Hmmm, Naija my corn3, has it gotten this bad that someone, a full grown man's life is worth less than a hundred and fifty naira (#150), who do us this thing abeg?
Why must you lots always add tribalism in any of your comments? The hausa traders have been exposed times without number over same issue. We can never get it right as a nation if we forget the motto of our national coat of arms, " UNITY, PEACE AND PROGRESS"
We are now marrying foreign men with brains for innovations and technologies not like dull Nigerian men who only know how to Rap£, kidnap, steal, drink ogogoro, gamble, smoke and do Cultism
Nigerian men are just Use_less to be honest...... All of them
That include your DAD, UNCLES, BROTHERS AND NEPHEWS, right?
Glimpsetv: There is absolutely nothing like that around. It's still outside the building where I prepared for it. It appeared cold, so I kept it in a warm corner outside. I have put some crumbs of fruit, semo powder, water, and milk in a bottle cap there, but I checked this morning and it didn't seem to have eaten anything yet. It still can't fly.
Right now, I don't know what else to do with it, and I would hate to see it die.
It's a chick and can neither fly nor feed on its own at the moment, it needs the assistance of the parents to feed it or since it had wondered away from home, the best bet is to hand feed it, but none of the edibles you provided is good for the little guy, it mainly feed on insect, as for the grain, that might come in when it is a little older but for the now, if you can get grasshoppers, cricket and the likes, just present it towards the beak and it will open its mouth in readiness to accept it, accompany that with water by dipping your finger into water and dropping it on the beak, it will immediately suck it up. If it fails to open it's mouth when presented with the treats, it simply means that the little guy is SICK. Good luck!
Glimpsetv: What Kind of Bird Is This? What Is It Called?
I found this bird in my compound this morning. It was sitting on the ground without moving. When I tried to get closer, it only jumped forward instead of flying. I suspect it might be sick or injured. I lifted it onto this bucket cover to see if it would fly, but it just stayed there, staring at me. That's a sparrow chick not capable of flying yet, check around your building, below the roof level for any clay mould on the wall or crevice, the nest it fell from is definitely within the parameter of where you found it
Do you perhaps know what this bird is called and how to care for it until it can fly away? It is a very beautiful bird, and I would be hurt to see anything bad happen to it. Please suggest how you think it can be cared for until it is strong enough to fly away.
Promise47: God Almighty forbid I understand it's there culture but common dead body way suppose day mouger or coffee hmmm Ghanaian una matter go taya oh
Nakuza: The jukun wapan tribe in Taraba State does the same thing to their king known as Aku. They believe their King don't die only transcend to the world beyond. The shocking thing is that they don't bury their King.
Out of curiosity though, what do they do with the corpse, EMBALMED?
optm: It is a shame how nairaland allows tribal bigotry to continue despite complaints from its users. It's only a matter of time, sane individuals would stop visiting this forum. I feel irritated when i see topics unrelated to any particular tribe and some users find a way to bring in their hate for certain tribes or ethnic group. @Seun keep allowing your forum to be used as a platform in spreading hate and turn a blind eye to it you hear!! When the hate matures and things go out of control quickly, i hope those fanning this flame would be the first to get consumed
My brother, gone were the days when nairaland was a learning ground, those days, one can't afford to miss a day without visiting the forum, if you check my time of registration herein, you will know I've been here long enough, even at that, I was a visitor for more than five years before I was able to get registered; today, every Jack,Dick and Harry get access easily, especially most of these uncultured jobless swines looking for either tribal or religious warfare on a faceless forum. Those days, NL was the envy of so much neighbouring countries, then we have expatriates in abundance in our midst, some of the well-known MODS were people based outside Nigeria but today what do we have, MODS that turns blind eye on issue capable of causing national disaster, but do as little as fart inhere, you get banned for it, several occasions I have tried to bring this happenstance to the MODS notice but nothing was done about it. The most painful of it is when they see people making fraudulent posts on different sections which are very vivid, they still turn the other way as if they partake in the largesse made from it. All I have to say is that it is well
Small talk in here, some people herein have turned it to TRIBAL WAR, smh, how did we get here? We can never get it right by means of tribal bigotry, the reason why our politicians are playing us and taking us for granted
What are the names of the culprit, pastor no name, no church and no address or location of the happenstance? Save us the haberdasher of your half baked story
All Nigerian men know how to do is s*x, kidnapping, ritual and cultism. No Brain for innovations and technologies like the Europeans He just killed a promising young girl with a very bright future
It shall never be well with Nigerian men
Jennyclay, even if you use a thousand and one monikers, we still know you
Well analyzed facts here sir. Police and security bodies in the above mentioned axis, the ball is in your court now as the op just gave a head on hints about a possible reason to the gruesome rape and murder in the above mentioned vicinity.
Fineman2: Sad, she didn't leave any note stating her reason for such action
According to the police, that she left a suicide note in her bag before taking her life, but you and I knows too well that such notes can also be manipulated. Well, let's wait for the police report on the conclusion of their findings based on their investigation
Owlumeday: You do have a great point, apart from the GMO part which i disagree with.. there is nothing genetically modified in noiler. The right term would be genetically improved.
I admit it was a wrong choice of words as nothing could come up to mind in order to drive home the message as at the time of the write up, my bad I must say... but the good thing is that the message was understood clearly
Owlumeday: GMO stands for genetically modified organism.. which means actively altering the genome of an organism by knocking out or adding a new gene that was previously not inherent in the organism. example is the glowing mice. Your explanation points at heterosis and not GMO

Why do I have this feeling that OP is an agent of one of these Chinese loan sharks defaming a fellow country man over inability to repay back a loan. If you doubt my assumption, kindly put a call across to the number provided, to ascertain what he actually stole from him that got him/her this pissed off. We know how they work with defamation of one's character
