Education / Re: Stop Sending Your Children For Holiday Lessons by Chuksgeo: 5:31pm On Aug 21, 2023
Jewessgratitud3:
Now I know where the problem is coming from. Parents!!!!!... Allow us breath!!!!

You claim summer lessons are not important or beneficial now but tomorrow you'll go and start complaining to the schools that your wards are not doing well in their studies and threaten to withdraw them meanwhile you're here discouraging what will help the school to help your wards excel academically

If a child cannot read and understand basic English, how will he thrive in other extra curricular activities?
If he can't solve maths, how will he be able to do quick mental calculations during the so called activities? I don't get it!

Little wonder why we teach from morning till noon still nothing sticks and they can't retain much in their memory because all you parents do is let them play throughout after school and on weekends and they come the following day/week with empty brains. Please!!!

Your wards need this lessons so they don't become mentally lazy and forget the little they were able to gain before they vacated so all the money you spent the previous term doesn't go to waste. Now, you coming here to discourage this simply means you don't care about their academics which is the leverage and foundation any child needs to climb the ladder of success in a system that works.

I'm shocked to say the least. To think this is coming from 21century parents who know very well that the moral standards of the society has dropped so badly that children no longer have interest in going to school and all they want to do is play and do social media. Na wa o.

You can use weekends to send them for creative activities not this long summer Biko. Before one pikin go come dey tell me, Miss, I'm in number A.

I am certain you are not a parent yet, and also that you have a financial stake in the so called holiday/Summer lessons (even when we don't have summer in the tropics), you don't even have an education background if you are actually a graduate hence you wouldn't be saying such meaningless things you typed up there.

Students and school children alike needs to develop their psychomotor skills and other extra-curricular abilities which also help to improve other parameters of their physical, social, spiritual and academic well-being, needless to say more, here's my recommendations to the Federal ministry of Education

Holiday lessons should be abolished
Kids should only start school at age 5
Extra curricular activities should be strictly imbibed and supervised in all schools

Politics / Re: Court Admits Evidence Showing INEC Server Had No Glitches On Election Day by Chuksgeo: 7:36am On Jun 20, 2023
9jatriot:
Perhaps someone could provide an explanation regarding this matter. How do any of these factors prove that Obi won the election?

His argument seems to suggest that if the results were not uploaded to iREV, the entire election should be canceled in order for his line of reasoning to make sense. However, I am trying to understand the basis of his argument, which implies that everything went well until the uploading process, without any indication of altered results in those units. He is solely relying on the fact that the results did not upload to claim victory.

I have mentioned before that Obi, along with his lawyers and associates, is aware that he did not win, which is why he is not even attempting to demonstrate his victory and is solely focusing on the issue of iREV not functioning properly.

Nonetheless, INEC should provide a proper explanation as to why that aspect did not work.

Can you listen to yourself, are you really making sense with what you are saying, psycophant!

Victor Oye destroyed APGA in 2019 outings with greed that's why Edozie Njoku who actually was APGA's first vice national chairman with Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu as chairman in 2003 has to come and Rescue APGA because APGA was dieing as a result of greed and lack of selfless leadership, that's why Soludo was bold enough to attract opposition to APGA having pitched his real loyalty to APC..

These are the rightful owners of APGA including the Chekwas et all, Soludo should go and settle fast fast oh before matter go burst, shebi he thought he was full proof

Did you notice that the reason for the strike was not given

So they just went on strike

Imolites should be vigilant

I smell the hand of the supreme court governor in this!!!

Actually it was the supreme court governor's interference in NLC elections that caused the strike in the first place, in fact the strike is state wide not just EEDC , the supreme Court governor wants his evil nails in everything happening in dear IMO state, probably for fear of loosing the elections etc, so much insecurity down there

The e-hailing services will now become less attractive because politics will begin to influence a lot of things, for example NURTW will hustle to bring them under their umbrella, prices might affect both service providers and customer/clients/passengers.
Whichever way, there will now be many more pros and cons

These three men are wolves especially that chikwem Onuoha, that man is a viper and very dangerous, the people of this constituency must avoid him at all cost, as for Obinna Onwubuariri he should let another try, he first outing was a complete disaster and a big disgrace and that's why people didn't mind when he lost to a more credible candidate in that re-election. Finally as for Okezie, he should look well, the issue of god fatherism in Okigwe North has caused more harm than good in the constitutency, the likes of chikwem Onuoha and Ararume parading thugs openly unchallenged.

What is Ikpeazu doing there, please for whatsoever he must not be associated with this movement, we are Igbos we don't condone monumental failures former governors like OUK, TA Orji, Chinwoke Mbadinuju, Rochas Okorocha and Martins Elechi are existential failures to the origin of the Igbo race, there is nothing good they will ever be remembered for hence the need not associate with Igbos or form of progressiveness with the Igbos

Education / Re: FG Committee Recommends ₦ 2 Millions Monthly Pay For Professors by Chuksgeo: 12:16pm On Jul 15, 2022
socialmediaman:
The average salary of a college professor in America is about N4 million naira monthly plus or minus (using N500 to $1)

The average cost of a 2 bedroom apartment in America is about N7 million annually, while the average cost in Nigeria (Lagos mainland) is about N700,000 annually

So based on this very simple comparison, why does a college professor in Nigeria want to earn half the salary of an American college professor when his expenses and standard of living are over 10x less?

Likewise, why would a Nigerian politician earn 6-7 times what American politicians earn. Even a councillor in Nigeria earns more comfortable than a Nigerian professor

Peter Obi and Buba Marwa are the only two politicians I can go out to vote for. Both have two things in common. First, the welfare of the people they govern and secondly they are very capable administrators.

I can never vote for Tinubu. Grand thief and leader of Agberos who oppress the poor market women, bus drivers and okada riders one one hand then also collects tax from all corporate workers through Alpha-Beta on the other.

Therefore, all Lagosians remit a portion of their daily sweat to Tinubu the self acclaimed Godfather.

Now imagine this Tinubu's extortion on a Federal scale...with the power of the military and police at his control- una own don finish pata pata.

Buba Marwa that stole my uncle's property in Lagos and gave it to one of his concubines and the woman used it to build a hotel today. My uncle complained and he was sacked from the NCS for no single reason today without any benefits,
