to strengthen their personal brand. A well-written biography can establish authority in:
• Business
• Politics
• Leadership
• Ministry
• Education
• Entrepreneurship

This makes biography writing an effective tool for thought leadership and influence.

10. Creating a Lasting Family Treasure

Unlike social media posts, speeches, or newspaper articles, a biography creates a permanent family asset. Future generations can revisit the book decades later. Children can share it with their children. Families can preserve their heritage in a tangible form.

Why Professional Biography Writing Matters More Than Ever

We live in an age of digital content. People share thousands of photos and videos. Yet very few people intentionally preserve their life story.
Ironically, we may become the most documented generation in history while simultaneously becoming the least understood. Photos show what happened. A biography explains why it mattered. That distinction makes all the difference.

Choosing the Right Biography Writer

When selecting a biography writer or ghostwriting service, consider the following:

• Experience in biography writing
• Interview and research capabilities
• Ability to capture your voice
• Confidentiality and professionalism
• Editorial quality
• Publishing support

The best biography writers do more than write. They listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and uncover stories that even clients have forgotten.

Your Story Deserves to Be Preserved

Every life contains moments worth remembering. Every family contains stories worth preserving. Every leader possesses lessons worth sharing. The question is not whether your story matters. The question is whether it will still be available fifty years from now.
A professionally written biography ensures that your experiences, wisdom, values, and legacy remain accessible for generations to come.

Because some stories deserve more than memories. They deserve preservation. And some lives deserve more than silence. They deserve a book.

Nigeria's Premier Biography Writing Company

Every life contains a story worth telling. The question is: who will tell it, and how well? At The Scribes Media, we believe that the stories of remarkable Africans, their struggles, their triumphs, their wisdom  deserve to be written with craft, preserved with integrity, and shared with the world.

We are Nigeria's leading biography writing company and ghostwriting firm, with over a decade of experience crafting memoirs, autobiographies, corporate biographies, and family legacy books for clients across West Africa and the diaspora. We do not simply record what happened, we shape your narrative into a compelling, publishable book that will endure long after you are gone.

Whether you are a senior pastor documenting your ministry journey, a politician preserving your public service record, a business leader leaving a leadership legacy, or a family protecting the memory of a beloved patriarch or matriarch — The Scribes Media is the professional ghostwriting partner you need,  serving families, public figures, clergy, politicians, and business leaders since 2014.

Who Hires The Scribes Media?

Our clients come from every walk of life. We have written biographies and memoirs for:

Public figures
— politicians, traditional rulers, and community leaders who want their contributions documented
Senior pastors and religious leaders
— preserving testimonies, ministry histories, and spiritual legacies
Business executives and entrepreneurs — capturing leadership philosophy, career milestones, and corporate histories
High-net-worth families
— creating private family legacy books for future generations
Aging parents whose children want their stories captured before time erases them
Professionals, academics, and activists
— anyone with a story that deserves a wider audience

You do not need to be a celebrity to deserve a biography. Every life has depth. Every story has an audience. What you need is a professional who knows how to find it, shape it, and write it beautifully.

Why Choose The Scribes Media for Your Biography?

1. Over a Decade of African Story Experience

Since 2014, we have been writing, shaping, and publishing the stories of Africans — from the Niger Delta to Lagos, Abuja to Port Harcourt, and the rest of Africa.  Our writers understand the cultural textures, linguistic nuances, and social contexts that make African biographies authentic and resonant. We do not impose a foreign storytelling lens on your life. We bring your story to life in the voice it deserves.

2. Total Confidentiality — Your Story, Your Terms

Every biography engagement at The Scribes Media is governed by a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement. Your interviews, documents, personal records, and unpublished manuscript remain exclusively yours. We sign before we start, and we protect your story at every stage of the process.

3. Professional Ghostwriting — Your Voice, Not Ours

A ghostwritten biography does not sound like a ghostwriter wrote it. It sounds like you — polished, articulate, and powerful. Our ghostwriters are trained to disappear into your voice: to absorb your speech patterns, your values, your sense of humor, and your perspective, then reconstruct them on the page so that every chapter reads as authentically you.

4. End-to-End Service — From Conversation to Printed Book

We manage the entire biography production process: research, interviews, transcription, writing, editing, proofreading, interior book design, cover design, and print-ready file delivery. You do not need to coordinate multiple vendors. One partner. One seamless process. One finished book.

5. We Write for Publication or Private Legacy

Not every biography needs to be a bestseller. Some of our most meaningful projects are private family legacy books printed in limited runs for distribution among relatives. Others are professionally published titles available on Amazon, in Nigerian bookshops, and across African distribution networks. We serve both goals with equal commitment.

Our Biography Writing Services

Personal Autobiographies

You have lived a remarkable life. Let us help you write it in your own voice. Our autobiography service is designed for individuals who want to tell their own story from childhood origins to present-day legacy  in a structured, engaging narrative that captures the full arc of a life well lived.

Commissioned Biographies

Perfect for families, organizations, or institutions that want to honor a living or deceased subject. We conduct primary research, interview key stakeholders, and write a comprehensive biography that captures the subject's contributions, character, and lasting impact.

Family Legacy Books

Family history is the most endangered kind of history. Grandparents and elderly parents carry stories that will vanish when they are gone. Our family legacy book service preserves those stories in a professionally written and designed volume that becomes a family treasure for generations to come.

Corporate & Institutional Histories

Marking your organization's anniversary, honoring a founder, or documenting your institutional journey? We write compelling corporate histories and organizational biographies that celebrate milestones and reinforce brand identity.

Ministry & Pastoral Biographies

For senior pastors, bishops, and ministry leaders who want to document God's work through their lives. We handle these projects with deep spiritual sensitivity and professional rigor, producing books suitable for church publication, personal gifting, and general Christian readership.

Our 14-Step Biography Writing Process

We follow a proven, structured process that ensures your biography is accurate, compelling, and professionally produced. Every project moves through the following stages:

Step 1: Initial Discovery Call

We begin with a private consultation to understand your story, your goals, and your expectations for the biography.

We learn who you are and why your story needs to be told
We identify the target audience — family, the general public, a corporate readership, or a legacy archive
We discuss tone, scope, and what success looks like for you

Step 2: Project Evaluation & Formal Proposal

After the discovery call, we assess the full scope of the project and prepare a detailed proposal.

Estimated length and complexity of the manuscript
Interview and research requirements, including potential travel
Proposed timeline from kick-off to final delivery
Transparent pricing with a clear payment structure

Step 3: Contract Signing & Initial Deposit

We formalize the engagement with a professional service agreement that protects both parties.

Comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Clear deliverables, revision rounds, and deadlines
Intellectual property and ownership rights assigned to you
Initial deposit required before work begins

Step 4: Research & Materials Collection

We gather every available source of information about the subject's life:

Personal photographs, family records, and documents
Journals, letters, and personal correspondence
Awards, newspaper clippings, and published articles
Audio and video recordings, speeches, and archival materials

Step 5: Deep-Dive Interviews

This is the heart of the biography process. We conduct structured, in-depth interviews with the subject and key people in their life.

Childhood, family background, and formative experiences
Education, early career, and defining turning points
Challenges overcome, lessons learned, and values formed
Achievements, relationships, and legacy intentions
Supporting interviews with family members, colleagues, and associates for depth and verification

Step 6: Transcription & Organisation

All recorded interviews are transcribed accurately and organized for writing.

Recordings transcribed verbatim and reviewed for accuracy
Information sorted chronologically and thematically
A structural framework built before writing begins

Step 7: Story Development & Chapter Outline

We develop the biography's architecture — the framework that shapes your story into a compelling narrative.

Chapter-by-chapter outline shared with you for approval
Theme identification: what your life's story is really about
Narrative arc, tone, and voice established before writing

Step 8: First Draft Writing

Our lead writer begins crafting the manuscript. This is where raw material becomes a book.

Storytelling-first approach: clarity, pacing, emotional resonance
Chapter-by-chapter writing with attention to voice consistency
Progress updates shared at agreed milestones

Step 9: Internal Review & Editing

Before you see a word, the manuscript goes through our internal editorial review.

Structural editing for narrative flow and logic
Consistency checks across chapters
Readability and pacing assessment

Step 10: Client Review

The complete draft is shared with you for review.

Read the manuscript in full
Submit corrections, additions, and feedback
Clarification sessions scheduled if needed

Step 11: Revisions & Refinement

We implement your feedback comprehensively.

All requested corrections and additions incorporated
Storytelling strengthened where needed
Voice and tone alignment confirmed

Step 12: Final Editing & Proofreading

A professional final edit and proofreading pass polishes the manuscript to publication standard.

Grammar, punctuation, and syntax perfected
Formatting consistency reviewed
Final manuscript approved before design

Step 13: Book Design & Formatting

We design your book for professional print and digital publication.

Interior layout and chapter styling
Image placement and caption formatting

Digital files fully owned by the client for all future use

Literature/Writing AdsMopelola Adeniyi - Top Ghostwriter In Nigeria by christscribe(op): 11:33pm On Apr 27
If you’ve searched for a “top ghostwriter in Nigeria,” you already understand the challenge: the internet is filled with bold promises, but very few professionals combine literary excellence, cultural fluency, and a credible publishing track record. My name is Mopelola Adeniyi, known by the moniker “The Celebrity Biographer.”

I am the founder of The Scribes Media Ltd, a Lagos-based writing and media company. Over the past decade, I have worked with clients across Nigeria, the African diaspora, North America, and Europe, helping them transform their stories, legacies, and ideas into compelling written works. With over 10 years of experience in biography curation and ghostwriting, my work is rooted in depth, precision, and narrative authority.

What Is a Ghostwriter — and Why Does It Matter in Nigeria?

A ghostwriter is a professional writer who creates content books, memoirs, biographies, speeches, articles, or scripts — on behalf of another person. The credited author shapes the vision; the ghostwriter transforms it into polished, publishable prose. This arrangement has a long and honorable history, from presidential memoirs in the United States to the autobiographies of African statesmen and traditional rulers.

In Nigeria today, ghostwriting is no longer a whispered secret of the elite. Business leaders, politicians, academics, community chiefs, pastors, entrepreneurs, and everyday individuals with extraordinary stories are increasingly turning to professional ghostwriters to capture their voices and preserve their legacies. The demand is real — and so is the need for a ghostwriter who understands Nigerian history, culture, language, and narrative sensibility.

Meet Mopelola Adeniyi: Nigeria's Leading Ghostwriter and Biography Writer

I am Mopelola Adeniyi — a writer, publisher, and founder of two companies dedicated to writing and publishing: The Scribes Media Ltd and ITAN Global Publishing. My writing career spans fiction, biography, editorial consulting, and content strategy, with deep roots in African literature and storytelling.

As a published author, I understand the writer’s journey from the inside. That lived experience shapes my approach to ghostwriting—I know how to build a compelling narrative arc, sustain a reader’s attention, and give a book the emotional and intellectual weight it deserves.

Through The Scribes Media Ltd, I offer a full spectrum of ghostwriting and biography services to clients across Nigeria and the African diaspora—from Lagos to Abuja, Port Harcourt to London, Houston to Johannesburg, and beyond.

Ghost-writing Services I Offer Through the Scribes Media Ltd

When you hire me, you gain access to a comprehensive, fully managed writing service. Here is what I specialize in:

1. Biography and Autobiography Writing

Whether you are a TECH Founder, public figure, politician, traditional ruler,  a business magnate, a community leader, or a pastor with decades of ministry, your life story deserves to be told well. I specialize in long-form biography and autobiography writing that is research-driven, narrative-rich, and true to the subject's voice. I conduct in-depth interviews, verify facts against historical records, and craft manuscripts that read not like corporate profiles — but like literature.

My biography work is guided by the principle of honest portraiture: we celebrate achievements truthfully, contextualize controversies fairly, and deliver a manuscript that will stand the test of time.

2. Book Ghostwriting (Fiction and Non-Fiction)

Have a book idea but no time, or not enough confidence in your writing skills to see it through? I offer full-service book ghostwriting for both fiction and non-fiction projects. We handle everything: concept development, chapter outlines, first drafts, revisions, and final manuscript delivery. Your voice. Your story. Our craft.

3. Corporate and Executive Ghostwriting

For business leaders and executives who need to establish thought leadership through books, articles, speeches, or LinkedIn content — I provide discreet, professional ghostwriting services. I translate your expertise into compelling written content that builds your brand and extends your influence.

4. Screen Writing

Great screenwriting is more than dialogue, it’s structure, emotion, and timing working together to hold attention from the first scene to the last frame. Whether you’re creating a film, series, or documentary, your script is the foundation everything else depends on. I craft compelling screenplays that bring your vision to life, clear plots, strong characters, and scenes that move audiences. From concept development to final script, every line is written with purpose. If you have a story worth telling, I’ll help you tell it in a way the world will watch.

Why Choose Mopelola Adeniyi as Your Ghostwriter?

There are many people who call themselves ghostwriters in Nigeria. Here is what set  Mopelola apart from others:

Cultural and Global Fluency:  Mopelola writes from within Nigerian and African culture  with a voice that refuses to be contained by geography even as it is rooted, unambiguously, in Lagos. As a global ghostwriter, she does not just put words on a page—but translates influence into narrative. Mopelola works at the intersection of story, power, and positioning. Whether it’s a public figure in Nigeria, a founder building across Africa, or a leader trying to shape how they’re remembered, she takes lived experiences, turning it into something structured, compelling, and scalable.

Literary Standards, Not Template Writing
: She does not produce formulaic, assembly-line manuscripts. Every project  taken on receives dedicated research, structural planning, and multiple rounds of editorial refinement. Her standard is publishable, literary-quality prose — not serviceable content.

Confidentiality and Professionalism: Ghost writing is, by its nature, a relationship built on trust. She operates under full confidentiality agreements. Your project, your identity as the author, and  working relationship remain strictly private.
Track Record in Biography: Her hands-on experience in long-form biography — including complex, multi-source research projects on public figures in Nigerian history — means she bring both methodological rigor and narrative skill to every biography engagement.

Who Hires a Ghostwriter in Nigeria? (And Could It Be You?)

My clients span a wide range of backgrounds and industries.

1. Traditional rulers, High Chiefs, and community leaders who wish to document their reigns and preserve institutional history
2. Retired civil servants, politicians, and military officers with stories of national significance
3. Pastors, bishops, and ministry leaders seeking to document divine encounters, church history, or theological insights
4. Entrepreneurs and business executives building thought leadership through books and articles
5. Academics and professionals who want to make their knowledge accessible to a general audience
5. Individuals in the Nigerian diaspora reconnecting with their heritage through memoir
6. Families commissioning a legacy book to preserve a patriarch's or matriarch's story for future generations.

My Ghostwriting Process: From Conversation to Completed Manuscript

Working with me is a structured, collaborative, and transparent process. Here is how I move from first conversation to finished book:

Discovery Call: We begin with a free, no-obligation consultation to understand your project, your goals, and your timeline. This is where I listen — deeply — before a single word is written.

Scope and Agreement: We outline the project scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, and confidentiality terms. Everything is clear and in writing before work begins.

Research and Interviews: Depending on the project type, we conduct personal interviews, review documents and archives, and gather secondary research to build a complete picture of the story.

Outline and Structure: Before drafting begins, we develop a chapter-by-chapter outline that you approve. This ensures the shape of the book reflects your vision.

Drafting: We write the manuscript in your voice, capturing your cadence, your perspective, and your authority, while applying our full literary skill to the structure and prose.

Review and Revision: You review each section and provide feedback. We incorporate revisions until you are fully satisfied with the manuscript.

Final Delivery: We deliver a clean, professionally formatted manuscript ready for publication.

Literature/Writing AdsITAN, A Publishing Company Built For African Writers by christscribe(op): 2:08pm On Apr 17
ITAN Global Publishing is a Lagos-based self-publishing marketplace that helps African writers publish, distribute, and monetize their books — without agents, gatekeepers, or rejection letters.

For decades, African writers faced a publishing system that was not designed for them.
To get a book into readers' hands, an African author needed a literary agent - usually based in London or New York. That agent needed to believe the manuscript was "commercially viable" for a Western market. Then a publishing house had to agree. Then distribution deals had to be signed. Then the book might, eventually, reach a bookshelf - often not in Africa.

The result? Thousands of African stories never made it to print. Not because they weren't good enough. Because the gatekeepers decided they weren't marketable enough.

ITAN Global Publishing (IGP) was built to change that.

ITAN is a self-publishing marketplace and digital distribution platform designed specifically for African writers. It removes the gatekeepers entirely - and puts publishing power back where it belongs: in the hands of the author.

What Is ITAN Global Publishing?

ITAN Global Publishing, accessible at itan.app, is a Lagos-based publishing technology platform that enables African authors to publish, distribute, and monetize their books - digitally, independently, and on their own terms.

The name ITAN (pronounced ee-tahn) is a Yoruba word meaning story or history. It is both a philosophy and a promise: that African stories matter, that they deserve to be told, and that the infrastructure to tell them should be African-built.

ITAN functions as:

1.A self-publishing platform where authors upload and publish their manuscripts. https://publish.itan.app
2. A digital bookstore https://itan.app/bookstore where readers discover and purchase African literature
A distribution marketplace that surfaces African books to global audiences through metadata, SEO, and discoverability tools
A royalty engine that ensures authors earn fairly from every sale

Unlike traditional publishers, ITAN does not decide which stories get told. Authors do.

Why African Writers Need a Platform of Their Own

1. Traditional Publishing Was Never Built for African Writers
The global publishing industry has historically centered Western stories, Western markets, and Western gatekeepers. African authors who broke through - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Chinua Achebe, Teju Cole - often did so through years of rejection, international agents, and foreign publishing houses.
For every author who made it, hundreds didn't - not because their writing was weak, but because the system wasn't designed to carry their stories.
Self-publishing tools like Amazon KDP changed the landscape globally. But even KDP was not built with the African writer in mind: limited local payment infrastructure, no African currency support, minimal discoverability for African-language or African-themed titles, and zero cultural context for what African readers actually want.

2. African Literature Has a Discoverability Crisis

African books are underrepresented in global search results, online catalogs, and recommendation algorithms. This is not a quality problem - it is an infrastructure problem.
Books need structured metadata (ISBN, ONIX, MARC records), SEO-optimized descriptions, genre tagging, and distribution reach to be found online. Most African self-published authors lack access to these tools. Their books exist - but no one can find them.
ITAN is built to solve this. Every book published through ITAN is indexed with structured metadata, keyword-optimized descriptions, and genre classification - making African books discoverable to both human readers and AI-powered search engines.

3. African Authors Have Been Underpaid

Traditional publishing royalty structures are notoriously unfavorable to authors - often 8–15% of net sales, after agents take their cut. For African authors publishing through foreign houses, the economics are even worse: foreign exchange losses, delayed payments, and opaque reporting are common complaints.
ITAN's royalty model is designed to be transparent and author-first. Writers keep the majority of their earnings. Payments are designed to reach African authors directly, in local currencies where possible.

How ITAN Works: Step by Step

1. Step 1 - Author Onboarding
African writers sign up on itan.app and create an author profile. There are no gatekeepers, no submission committees, no agents required. Any African author - writing in English, French, Yoruba, Igbo, Swahili, Hausa, Zulu, or any other African language - can publish on ITAN.

Step 2 -Manuscript Upload and Formatting

Authors upload their manuscript directly to the platform. ITAN provides formatting guidance and editorial support resources to help authors prepare their books for publication. The platform accepts multiple file formats and supports both fiction and non-fiction titles across all major genres.

Step 3 - Cover Design and Book Metadata
Every book needs a cover and a description that sells. ITAN supports authors in creating compelling book covers and writing SEO-rich book descriptions that are optimized for search engines, AI-powered recommendation tools, and generative search platforms. Structured metadata - including ISBN assignment, genre tagging, and keyword fields - is built into the publishing workflow.

Step 4 - Publishing to the ITAN Bookstore

Once a manuscript is approved and formatted, it goes live on the ITAN bookstore at itan.app/bookstore - a curated digital marketplace of African literature available to readers across the continent and the diaspora.

Step 5 - Distribution and Discoverability

ITAN's distribution strategy is built around discoverability. Published books are indexed using structured ONIX metadata, making them accessible to library catalogs, international book databases, and AI-powered discovery tools. ITAN also builds SEO and content marketing around every title - including blog posts, YouTube content, and social media assets - to drive organic reader traffic.

Step 6 - Royalties and Earnings

Authors earn royalties on every sale. ITAN's model is designed to maximize author earnings, with a transparent reporting dashboard that shows sales data, reader locations, and revenue in real time.

The ITAN Bookstore: Where African Readers Find African Stories

The ITAN bookstore https://itan.app/bookstore is one of the few digital marketplaces in the world dedicated exclusively to African literature.

Readers can browse by genre — including literary fiction, Afrofuturism, historical fiction, romance, spiritual fiction, memoir, and self-help — and discover books from African authors across the continent and diaspora.

For readers in Africa, the bookstore offers a curated alternative to global platforms that bury African titles under layers of Western content. For diaspora readers, it offers a direct connection to contemporary African storytelling — without having to search through platforms that were never designed with them in mind.

LiteratureTwo Fonts — A Gripping Political Thriller About Power, And A Nation On The Brink by christscribe(op): 4:26pm On Feb 03
Two Fronts is a bold, electrifying, and deeply unsettling political thriller that grips you from its first page and refuses to let go. Ẹbuka Chiro Ọkafor delivers a masterful blend of political intrigue, emotional drama, cultural depth, and philosophical tension, making this one of the most compelling contemporary African political novels in recent years.

Set in the newly independent nation of Ọziland, the story unfolds like a ticking time bomb. What begins as a celebration of freedom slowly spirals into suspicion, fear, and authoritarian control. Through the lens of Iloka—a principled intellectual struggling to make sense of his country’s dangerous trajectory—the reader is pulled into a high-stakes world of power, propaganda, betrayal, and survival.

At the heart of the novel is the complex friendship between Iloka and Nnakwẹ. Their ideological clash is riveting, emotionally charged, and intellectually stimulating, offering readers not just a story, but a profound meditation on loyalty, morality, and leadership in a fragile democracy.

What truly sets Two Fronts apart is its rich infusion of Igbo culture, African Animism, and spiritual symbolism, seamlessly woven into a modern political narrative. The futuristic Temple of Ana and the presence of AFA divination add a mystical layer that deepens the tension and elevates the storytelling beyond a conventional political drama.

Fans of African political fiction, post-colonial literature, and psychological thrillers will find themselves completely immersed in this world. The suspense is palpable, the stakes are high, and the revelations are chilling.

If you love books that make you think, question power, and feel deeply, then Two Fronts is an absolute must-read.

I have always believed that Africans hold the key to solving their own challenges, leveraging technology to create transformative solutions.

As a writer, I often wondered why so many African writers struggle to earn from their works.

LiteratureThe World Needs Global African Children's Media Platforms To Champion African Na by christscribe(op): 12:00pm On Nov 01, 2023
The need for  global  African children's brands and platforms is vital. Just as Disney, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, and Cartoon Network have worldwide impact, powerful African voices in children's media are essential.

Children's media holds immense power as it shapes young minds. Unfortunately, there's a severe lack of media portraying Africa positively and educationally. It's crucial for African children to access media reflecting their culture and values.

Writing stories that speak to the masses is not just about selling books, it is about making sure that African literature remains relevant as a mode of expressing popular consciousness.

For the Black Diaspora, these global African voices connect them to their heritage, fostering a sense of identity and pride. It also counters negative stereotypes that non-Black African and non-African Diaspora children often encounter in mainstream media.

Establishing powerful African voices in children's media is our responsibility. Many individuals, from authors, to illustrators and animation studios, are working hard to make this a reality. The future looks promising for the emergence of influential  African global children's brands.

The Scribes Media, a digital publishing company, is one of the firms at the forefront of this mission, uniting writers, illustrators, and animators of African heritage to craft content for the young demography.

We are coming up with ALO. An App that will carry a library of literature books, comics, phonics, graphic novels, animations , games and other education and entertainment content from creators of African descent.

If you are a writer, illustrator, and animators who creates content for children, please click on the links below to join the community where updates will be provided on the onboarding process.

Literature/Writing AdsA Review Of Soul Reapers - An Apocalypse Christian Fiction by christscribe(op): 3:51pm On Aug 01, 2023
SOUL REAPERS is a supernatural apocalypse fiction about the end -time. A revelational apocalypse fiction about the workings of man’s arch-enemy, the Devil, as he seeks to deceive multitudes into eternal damnation.

It is set in Nigeria and written by a Nigerian writer, Mopelola Adeniyi. With remarkable clarity, Soul Reapers delves into the diverse states of believers in the present era, shedding profound light on the myriad challenges they encounter in their unwavering commitment amidst temptations and trials.

This book skillfully portrays characters that mirror the current state of numerous households, ministries, personal lives, and marriages. It serves as a resounding alarm, urging believers to remain vigilant and prepared for the imminent second coming of the Lord.

With vivid descriptions, it unveils the warfare within the spiritual realm and exposes the cunning tactics employed by the enemy to entice, confuse, and destabilize believers.

As I delved into its pages, I frequently found myself pausing and engaging in heartfelt repentance.

Characters In The Apocalypse Fiction – Soul Reapers

• Chidi and Azuka

Soul Reapers begins with a divine revelation of the rapture, a moment that leaves many churchgoers behind. Among them are Chidi and Azuka, a lovely couple who were once dedicated members of their church. However, they soon find themselves targeted by satanic forces, facing a relentless assault on their faith.

Chidi, in particular, struggles to navigate the prolonged financial hardship that follows the loss of his job. Overwhelmed by bitterness, he unknowingly opens the door for the enemy to exploit his vulnerability. Succumbing to temptation, he spirals into a state of moral decay and spiritual destruction.

Technology MarketWe Must Embrace The Ai Revolution by christscribe(op): 3:25pm On Aug 01, 2023
I joined ChatGPT in January during the buzz about AI, but I didn't actively engage with it until July. Suddenly, my Facebook wall was inundated with posts and advertisements extolling the marvels of AI and its indispensability as a breakthrough solution.

Then, I came across the words of Jack Ma, the CEO of Alibaba.

He remarked, " Many years ago, the internet unleashed a wave that swept away the unprepared years ago. Now, AI is here, swiftly taking over everything we know. We cannot stop it. We must either accept and ride this AI tide or be swept away."

In simple terms, AI stands for Artificial Intelligence, which is the field of computer science and technology focused on creating intelligent machines capable of emulating human intelligence and performing tasks typically requiring human intellect.

As AI technology evolves, we will likely witness the emergence of Cooking Robots, Office Support Robots, Driving Robots, Housekeeping Robots, Babysitting Robots, and robotic surgery which involves the utilization of specialized robots to perform intricate and delicate surgical procedures.

I read a while ago about a company that displaced its support staff with AI, leading to their layoff. (Image attached)

Another opportunity is looming again. Are you going to miss it?

Intrigued, I began studying AI and discovered ways to incorporate it into my work, making it more streamlined. The things I uncovered thrilled, shocked, and amazed me.

For instance, I had been working on a book for a client that aimed to spark the interest of  young girls in STEM courses  such as  engineering, mathematics, and science. However, I hit a roadblock when I reached the sixth chapter. That's when I decided to seek assistance from an AI chatbot.

The output it generated astounded me, provided information I would have never imagined. Although I had to sift through the generated content and discard the irrelevant portions, the exercise revitalized my creativity.

There is still much to learn, and I look forward to continue to explore how AI can enhance my profitability, efficiency in service delivery, and marketing automation.

I noticed that AI works best for those who have already created something with the use of their minds. It refines and enhances existing work instead of simply generating an entire work from scratch.

If you're a writer, for instance, AI can help overcome writer's block and generate fresh ideas. If you're an artist, it can transform your work into masterpieces you hadn't even envisioned.

After advising my illustrator to explore the potential of AI in enhancing his creations, he took my suggestion to heart. Within a few days, he shared some of the artwork that had been generated with the assistance of AI. The results surpassed his wildest imagination.

CareerYou Can Make 5 Figures As A Writer ( Proven Steps) by christscribe(op): 2:47pm On Aug 01, 2023
In the past, writing was often perceived as an unrewarding, monotonous, and seemingly dead-end profession.

I distinctly recall the moment I shared my aspiration to study Journalism and pursue a career as a writer with my Dad. His reaction was quite remarkable.

He inquired, "Can you name any writer or author who has achieved wealth?"

Having no concrete answer to his question, I eventually chose to follow his path and studied FINANCE at college.

However, the love for creative writing had been ingrained in me long before I came into this world. Consequently, I find myself continuously drawn back to the art of writing.

Today, I am one of those individuals who have turned their home into a workspace, embracing a more relaxed and flexible approach to work.

I enjoy writing from the comfort of my bed or couch, taking calls while cooking, and even assisting my child with his math assignments.

If you share this laid-back work style, then this information is for you.

On one occasion, someone asked, "How do you make money as a writer?"

If you are asking that the same question, then you need to read this👇
