I want to share my testimony..

First of all i want to appreciate a great man...a business man who thought it good not to keep knowledge to himself, but touch lives and make an impact by helping others grow,,,,Chuddy baba...i hail you sir..

Now straight to my story...
I had given up on importation and the like in d past due to fear and indecision, till i stumbled on this thread again 2 weeks ago, and i seemed interested again...
I have a particular product i buy from an importer in Lagos and resell, and i started having high demands..

MONDAY 29/06/2015...Suddenly my importer says he is out of stock, and doesn’t even think he will restock till further notice...Choiii...and i had some demands already..

TUESDAY 20/06/2015...i suddenly remembered this thread, and thought about trying to import myself..TSarted searching and sourcing for suppliers of the product..

WEDNESDAY 01/07/2015...I got three suppliers, and eventually got in talks with one..we negotiated...went back and forth on cost and all....and eventually at the end of the day, i couldn’t see myself doing business with them...i didn’t lose hope..i kept on researching...

THURSDAY 02/07/2015....Searching for other products that could sell well and no too expensive, i stumbled on another seller of the initial product, we got talking and i was given very good prices, and even for samples....we reached an agreement on amount, ost and shipper..

FRIDAY 03/07/2015....I paid for samples via paypal....seller confirmed receipt ...arranges my items and ships it to shipper, nonikings.(Seller is in shezhen, nonikings in guangzou, so i will get to nonikings the next day)...

SATURDAY 04/07/2015....nonikings agent confirms receipt of package via whatsapp....i informed them i want expres shipping..

SUNDAY 05/07/2015...around 4pm, i got a text from nonikings that my package i available for pickup..

MONDAY 06/07/205...i pick up my item from nonikings lagos office........wow...impressive..
Bottomline is i actually shipped in samples...and i spent about 13k(Thirteen thousand naira), AND ALL THE TRANSACTION WAS DONE ON MY ANDROID PHONE, and as at today, just a day after, i have sold almost half, and i have made over the cost price...*winks*..
Anybody can succeed in this business, as long as you are ready to take risk, research well on the product you are buying(because it must be sellable with available market) and also keep getting hints from elders in the business..
Special shoutout to my mentors...Chuddy and Ymodulus....they were always available to give advice along the way, despite their busy schedule.

I hope my story is strong enough to push someone to take that bold step

My question pls. How do someone make use of transport bus to deliver item to buyer? E.g let SAY YOUNG SHALL GROW MOTOR. DO WE GO TO ANY OF THERE PARKS AND ASK FOR THE MANAGER AND negotiate on delivery? Hope they won't deny collecting any parcel from seller'

NOTE that this thread is for those who are selling in Nigeria OK.

They will not do that just go to their park and negotiate.

You going there when they have closed for business.
But before then make sure you have meet them before to tell them you have something you want to sell to them showing them sample. They will definitely ask you to comne back and will ask the security to open the door for you.

How much does tranex service cost.also, how much can one charge buyers for using tranex to send to them and also using local park pick up.do you negotiate the transport cost with the buyers after purchasing from konga or jumia.do you also package the product with jumia or konga packaging materials or you make use of your own materials.

How does tranex operates, do they transport product to customers in lagos or they also offer nationwide transport service to the door step of the customer

tranex gives nationwide delivery to door step.

on konga i allow Konga to handle shipping.

using park depends on the destination so as Tranex

A Chadian Public Prosecutor, Alghassim Khamis, said yesterday that one of the key Boko Haram leaders, Baana Fanay, who has been coordinating trafficking of weapons in Nigeria, Cameroun and Chad was arrested on Sunday in N’Djamena, the capital of Niger Republic.
Khamis said Fanay, alias Mahamat Moustapha, was arrested by security forces after a fierce resistance, reported AFP.


He said Fanay, who was arrested with two other terrorists, was responsible for the purchase of weapons and recruitment of fighters for Boko Haram.


The prosecutor said a search in the suspect’s house led to the seizure of different weapons and documents written in Arabic by Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, targeting the sect’s recruits.


He said the arrest also led investigators to discover the location of seven other terrorists hiding in a house in Diguel, a Dinguessou suburb, on the periphery of N’Djamena.


Khamis said a man believed to be the financier of the group was arrested and is under investigations.
He said the outcome of the investigation would help investigators to dismantle the Boko Haram network in the country.


Since the simultaneous attacks that killed 38 people and injured 100 others in N’Djamena on June 15, Chadian security forces have arrested 74 people suspected of involvement in the attacks.

i don't mean from china. I mean local nigeria transport to client who buy your product online via konga or jumia..how do you send what they bought from you to them.when someone buys your product via konga, you have to send it to them, which transport cou do you make used of to send to them

i send base on buyers request.

If the buyer want me to send directly to his home address than i will use tranex but if seller thinks the shipping cost is expensive then i will use transport service(that way the buyer goes to park to get it).

If a seller is not replying your messages then you should not transact with such sellers cause is a clear indication that they will not reply on time once you have a problem.

You have to start some where to reach your goal.

Honorables, been following you guys for quite a long time so if you guys would'nt mind telling me what 40pcs[what you do deal on/import], cause i've really been
cracking my brain to know what to import, whom to sell to by the grace of God i think won't be a problem to me. if someone can give me a piece of advice on what to import, i will be really grateful to that person. umm... money maynot really be an ish, have at least 40k+ to invest on this importation stuff. Thanks ya'll for all the contributions.

From your post you already said that whom to sell to will not be a problem that means you have a ready market.

So go ahead and import what they want.

But if what you are saying is that you will all you can to make sure you sell then that means you will really work way too hard because you don't have a ready market for it( its just like introducing a new product to the market)

What you focus on my dear is to find what a group of people want an then import it and sell.

I use Nonykings but you can use any one you prefer that will suit you.
There are many of them out there.
