Let's be honest, a 26yr old pro footballer who has been playing organized football since age 10 won't suddenly develop a good first touch. It is what it is.
Lukaku is likely to thrive in the slower Serie A where his mediocre first touch won't be such an issue, but no amount of work will significantly improve that first touch at this age.

people are buying youngsters for the future, we are replacing a young guy with a 'used pad' that appears to be still useful.
