Politics › NANS 21-day Ultimatum Over SEDC Is Premature, Misplaced And Anti-development. by ChudiABC(op): 2:51pm On Sep 28
By Omenyi 2.

The statement credited to the Senate of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) calling for the removal of the Managing Director of the South East Development Commission (SEDC), Mr. Mark Okoye, is not only hasty but betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of how development commissions work.

To demand the sack of a young, competent technocrat who has just led the Commission from its difficult take-off phase of planning and intensive stakeholder engagement into actual implementation is to punish progress.

1. From Blueprint To Bulldozer: SEDC Is Now In Implementation:

Every development commission in Nigeria — NDDC, NEDC, and others — spent its first year setting up structures, building a master plan, and consulting stakeholders. SEDC was only established in July 2024. What Okoye and his team have done in just over a year is remarkable: a regional roadmap, a credible project pipeline, and now a clear shift to execution.

The proof is the ongoing rollout of the agro-mechanisation initiative across the South East, starting with the flag-off in Enugu State. This is not a conference or a PowerPoint presentation. It is tractors, inputs, service centres and jobs for our youth. It is one of 15 such projects planned across Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo. This is exactly the practical intervention in agriculture, employment and youth development that the South East has been crying for.

To call this "poor performance" at the very moment implementation is beginning is unfair.

2. On The N16.6 Billion Allegation: Investigation Is Not Indictment:

NANS itself admitted these are "matters requiring investigation." The Senate Committee hearing in June 2026 that raised questions about expenditure lines like the Abuja liaison office and "implied expenditure" is a normal oversight function. It is not a finding of guilt. The Committee demanded documentation, and the Commission has a duty to provide it.

Financial mismanagement cannot be declared on the pages of newspapers. If NANS wants accountability, it should allow the audit and oversight process to run its course and insist that the outcome be published — which is already the standard procedure — rather than demanding a sack before the facts are established.

3. Disconnect Or Deep Consultation?

The claim that SEDC is disconnected from communities is contrary to verifiable facts. In the last 12 months, SEDC has held town halls and private sector roundtables across all five South Eastern states, engaging governors, traditional rulers, chambers of commerce, and youth groups to avoid the top-down mistakes that crippled NDDC.

True grassroots connection is not sharing money on campuses. It is building systems that will outlast this administration. Agro-mechanisation, erosion control, and industrial cluster development take time to design well, but their impact is lasting.

4. A Dangerous Precedent For The South East:

The South East fought for decades for this Commission. The President gave us a young, globally exposed leader in Mark Okoye to prove that youth can deliver. If we allow every group to issue a 21-day ultimatum and threaten to shut down the Commission's offices each time a Senate question is asked, no MD will ever be able to focus on the job.

What the South East needs now is stability, not another leadership crisis.

NANS should redirect its energy to partnering with SEDC — monitoring the agro-mechanisation project in Enugu, ensuring students in agriculture benefit, and holding the Commission to measurable targets — rather than calling for its head.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should ignore this distraction, allow the ongoing investigation to be concluded transparently, and give Mr. Okoye and his team the support to deliver on their mandate.

The SEDC has moved from planning to implementation. That is progress worth protecting.

Culture › Dedicated To High Chief Ezeana Obiora Dibiaezue, Afa Eji Eje Mba 1 Of Ifitedunu by ChudiABC(op): 4:43pm On Sep 23
Afaejiejemba! ...There is profound significance in a name.

While others are incidentally, accidentally or calculatively ascribed with names that depict them as local warriors, village warlords, or the like, by Divine Providence and through Infinite Intelligence, High Chief Ezeana O. Dibiaezue was ordained as Ifitedunu's Afa Eji Eje Mba.

This is iconic not merely a title or an alias.

It is a symbol of what the bearer represents in Ifitedunu and, by extension, Dunukofia as a whole.

This name did not come by mere coincidence. One does not become an ambassador of his town by accident or by merely engaging in frivolities and or through what has become widely known as Cho-cho-cho in Anambra State at large.

High Chief Obiorah Dibiaezue is a father, a dignitary, a role model in its truest sense, and a philanthropist of repute. His distinguished professional career spans decades, with documented service in strategic capacities, including:

Period: 2006
Documented Position: Assistant General Manager / Branch Manager, Abuja Main

Period: 2009
Documented Position: Business Development Manager, Owerri

Period: 2011
Documented Position: Group Head, Corporate Banking – Port Harcourt North

I have deliberately chosen not to burden this tribute with his entire biography, but to highlight these essentials.

It is pertinent to note that the Dibiaezue Family, from which High Chief Ezeana Obiorah Dibiaezue originates, has been instrumental to the making of modern Ifitedunu.

It was the patriarch of the Dibiaezue Family, Chief Barr. Zacchaeus Dibiaezue – an exceptionally accomplished, self-educated product of the London School of Economics, who later served as Commissioner of Finance in post-war Nigeria – who played a pivotal role in the development of the community.

It was through the influence of the Dibiaezue family that the establishment of the traditional kingship institution was facilitated, leading to the emergence of His Royal Highness, Igwe Engr. Ezechi Augustine Chukwuma Okoye, Eze Dunu I.

This clearly demonstrates that the Dibiaezue family has played a significant and enduring role in the modern political and traditional history of Ifitedunu.

Therefore, when next you hear certain individuals engage in their characteristic campaign of calumny and guilt-tripping against our reputable men, it is imperative to look closer and ask the pertinent questions:

Who is blowing the pipe?

Who is paying the piper?

What do the piper and his possible sponsors do for a living?

What is their occupation and professional background?

And, as our people would customarily ask:

What is their surname?

It is only upon such sober reflection that one discovers that the gravest mistake any reasonable person can make is to engage in a contest with a pig in muddy waters.

As James Hadley Chase has always counselled:

Never fight a man who has nothing to lose.

A reputable man has no business contending with a man who has no integrity.

I remain,

Politics › Addressing Youths' Restiveness In Ifitedunu: A Call To Urgent Action. by ChudiABC(op): 8:57pm On Aug 12
It is deeply concerning to observe that a significant number of youths in Ifitedunu have become readily available for acts of thuggery, brigandage, and other forms of social misconduct. This unfortunate trend can largely be attributed to the influence of negative role models within our community.

Furthermore, the prevalence of this behavior is exacerbated by two critical factors: the absence of adequate vocational skills among our young people, and the lack of positive, constructive role models to guide them toward productive paths.

Should we fail to deliberately and decisively address this downward trajectory, the consequences will be dire. Our youths risk maturing into a disenfranchised demographic prone to unrest, whose pent-up frustrations may ultimately culminate in a social explosion of catastrophic and far-reaching proportions.

History provides us with a clear alternative. Those societies and individuals who have achieved meaningful development did so by taking deliberate control of their destiny. They achieved this by re-examining outdated traditions, embracing innovation, and committing themselves to productive and lawful enterprises.

The imperative for action is immediate. To postpone intervention is to mortgage the future of Ifitedunu to the errors of the present. It is therefore incumbent upon all stakeholders — community leaders, parents, government, and the youths themselves — to initiate deliberate programs aimed at skills acquisition, mentorship, and value re-orientation.

The time to act is now.

Politics › Dunukofia Aspirants' Amateuer Political Syllogisms: by ChudiABC(op): 10:55pm On Feb 04
Dunukofia over zealous political office seekers in conjunction with their enablers and facilitators now preempt a crime that will happen in future and then surreptitiously cajole us, fellow adults to prescribe the punishment for the envisaged future crime.

Haba! What travesty!

Never mind me. I am just worried, thinking aloud... that is

In all this theír political brouhaha and campaign gimmicks, I will passively stand and stare with hands akimbo. I am in the know, citizens are more aware now.

But...!

Remember!!

We have been treated with this premature political innuendos. It is now a recurring favourite passtime every election period.

I still remember that last time, it was @⁨APGA Owulu⁩, now the President General of Nawgu, promising to tell us a special kind of *Dunukofia Political Historical Story* then.

He *UNSUCCESSFULLY* attempted something that could be adduced as *Ukpo Hegemony* but failed before he could drive into the full gist... exactly the same way the new storytellers are failing in their well rehearsed attempt to tarnish Ukpo, our senior brother.

*Now, the same blackmail of Ukpo has been orchestrated and replayed in full swing by political hirings masquerading as messiahs and or fortunetellers.*

Why do we love perambulating in circles?

This is 2026 for God's sake.

We are in an intelligence and information driven era where the Internet of Things and Social Media have made the people more aware, more enlightened and more united as one global family. The import of this for both mobilization and revolution need no emphasis.

If the doom our present naysayers predict and harp on happened years ago, it won't happen again.

Period.

I will not stop without reminding us that there is a big difference between *CONSTITUTIONALITY* and *CONVINIENCE.*

To make it simple.

Constitutionality operates on the principles of legality while Convenience derives its relevance on the alters of legitimacy.

Legality is law. Legitimacy is emotional. But law doesn't do emotions.

So.

When legality jams legitimacy before any court of competent jurisdictions, legality will always win legitimacy.

A word is enough for the wise.

We have already settled this present issues at/before the election that produced current Dunukofia Mayor, Chijioke Clement Ozumba, Esq.

As an incumbent, the Local Government Area Administration Laws allow him the privilege of second tenure. The law cannot be repealed by any legitimate understanding and or agreement.

Our current legitimate rotational arrangements and unwritten laws on Powershift says that the present position is zoned to Ukpo.

The clarifications by ndị Igwe, the voice of the gods summing it up to a total of 4 years are unambiguous. After Ukpo, Ifitedunu is already an established and generally accepted consensus.

Why the storm in the teacups?

Why the fuss over nothing?

Why the replay of that failed unsuccessful past political gimmicks by the same old folks political chessboard players?

Let us be mindful lest we awake the beast in sleeping political lions.

Let us be mindful.

Let us be mindful...lest, through the ensuing political mumbojumbo, ndi agbero nọ na Dunukofia corridors of power might become more aware of the drawbacks of any Gentleman's Political Agreements in a Democracy.

▪️▪️▪️▪️

If you teach Agbero their inherent rights, ị ghasaa obodo.

From now... I stand and stare.

Politics › Stigmatization And Political Over Zealousness In Ifitedunu by ChudiABC(op): 11:10am On Feb 02
Please ndị APGA,

May I make this appeal now, as early as I can.

The entire Ifitedunu Community should not be LABELED and or STIGMATIZED for the sins of a few recalcitrant, obstinately uncooperative over zealous and over ambitious aspirants.

Each adult individual is responsible for his own choices and actions as well as his calculated well rehearsed and premeditated undoings.

And the holy writ says that God shall punish our iniquities 👉 *"each according to the works of thine own hands."*

Scapegoating the entire Ifitedunu Town in this travesty against the wishes of the entire Dunukofia as obviously expressed through the Royal Majesties is totally wrong and reprehensible.

In the light of the fact that these Royal Majesties are not only the voice of the gods but the custodians of cultures and traditions including everything that Dunukofia reveres and holds dear, 👉 *Anybody or any group that goes against the directives of our Royal Majesties has committed abomination.* Majority of ndị Ifitedunu and by extension ndị Dunukofia are in support of our ndị Igwe.

Another name for Democracy is *MAJORITY GOVERNMENT.*

The majority of ndị Ifitedunu are completely against the over ambitious aspirations of those few individuals and the majority of ndị Ifitedunu will prove this at the right time.

Meanwhile, as it were.

Everybody has the liberty of claiming to be an Aspirant.

We will continue to await those who will prove or show their seriousness by way of purchasing both the Declaration of Interest Form and Nomination Form which is a total of ₦6,000,000.00.

Until this aspect of this quest is complied with, we will continue to view these Dunukofia APGA over ambitious zealots as Political Dissidents.

Politics › Bastardization Of Nze Na Ozo Ancient Prestigious Traditional Society by ChudiABC(op): 6:28am On Jan 20
🌻🌻🌻🌻

HOW RIFFRAFFS BECAME MEMBERS OF NZE NA OZO PRESTIGIOUS TRADITIONAL SOCIETY.

🌻🌻🌻🌻

👉 A developing story!

▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️

In the meantime and in reaction to the referenced post.

No Sir.

They did not give you an accurate report. A few days ago, I wrote a prelude to a disturbing development capable of putting Ifitedunu and Dunukofia at self destruct into cultural retrogression and reversal.

👇👇

*Check my post on January 7 by 10:19.*

It is a developing story and the authentic facts will be published here ASAP.

For now.

The Ézè Dunu through the Igwe in Council ordered for the Nze ná Ozo to exercise restraint in their planned change of button. But some dissidents who are hell bent on desecrating everything that Dunukofia holds sacred used what you see and hear now, a kangaroo election to make a caricature of the Eze Dunu stool and traditional authorities.

Like in the recent Amaenye Election which has been corrected by well meaning good citizens, this bastardization of our customs, norms, mores, cultures and traditions will never be allowed to stand.

Never!

In summary.

There was no election in Nze na Ozo. It was just a few kids playing fiddle with their dad's testicles.

▪️▪️▪️▪️

"The child that dances surugede was not informed that surugede indeed was the music of the spirits."

▪️▪️▪️▪️

Nze ná Ozo is not an association of rascals. It is not and it will never be.

Nze ná Ozo is a Revered Ancient Prestigious Traditional Society. It has never been a children's club.

The destruction of this ancient society cannot be condoned at all.

Be assured.

The right thing will be done; and it will be a surgical operation...soon.

Politics › Amaenye Elections: The Pastor Ben And Nkwelle Ezunaka Example. by ChudiABC(op): 7:52am On Jan 10
Who is afraid of credible elections in Amaenye?

Amaenye Election is scheduled to be held today by 9am at their Civic Hall. The President General of Ifitedunu Town Union, Prof. Stephen U. Ufoaroh has given indications that nothing will stop the elections from holding as scheduled.

The Mayor of Dunukofia, Chijioke C. Ozumba Esq is fully abreast of all the fallouts that led to the election which was supposed to hold since April last year been shifted till now and has committed to personally be among the observers. He has vowed that all ethos of democracy must be applied to ensure free, fair and credible elections. According to him, "the people will be given opportunity to elect their preferred candidate."

But there are indications that some people are scheming to thwart the said elections and prevent it from holding in any form.

One particular side of the story claims that there are plans to disqualify one of the candidates, Mr. Akachukwu Odili on trumped up allegations.

Another side claims that due to the foreseeable implications of the alleged disqualifications and the chaos that might arise, the other contender, Mr. Akachukwu's opponent may equally be disqualified as a DAMAGE CONTROL measure.

There is yet another version that some highly influencial individuals are scheming to use a political office holder to stop the election from holding with a view to achieve their sinister agenda.

One of the allegations peddled borders on the accused contestants being an ex-convict. There are plenty other accusations and counter accusations levelled against that particular candidate.

The veracity of all the claims cannot be ascertained as at the time of this report. There are no facts and or evidence to substantiate their claims.

As it stands now, we are aware that critical stakeholders in the election of today have vowed that they will be dealing with facts not emotions.

For now and from all indications, arrangements are on top gear for the security and safety of both the voters and the electoral process. Organisers have guaranteed a hitch free exercise.

Recall that some days ago, NKWELLE EZUNAKA, a community in Anambra State was reported to have gathered for their town's President General Election. A trouble-rousing indigene attempted to disrupt the said elections but was contained by another stronger indigene of the Town who was said to be an officer of US Security Forces. The stronger indigene sent the trouble maker and his armed thugs scampering away disgracefully from the election venue. This enabled the elections to proceed peacefully through Option A4 which was generally accepted by the people.

In another development, it was PASTOR BEN who intervened in the last Ifitedunu Town Union elections when tensions escalated. His directives and insistence of following constitutional provisions led to the peaceful conduct and generally accepted outcome of that elections. The method of elections adopted by the people was Option A4.

Furthermore, the governor and his Solution Team has always adopted Option A4 as a panacea for resolving Town/Market Union's intractable election crisis.

In all these, the insistence was that the wishes of the majority of the people should be respected and accepted.

Mr. Commissioner for Chieftaincy, Town Union Matters and Community Affairs, Chief Hon. Tonny-Collins Nwabunwanne had ordered the management of Ifitedunu Town Union to conduct a generally accepted elections in Amaenye Ward of Ukpomili Village, Ifitedunu.

Amaenye is one of the component Wards of Ukpomili Village in Ifitedunu, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State. It is very strategic due to its economic implications in the area. Its contributions to the internally generated revenue across board needs cannot be over emphasized.

May Amaenye succeed.

Politics › Is "Onye Isi Ndị Ọzọ" The Chairman Or Ordinary Floor Member: by ChudiABC(op): 8:21am On Jan 05
Who is desperate for conquest? Who is trying to conquer everybody and everything in Dunukofia including the Prestigious Nze na Ozo Traditional Society in Ifitedunu and Dunukofia?

Who is desperately destroying everything that the society holds dear?

Should the society stand and stare in the face of threat to its existence?

No na!

To this end, Chief Augustine Okoye_Odenigbo Ifitedunu is appreciated for challenging the status quo. He has continued to affirm and reaffirm that:

Onye isi ndị Ọzọ is the substantive Chairman of Ndị Nze ná Ọzọ and as such, any other preference is an aberration.

Listen ụmụnne m.

We must start resisting everything that is inimical to the general welfare of everyone. We must start questioning some of the recent traditions rearing its ugly head every here and there.

We must learn how to boldly and responsibly challenge the status quo for us to have progress and growth in this constantly changing world especially in those areas where a few insignificant minorities have engaged communities on a reverse gear.

Odenigbo has boldly affirmed that Nze ná Ozo Akamanatọ has "Onye Isi ndị Ọzọ." He is insisting that "Onye Isi Ndị Ọzọ" is the Chairman of Nze ná Ozo Akamanatọ.

This is seen as bold thinking with both integrity and understanding of customs, cultures, traditions and power dynamics. He must be prepared for resistance from some SOCIAL MARAUDERS.

WE THANK ODENIGBO FOR THIS COURAGEOUS INITIATIVE TO BREAK STAGNANT THINKING.

Politics › Our Police Is Not An Instrument Of Aggression, Oppression Or Suppression. by ChudiABC(op): 5:13am On Dec 09, 2025
THE POLICE IS OUR POLICE:

Let nobody deceive you that they own the police.

Na lie.

The police is LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.

Once the law is on your side, the police has a duty whether he likes it or not to protect you.

Once the law is not on your side, the police can never protect you even if he is your father.

Just pay close attention to that demolition of fence as the matter progresses. Ndi Oga on Top can only pull one or two plugs with one or two unscrupulous officers but depending on the capability and of course, the wherewithal of the complainant, once the case go court, *facts and evidence* takes more precedence over your contacts and or connections.

E'get as e'go be, ndi Oga on Top go abandon you to your own self inflicted peril.

I am talking from experience.

There is nothing as beneficial as Umunna Justice System. Call it ADR...that is, Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Use your head, apply wisdom at all times.

There is no brotherhood anywhere in this world. A Petitioner, a supposed friend and my President pointed at me and labelled me a cultist chasing after him, carrying guns, matchets and clubs with the aim to assassinate him. He didn't consider the long lasting relationship, connections and brotherhood we have shared.

Conscience and Integrity, once they depart from a man, he makes way for his own Waterloo.

Using the police against a brother is a waste of resources. Brothers should learn that the police is our friend and our police.

Police is not an instrument for aggression, oppression, harassment, intimidation, molestation and or suppression.

The police is there to protect citizens.

If you know, DPO, somebody knows Commissioner of Police. If you know AIG, somebody knows IG of Police. If you know the DG of Police Service Commission, somebody knows the President.

Knowledge is power. Knowing your rights is good.

*If I wan see the AIG or the IG tomorrow, I don't need visa. The same thing applies to you.*

When AIG Ringim was in Zone 9 Umuahia before he became IG of Police, I dey go him office.

When Compol Suleiman was the Commissioner of Police, Rivers State, I dey go see-am for office before he later became the IG of Police.

When Olofush, a one time AIG if Zone 13 was the Commander of Mopol 25, Azummiri, I dey go him office.

When one Paul, our then AVG Commander during our tour of the *Burnt Eze Dunu Palace* wanted to introduce me to a one time DPO at Ukpo Police Command, I told him the said DPO was my juniour in the department in University. Surprised, Mr. Paul looked at the said DPO and the DPO called, *"Chiobi, where you take reach here."*

See.

Ejiri police eyi mmadụ egwu. The police is there for all of us. Just stay away from crime.

Politics › Know Your Right To Free Association. by ChudiABC(op): 6:58am On Dec 08, 2025
Some people do not know that you do not have right to force anybody to join any association whether you think that association is compulsory, mandatory or not. Forcing people to join any association is a criminal offense.

Age grade is an association.

Committee of Friends is an Association.

Church groups are associations.

Umunna Meeting is an association.

Village Congress/Assembly/Meeting or by whatever acronym is an association.

Town Unions is an association.

Born Again Associations is an association.

Hear this.

Stop forcing people to join associations they are not willing to be part of. Membership of any group, organisation, Union, committee, Congress, association or by whatever name you call it must be voluntary as far as the laws of this country is concerned.

It's not new that people get forced to join associations such as community associations, church associations, market union associations, estate associations, landlord's associations and professional body associations etc.

The right to association is guaranteed by section 40 of Nigeria's Constitution as a fundamental right.

This means that a person can decide to join any lawful association or not.

Where a person refuses to join any association, it is a violation of the person's fundamental right to force the person to join.

It is also a criminal offence to forcefully take away a person's belongings, property or goods simply because they refused to join the association.

It is illegal to force the person to pay association dues or fine the person for refusing to join the association.

If you decide not to join an association and they come harassing you or cart away your property or goods, you can report such associations to relevant human rights agencies or engage the services of a lawyer.

The lawyer will write to the association to stay away from you or face legal actions.

If the association fails to stay away or seizes your property or goods, you can sue them for violations of your right to association and claim compensation against them.

You can also have the association leaders arrested for trespass and illegal seizure of your property.

The courts have held that it is illegal and a violation of fundamental rights to force a person to join an association whether under custom or rules.

Stop begging them when they come to harass you, get them arrested or sue and claim compensation.

Let me finally remind us that the sole purpose of association is for common goal. People willingly join associations to achieve those things which they cannot easily achieve on their own. And at any point any association you belong to are no longer fulfilling those aims and objectives for which you joined them, quit.

It is your prerogative.

Politics › Ndị Ifitedunu Are Cow Ranchers Too In Partnership With Hausa Business Associates by ChudiABC(op): 7:39pm On Dec 07, 2025
🌻🌻🌻🌻

*NEWS ALERT:*

🌻🌻🌻🌻

In the news today...

One *"Ugo na Mma (08027805412)"* a self acclaimed Acting PG of Ifitedunu, spokesman and media head of Akwa Media accused an unnamed Royal Majesty *(possibly Eze Dunu)* of importing Fulani into Agu Akwa. This accusations happened today at exactly 5:02pm during an exchange with one Chukwuebuka.

You may recall that just a few days ago, a certain Akwa Village stakeholder took to the social media to raise a *False Alarm* that Hausa had invaded Agu Akwa.

Investigation by *Omenyi2Media* revealed that the said Hausa invasion was actually a deliberate fear mongering to create unnecessary panic amongst indigenes that might be coming home to participate in this December Election at Akwa Village.

The said Hausa Invaders are our BROTHERS' HERDERS who shepherded our brothers' cows to the bush for fresh pastures. One of the cows got weak and could not return home.

So the herders contacted our brother, their Oga popularly known as *Ogbuefi* who gave them permission to slaughter the cow and promised them he will get their customers to come and take possession of the slaughtered meat.

Ogbuefi proceeded to inform Akwa Village Chairman of the development and went ahead to pay a *SECURITY FEE OF =N=10,000.00* to them.

He was surprised to discovered that the whole incident was later misconstrued and his workers tagged as criminals.

Ogbuefi has alerted the general public that he and a few of our people are big-time cow ranchers and merchants and as such, most of the cows we see around Dunukofia belong to himself and his colleagues.

He has informed the general public that the Hausa herders under their employment are responsible and diligent assistants and associates who are above board when tested using any moral parameters. He warns that labelling such honest people in the way that trended on a recent video is a bad omen that does nobody any good but is capable of impacting their cow business negatively.

He appeals for the debunking of that false information before it escalates.

Politics › Hausa Invasion Of Ifitedunu: A False Alarm. by ChudiABC(op): 10:12pm On Dec 05, 2025
The purpose of this addendum is to present factual information regarding the disturbing trend that has emerged in our community, threatening the harmony and peaceful coexistence that has defined our relationships with our Hausa business assistants, partners and associates. A false alarm, allegedly generated by a certain Akwa Village Critical Stakeholder, has sparked unnecessary panic and tension, claiming amongst others that:

▪️ Hausa people are invading the Ifitedunu community.

▪️Have slaughtered multiple cows belonging to our brothers.

▪️May start slaughtering Ifitedunu indigenes any moment.

We, the people of Ifitedunu, condemn this malicious falsehood, deliberate lies and calculated misinformation in the strongest terms and call on the perpetrator to desist from spreading such baseless and inflammatory information. The ripple effect of such an act can be disastrous, not only for our community but also for the larger society.

Our community has enjoyed a long-standing and mutually beneficial relationship with our Hausa brothers, built on trust, respect, and cooperation. Many of us have engaged in successful business ventures with the Hausa people, sharing resources, ideas, and expertise to create wealth and prosperity for all. This false alarm has the potential to undermine these efforts and create unnecessary tension and conflict.

We urge our leaders, elders, and all stakeholders to take immediate action to address this situation and prevent further escalation. We also call on our Hausa brothers to remain calm and assure them that we value and cherish our relationships with them.

The actions of a few mischief makers should not be allowed to disrupt the peace and harmony that exists between us. We must stand together to reject hate speech, misinformation, and divisive tactics that seek to undermine our collective progress.

Let us work together to build a more inclusive, tolerant, and peaceful society, where everyone can live without fear or intimidation. *We demand that our brother who raised the said false alarm, retracts the false statement and apologizes to the Hausa community for the harm caused.

Together, we can build a brighter future for ourselves and our children. We must learn to coexist with other people who are not of the same sociocultural backgrounds with us exactly the same way others are coexisting peacefully with our own brothers and sisters scattered everywhere across the globe.

Politics › Political Charade As Election Against The Constitution Of Ndị Amaenye, Ukpomili by ChudiABC(op): 9:42am On Dec 02, 2025
The grund norm in Ifitedunu is the Constitution of Ifitedunu Town Union (I.T.U.). The one in Ukpomili is the Constitution of the Ukpomili People's Assembly (U.P.A.), a subunit of I.T.U.

In Amaenye is the Constitution of Amaenye Ukpomili People's Congress, a component unit of U.P.A. This constitution is both sacred and sacrosanct in the running of affairs and smooth governance of ndị Amaenye.

Where any constitution and or bylaws are very specific and unambiguous on any matter or issues, the dictates of that constitution must be complied with without deviation.

Any deviation or contravention renders the action illegal, null and void to the extent of its inconsistency with the constitution in view.

▪️Amaenye Stakeholders is unknown to the Constitution of ndị Amaenye.

▪️ Declaration of Interest Letters is unknown to the Constitution of ụmụ Amaenye.

▪️ Imposition of candidates is unknown to the Constitution of Amaenye Ukpomili People's Assembly.

In fact, their constitution is unequivocal when it says inter alia:

*"Every elective positions MUST be contested."*

The employment of *"MUST"* is that Subsection is not by mistake.

For emphasis, "must" is a modal verb used to express *obligation, necessity, or a strong recommendation.*

Some other Sections of Amaenye Ukpomili People's Congress Constitution provides guidelines for smooth transitions in Amaenye leadership.

Why the management of UPA through its chairman chose to conduct the supposed elections according to his own whims and caprices still baffles me up to this moment. The said Chairman openly stated that he will not be using the Constitution of Amaenye Ukpomili People's Congress to conduct the election of their executives. Rather, he asserted that he and his entire executives together with the members of his Conflict Resolution Committee will be using the Constitution of Ukpomili People's Assembly to conduct the said election.

This is a deliberate infraction on the clear provisions of the Amaenye Ukpomili People's Congress Constitution and as such, all actions taken within the context of the supposed elections is as invalid as the desecration of the constitution of the people of Amaenye, Ukpomili.

The imposition of candidates which is against the will of the people and the clear intent as stipulated in their constitution is tantamount to no action.

You cannot place something on nothing and expect it to stand.

I had expected the UPA Management to act as unbiased umpires by ensuring that the extant provisions guiding elections ụmụ Amaenye is strictly complied with to ensure a free, fair and credible elections. Instead, he and his team called out names from a list they claimed to be submitted by Amaenye Stakeholders and gave them the mandate to spearhead the leadership of ndị Amaenye.

This is an open assault on the Amaenye Ukpomili People's Congress Constitution and a rape of their internal democracy.

UPA Chairman, Mr. Livinus Nwankwo, in particular, has a duty to protect and defend the constitution from contravention or infraction. He was presented with an opportunity to return amaenye to the path of decorum. None of these happened and this has thrown Amaenye Ward of Ukpomili back to the path of Anarchy.

From feelers arising from their distrust, I learnt that the people no longer have the trust that UPA and its management can guarantee them a credible election if given the opportunity again.

They have called on the management of Ifitedunu Town Union (I.T.U.) to come to their aid in organizing a free, fair and credible elections in line with their constitution where members and every eligible aspirant and or candidates are assured level playing field to exercise their franchise without fear or favour.

Politics › The Ukpomili Village Land Dispute. by ChudiABC(op): 5:55pm On Aug 28, 2025
A contentious issue has arisen in Ukpommili village regarding land distribution, with distinct geographical locations associated with specific families or groups. The allocation is as follows:

- Umudunu: Ugwuadida.

- Igbu na Obinagba: Ugwuajilija Ndiagu.

- Amanye people: Abo land.

- Enuagu people: Ilo-Agunwa area, hosting the Kissa deity celebration.

- Iruogboo family: Ugwuajilija Ogboo (Ofiaudo).

- Iruezeoke people: Ugwu Ngene.

The dispute centers around the Ofiaudo land, belonging to the Iruogboo family, which is the sole contested territory. To resolve this matter, a fact-based approach is necessary to ensure equitable sharing within Umueze Ukpommili, similar to the land distribution among other families.

Concerns and Potential Consequences:

Using a high court judgment to grab and sell the Ofiaudo land without collective decision-making is unacceptable and may lead to further conflict. Land disputes can have far-reaching consequences, including:

- Displacement and Violence: As seen in the Bonta-Ukpute conflict in Benue State, land disputes can escalate into violence, displacement, and loss of life.

- Food Insecurity: Land disputes can also lead to food insecurity, as farming becomes impossible in affected areas.

- Community Cohesion: Land disputes can affect community cohesion and cultural identity, highlighting the importance of resolving these issues.

Resolving the Dispute:

To resolve the dispute, it's essential to...

- Adopt a Fact-Based Approach: Ensure that decisions are based on verifiable evidence and facts.

- Equitable Sharing: Ensure fair distribution of land within Umueze Ukpommili, considering the rights and interests of all parties involved.

- Community Engagement: Engage with the community to understand their concerns and work towards a mutually beneficial solution.

- Clear Land Demarcation: Define and record specific land boundaries for each family or group to prevent future disputes.

Politics › The Ofiaudo Ukpommili Land Dispute: A Call For Intervention: by ChudiABC(op): 7:09pm On Aug 27, 2025
The ongoing controversy surrounding the Ofiaudo Ukpommili land saga necessitates immediate intervention from key stakeholders, including the Chairman of Ukpommili, Igwe Ifitedunu (Dunu 2), and the President General of Ifitedunu.

At the heart of this dispute is the Uruogbo family's ancestral land, which has been embroiled in a contentious court case.

The Uruogbo Family's Contributions:

The Uruogbo family has made significant contributions to the development and progress of Ukpommili and Ifitedunu. Notable achievements include:

- Producing the first elected traditional Igwe of Ifitedunu... laying the foundation for progress in the area.

- Producing Nigeria's first minister from Ifitedunu... putting the town on the national and global map.

- Producing the youngest commissioner in Anambra State... bringing recognition to Ifitedunu

Concerns and Questions:

Despite these contributions, the Uruogbo family is being denied access to their ancestral land and excluded from the decision-making process regarding its sale. This raises several questions:

- What legal basis do certain individuals have to sell the land and distribute the proceeds without the collective consent of all three clans that own the land?

- Is it legitimate for a group to execute a high court judgment without adhering to its terms?

Need for Collective Decision-Making:

The sale of land without collective decision-making is unacceptable and contrary to standard practices.

In land disputes, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders, it is essential to prioritize collaborative decision-making to ensure fairness and equity.

Preservation of Late Eze Dunu 1's Palace:

Furthermore, the preservation of the late Eze Dunu 1's palace and its surroundings is crucial, considering the historical and cultural significance of the land. It is imperative that stakeholders prioritize the protection of this heritage site.

In light of these concerns, the Chairman of Ukpommili, Igwe Ifitedunu (Eze Dunu 2), and the President General of Ifitedunu must intervene to resolve this dispute and ensure that the rights of all parties involved are protected.

Politics › The Enduring Dispute: Ofiaudo Land And The Iruogboo Family's Rights. by ChudiABC(op): 4:36am On Aug 27, 2025
An examination of Dunukofia Local Government Area's geographical layout reveals a deliberate allocation of land masses to its constituent communities, namely Ukpo, Ifitedunu, Umunnachi, Umudioka, Ukwulu, and Nawgu, all purportedly descended from a common ancestry. This allocation pattern is also evident within Ifitedunu, where the five constituent units - Obieze, Ukpommili, Akwa, Umuanugwo, and Igbualla - occupy distinct territories as assigned by their forebears.

Notably, Ukpommili village adheres to this ancestral allocation system, with its various quarters, including Umudunu, Igbu na Obinagba, Amanye, Enuagu, and Iruezeoke, each having well-defined boundaries. However, a pertinent issue arises concerning the Iruogboo family's land, particularly the Ofiaudo land, which has been embroiled in controversy.

Some have posited that the Iruogboo family is regarded as "female" among the six component groups, but the veracity of this claim is dubious. The Ofiaudo land is unequivocally associated with the Iruogboo family. While the court's ruling linking the land to three families may have implications, the paramount concern for the Iruogboo family is their exclusion from discussions regarding the land's disposition.

The fundamental question remains: Were the Iruogboo family members adequately consulted or involved in deliberations concerning the sharing of the Ofiaudo land?

Politics › A Clarion Call To The Good People Of Ukpommili Village, Ifitedunu Community. by ChudiABC(op):
The Umueze Ukpommili Land Saga: Unveiling the Truth Behind the Land Known as "Ofiaudo" Land.

The Ofiaudo land, situated in Ukpommili village, Ifitedunu, has garnered significant interest due to its strategic location, being centrally positioned around the late HRH Igwe Okoye's palace (Eze Dunu 1), a member of the Uruogbo family. Regrettably, this land has been embroiled in a protracted court dispute, with an impending dialogue.

The Structure of Umueze Ukpommili:

Umueze Ukpommili is comprised of three wards in Ukpommili, specifically:

1. Enuagu family
2. Iruezoke family
3. Iruogboo family

These three families were involved in a court case concerning the Ofiaudo land, which resulted in a high court judgment ordering the sharing of the disputed land among the three families. Despite the Uruogbo family's appeal and the ongoing appeal court proceedings, certain individuals purporting to be leaders of Umueze have commenced selling the land without the consent of all wards. They have distributed the proceeds among themselves without regard for the Uruogbo family or notification to the family of the late Igwe Okoye (Ezedunu 1) prior to the sale of the land situated within the palace surroundings. The most recent substantial portion of land was sold, with plans to distribute the proceeds during this year's New Yam festival, excluding the Uruogbo family from any share.

Pertinent Questions:

Several questions arise from these actions:

1. What specific directives did the high court issue in its judgment?
2. Why the haste in selling the land without the consent of all three families involved?
3. How could the land be sold while the appeal court matter is still pending?
4. Given the high court case between Umueze and Iruogboo family, with Umueze advocating for land sharing among the three wards and Iruogboo arguing for sole ownership, what will be the outcome of the land sharing arrangement, particularly in light of the high court judgment favoring sharing among the three wards?

The Iruogboo Family's Plea:

A notification to prospective buyers of the Ofiaudo land:

Please be informed that there is an ongoing appeal court matter associated with the Ofiaudo land, and the parties involved have not reached any settlement regarding the land.

Attention.

- Chairman, Ukpommili People's Assembly
- HRM Igwe Ifitedunu
- President General, Ifitedunu

Politics › A Grave Disservice To The Legacy Of HRM Engr. Augustine Chukwuma Okoye. by ChudiABC(op): 4:26pm On Aug 26, 2025
The recent sale of the Ofiaudo land, situated prominently in front of the palace of the late His Royal Majesty Engr. Augustine Chukwuma Okoye, Eze Dunu unu 1 of Ifitedunu, has sparked widespread concern. A group of individuals, purporting to act under the authority of a high court ruling, has disposed of this significant landholding without apparent consideration for its cultural and historical importance.

In light of this development, it is pertinent to question whether the sale of such a strategic parcel of land aligns with the best interests of Ukpommili village. Rather than selling to outsiders, it would have been prudent for the community to deliberate on potential developmental projects that could have been undertaken to enhance the village's prospects.

The implications of this transaction extend beyond mere land ownership, as it touches on the revered legacy of the Eze Dunu 1 palace and the community's heritage. It is imperative that the relevant authorities scrutinize this matter to ensure that the rights and interests of all stakeholders are duly protected.

Politics › Our Community Is Under Threat. by ChudiABC(op):
By Omenyi 2.

Criminals are unscrupulous insignificant number of individuals who thrive from crime and corruption in every society. These days, their ability to organize themselves under different shades that seem to afford them some level of legitimacy and invisibility has made their easy detection a Herculean Task for crime fighters.

Thus, fighting corruption has become a perilous endeavor indeed, as evidenced by the experiences of Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Nigeria's former Finance Minister. Her experiences as reeled out in her book, "Fighting Corruption Is Dangerous: The Story Behind the Headlines," provides a firsthand account of the challenges and risks involved in combating corruption.

These risks involves:

- Physical Threats: Okonjo-Iweala's mother was kidnapped in 2012 by forces objecting to the government's reforms, particularly the crackdown on fraudulent oil subsidy claims. The kidnappers demanded Okonjo-Iweala's resignation on live television.

- Reputational Damage: Corruption can lead to smear campaigns and manipulation of public opinion, making it difficult for anti-corruption crusaders to maintain their reputation. Any Ifitedunu critical thinker can observe this closely in our current debacle. A closer look at the onslaught on one of us disguised as "INHERITANCE DISPUTE," whereby a brother's wife is been used as the launchpad for denigrating the family head via Pull-Him-Down Syndrome, is another vivid example. The said brother's wife and some masked goons, who made themselves willing tools, have been conscripted in this smear campaigns and hatchet job. Let us pay attention to see how this new antics unfolds.

- Powerful Interests: Corruption often involves powerful individuals and groups who will stop at nothing to protect their interests. They will go to any extent in their quest to bring down their perceived enemy. In fighting their target, they use all manner of aggressors including but not limited to people close to you including relations, friends and some significant others.

The fight against the Eze Dunu and the campaign of calumny against the incumbent President General of Ifitedunu Town Union are clear examples of their malfeasance.

▪️▪️▪️▪️

WHEN YOU FIGHT CRIME, CRIME FIGHTS BACK.

▪️▪️▪️▪️

But the society cannot stand with hands akimbo and let criminals overrun the community. Like the proverbial "Ogwumagana," scrupulous people cannot change their regal steps and forthrightness merely because the jungle is ravaged by an inferno. No. Good people must take over their society unperturbed by wanton threats from criminal elements and or their sponsors.

A case study of the resultant effect of non actions can be seen from the state of squalor and desolation enveloping those communities that willingly allowed criminal elements and non state actors to thrive in their villages and towns.

The Importance of fighting corruption despite the dangers, ranges from the promotion of transparency and accountability, creation of enabling atmosphere for empowering citizens to fostering stable economic Growth.

Finally.

In her fight against the plague of corruption in this country, we learnt from Okonjo-Iweala's experience that, for anyone to succeed in fighting and eradicating corruption considerably, the person must possess the following qualities.

- Determination and Courage:

Okonjo-Iweala's experience shows that fighting corruption requires determination and courage in the face of adversity and concerted attacks to her well being.

- Strategic Planning:

Anti-corruption efforts need to be well-planned and executed to minimize risks and maximize impact. This can be achieved through synergy with relevant and critical stakeholders in the fight against corruption and corrupt practices. For example, the EFCC which currently has vowed to beam their searchlights on Real Estate and Property Business, which they said is the contemporary means of Money Laundering can be co-opted where their intervention will be relevant.

- Support and Solidarity:

Having a strong support system and solidarity from like-minded individuals and organizations can help anti-corruption crusaders navigate the challenges. Security requires eternal vigilance. Thus concerned citizens and like minded individuals should come together to put a standstill to the hydra-headed monster of corruption in whatever guise, ravaging our homeland.

The war against corruption is an onerous and daunting task which requires concerted effort. If Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was able to succeed, we too, we will win.

The Mayor of Dunukofia is leaving no stone unturned in his desperate, over zealous and over ambitious pursuit to create a safe and peaceful Dunukofia. He has provided modern Hi-Tech gadgets and communication equipments including operational vehicles for fast, effective and efficient security networks and operations across Dunukofia towns. The Mayor of Dunukofia, Barr. C. C. Ozumba has maintained that only a secured and peaceful environment can give way to a habitable home as advocated by our governor and his Solution Team.

Our governor, Charlie Nwamgbafor has since called for a disruptive change -an uncompromising eagerness to turn things around positively; aimed to transfer Anambra into a prosperous, livable and pleasurable homeland.

This is achievable in Ifitedunu. We can make it happen. Ifitedunu shall succeed.

Career › Every Youth Should Have More Than One Skill by ChudiABC(op):
By Omenyi 2.

Today, I reminisce and nod my head, like the proverbial Agana Lizard in appreciation and sense of accomplishment.

During my formative years, my dad, Ichie Daniel Nwankwo Chiobi, Omenyiiluora 1 of Ifitedunu insisted I must learn almost every lucrative skills around us... Bricklaying, Capentry, Electrician, Plumbing, Mechanic, Artistry, Masonry,Desktop Publishing, Welding and capped it all with education in what I regard now as ivy schools. From New Layout Primary School II to Urban Community Primary School. Then from St. Augustine's Seminary to Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

My dad made sure I was excellent in both academic and morality.

He was able to achieve all these through a carefully but discreetly structured apprenticeship without my realization then. He was always insisting I assist in these jobs whenever the opportunity calls.

He always reminded me with a warning:

No condition is permanent and that opportunity comes but once.

To him, there is no asset greater than skills acquisition. And the more the skills, the more equipped one is to survive in our ever changing socioeconomic environment.

This is basically the moral lesson behind his usual counseling adopting our age long proverb that:

▪️"Ọkwa sịị ụmụ ya, onye tụta ji, ya tụtakwa mkpọlọgwụ ya, adị amama onye nwe ji abịa gwuru ji ya."

He used this proverb actually to teach - Adaptability. Here he emphasized the importance of acquiring multiple skills and adapting to new situations. He taught me that the future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in creative ways.

After all.

▪️"There are more ways than one to skin a cat."

This shows the importance of diversification of your skills.

My dad insisted that there are multiple ways to achieve a goal and having various skills can help you find alternative solutions.

He made sure I indeed become Jack-of-All-Trades but not master of none. A Jack of all trades should be at least a master of one. The implication is that having multiple skills can still be advantageous.

As a matter of fact.

▪️"Four eyes see more than two."

My dad used this proverb to highlight the benefits of collaboration and diverse perspectives, implying that having multiple skills or working with people who have different skills can lead to better outcomes.

Thus.

Equipping youths with skills and empowering those with verifiable skills already instead of handing them free handouts, is crucial for several reasons:

1. Self-Sufficiency: The youths become independent and self-sufficient, thereby reducing reliance on more handouts to survive.

2. Confidence: Highly skilled and motivated youths are able to take charge of their lives.

3. Employment: Skilled youths are more employable, contributing to economic growth and development.

4. Entrepreneurship: Skills foster innovation and entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for economic advancement.

5. Dependency: Relying on handouts can create dependency cycles. Skills break these cycles.

6. Sustainability: Skills ensure long-term sustainability, reducing reliance on temporary solutions.

Pay attention here.

Like my dad, all the policies and initiatives of the incumbent President General of Ifitedunu Town Union, Prof. Stephen Uchenna Ufearoh in collaboration with the Ifitedunu Royal Majesty, HRM Igwe Dr. Chukwuemekalum Ilouno, Eze Dunu is geared towards creating and raising a future Ifitedunu with a population of employers of labour not seekers of job. This is also the agenda of the Solution Team's "One Youth 2 Skills Initiative" by the Soludo Administration which the Mayor of Dunukofia, Barr. Chijioke C. Ozumba, Ifezulumba has domesticated into what he doled out as "Just One Youth (JOY)" Program.

In the "JOY Initiative," the Mayor of Dunukofia is targeting, equipping and empowering skilled and talented Dunukofia Youths to become entrepreneurs and employers.

All these are geared towards raising independent and self reliant youths for the benefit of the society at large.

By focusing on skills development, we can empower youths to become productive, innovative, and contributing members of society.

These are indicator towards a livable and prosperous state.

Politics › MISGUIDED PHILANTHROPY: Rewarding Laziness And Crime. by ChudiABC(op): 9:19am On Aug 19, 2025
All that anyone needs to be positively rewarded in Ifitedunu these days is to manifest and or exhibit high propensity for vices.

This is a very dangerous trend and its long term impact can lead to a catastrophe of unimaginable proportions.

A recent development has sparked widespread outrage and concern in our town. We have chosen to reward laziness and indolence, showering people of no mean value with empowerment opportunities. This misguided philanthropy raises serious questions about the values and priorities of our community.

By supporting individuals without any known history of occupation or any business or skill, our actions may inadvertently perpetuate a cycle of dependency and lawlessness. This approach not only undermines the rule of law but also sends a disturbing message that untoward and inappropriate behavior can be rewarded, rather than rehabilitated.

The Consequences.

1. Encouraging dependency: Rewarding laziness can create a culture of entitlement, rather than encouraging self-sufficiency and hard work.

2. Negative impact on society: This approach can have far-reaching consequences, potentially contributing to increased crime rates and social instability.

A Better Approach.

Instead of rewarding laziness and crime, philanthropic efforts should focus on:

1. Supporting education and job training programs.

2. Empowering talents and less privileged skilled individuals through sustainable initiatives.

3. Encouraging skill acquisitions through training and retraining.

Conclusion.

By redirecting resources towards these initiatives, we can create a more equitable and self reliant society, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and contribute positively.

Let's work together to promote a culture of responsibility, hard work, and community support.

The President General of Ifitedunu Town Union, Prof. Uchenna Ufearoh needs to be supported and encouraged in all his efforts towards raising and nurturing a new Ifitedunu with a future of independent adults.

Politics › The Dunukofia D-mayor Becomes Patroness. by ChudiABC(op): 7:48am On May 13, 2025
It was all jubilation on May 11, 2025 at Akwa Ward, Ifitedunu home of Hon. Mrs. Lilian Chinweze, the Deputy Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Area on her conferment as a PATRONESS by the Dunukofia-Njikoka-Aniocha Virtuous Women.

Speaking during the event, the spokesperson of the DNA Virtuous Women, a mutual help group, Hon. Mrs. Ann Okoyeagu expressed satisfaction with the involvement of the Deputy Mayor who she describes as a resilient selfless achiever into their fold. She went ahead to laud the Deputy Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Area for her bold step and reminded her that the benefit of her involvement with the group is both validating and empowering as the group is now more poised to surmount emerging challenges.

She elaborated that their group is an initiative of High Chief Engr. Chike Odoji is popularly called Obuteoraekee. According to her, Hon. Chike Odoji has singlehandedly advanced their course and supported their lofty objectives materially and otherwise.

Contributing, High Chief Engr. Chike Odoji, the promoter of the Support Group and a DNA Federal House of Representatives aspirant tasked the team to continue to build more capacity by reaching out especially to more critical stakeholders across the Constituency. This according to him, is the surest way of accomplishing their first task of achieving a resounding victory for Charlie Nwamgbafor in this year's November 18, 2025 Gubernatorial Elections.

Other speakers on the occasion includes the House of Assembly member representing the homogeneous indigenes and residents in Dunukofia Constituency, Hon. Chuks Azotani who lauded the quality of the membership of DNA Virtuous Women and attested to their proven record of electoral achievements.

Both High Chief Engr. Uchenna Malobi, the Secretary of Dunukofia Local Government Council, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibebugwu, APGA Dunukofia Youth Leader, Hon. Emeka Nwabunwanne, Ifitedunu Ward 2 Chairman, Hon. Francis Arinze, Supervisory Councillor in charge of agriculture and a host of other special guests were unanimous that having such women support group as DNA Virtuous Women at this critical time is both heart warming and confidence boosting as the impact of women in guaranteeing electoral successes cannot be overemphasized. They described contemporary women as the bedrock of every household which if properly galvanized, will translate to successes in all set goals.

In his vote of thanks, the visibly related husband of the new Patroness, Hon. George Chinweze popularly addressed as Soso-Jango appreciated his august visitors for the honour done to his heartthrob while also pledging his unalloyed support in all their undertakings.

You may recall that the DNA Virtuous Women as a support group comprising majorly astute ladies from Dunukofia, Njikoka and Aniocha Federal Constituencies is the brainchild of Hon. Engr. Chike Odoji also known as Obuteoraekee.

Hon. Chike has made his intentions to become the next Representative of DNA Federal Constituencies in 2027 elections public knowledge. He used the occasion to appeal to DNA Constituents to support Dunukofia exclusively as the coveted position has revolved around Njikoka and Aniocha indigenes only.

The highlight of the occasion was the investiture of new members by the amiable wife of the Mayor of Dunukofia, Mrs. Okwuchukwu Ozumba ably assisted by other dignitaries.

Politics › The Dunukofia T. C. Chairman Gifts Senator Wears To His Councillors by ChudiABC(op): 9:09pm On Jul 26, 2024
It is through first impressions that we define our personalities. Our dressing goes a long way to say who we are.

In fact, our dress sense gives people their first impression of our socioeconomic status; wealth, confidence and professionalism can be embodied in our choice of clothing.

Consequently, the Mayor of Dunukofia Local Government Area, Mr. Chijioke Clement Ozumba, Ifezulumba na Dunukofia has made available a custom tailored Senator Suits for all the Dunukofia Ward Councillors.

This is in line with his vision that a satisfied employee's job involvement is directly proportional to the level of satisfaction and encouragement derived from the workplace environment.

The Mayor had made several emphasis that the initial judgments people make about others can influence their long-term opinions about the person. He insisted that when meeting upper-level officials who hold the propensity to influence things, their initial impressions which usually are judged from how you appear can go a long way to sway the tide either in your favour or otherwise.

This is basically why he made this improvement of their wardrobe with promises to do more. He gave an indication that the second batch of these "Senator Clothing" is almost ready and will arrive anytime soon. He had enjoined the Councillors to always appear smart at any point in time and to equally make it a habit.

In a swift reaction, the Councillors appreciated Mr. C. C. Ozumba for making it possible for them to appear like "Senators."

Ifezulumba bialu olu.
