It's like this EFCC has outlived it's usefulness, just targeting Nigerian youths left and right and centre whereas the main people committing the real financial crimes are walking freely. Even Yahaya Belo somebody they claim to be looking for when to their office but dey couldn't arrest him.

Small time they will start arresting husbands for beating their wives.

Akpabio is the Senate president. He is not answerable to the president or the judiciary.
He is only answerable to the house. If the house finds him worthy, he has no case to answer.
If the Senate becomes reasonable enough, they would ask him to step down as Senate president so he can defend himself as a floor member of the house and not as the Senate president.
The implication is that if he is found guilty, there won't be another proceedings to impeach him. He looses his Senate president position and risks suspension and expulsion from the Senate like Patricia etteh of the house of reps.

As long as there is no ambitious senator to demand that he step down for investigation, he remains untouchable. Not even the president can do anything about it unless the president want to risk being impeached by Akpabio controlled National assembly.

The balance of payment of Nigeria in 2024 recorded a trade surplus after over 15 years.

The surplus was significantly influenced by the 28% drop in the imports of PMS through the functionality of the Dangote Refinery.

One of the single greatest contributor to the Dangote Refinery coming to fruition is Akinwunmi Adeshina (PhD). He personally mobilsed financial assistance through the AFDB vehicle to assist the completion of Dangote.
