I am a Lawyer. Usually, lawyers are supposed to be this loquacious lots. I am the reverse, I am laconic. I fear I may not do so well in court room advocacy compared to born extroverts.

I ditched court room advocacy/litigation for Property & Corporate Practice. That way, I get to do my job with the least chance of interaction with random strangers. My job is mostly paper works and electronic so, I am either working alone in the office or hopping from one government office to the other.

When alone, I work better and faster.
I feel you bro. I work in finance currently and i seem to get more done when i come alone on weekends. I've had to come out of my shell because of work too, so i totally understand.

If you don't mind having a new friend, I'd say let's connect.

This is exactly me. I could change my route or abort a trip so as not to meet/greet people I know.

I might be the one with the most knowledge about a topic in a discussion but I would rather keep mute and listen to the "rubbish" everyone else is saying. I feel that trying to get my point across to you is futile and that you are beyond redemption in your beliefs, either due to arrogance or ignorance.

My best companion is my cell phone. I keep a super small circle of "close" friends, just 2. I categorize others as "people I know" grin .

I also feel that I am a perfectionist to a fault. I like doing my things myself as I feel no one else can do it the way I want it.

I sweat in my palms and feet a lot. I am more sociable on virtual platform than in real life. You wouldn't believe the talkative you interact with online is this same quiet guy sitting in front of you.

I avoid making/receiving phone calls as much as possible. I prefer we chat.

I am shy but I put up this bold facade whenever I need to and you may likely not notice (my job demands that).

I can stay indoors 24/7 provided I have food, water, data and power. (Whenever I travel home, my family literally begs me to step out).

I can embark on a 12 hours trip without saying a word to the person sitting next to me and may likely not contribute in the general discussion.( I can bore you cheesy )

Etc.

In all these, I make exceptions whenever I want to or whenever absolutely necessary but the above is me by default. I am a hardcore introvert. Alone time is bliss and I am so rocking this lockdown like it is nobody's business. grin cheesy
My person grin
In what field do you work?

You are right. The one I saw live and direct.... Was the one where some put just one cup of rice and by the time to watch the right it was almost 5 cups (in terms of quantity). I was the one that fetched the one cup from her neighbour since they were quarrelling. I sat there with her during the cooking. I remember when I wanted to lash her. She said na 4 people you wan lash o u get the strength. I fled

Dunno what's wrong sometimes with me, i love being alone, i express myself freely when alone or with someone i trust, in my undergrad years i dont talk, neither do i answer questions in class even when i knew the amswers, they called me the night crawler cuz i still came out with good grades after each semsester, i avoided meetings involving few or large numbers of persons. Sometimes I pray certain pple dont call me, and when i call, i hope they dont pick so i wont be bothered... Im 26 and still doing all these.
Lol. We need to be friends grin

Mine is not really the weird story but his aura remains a mystery till date .
Back then in University, SOJ was a kind guy, very brilliant and was quite funny.
He had a way of making the most bittered person around him crack a smile, how he does that we don't know. Also, he was someone who would share his last card with you in time of need and tell you not to worry about him.
There was an incident in our dreaded managerial Economics test ,the lecturer, a widely acclaimed sadist caught him opening his leaflet for a guy seated next to him. The man tore their slips and summoned them to his office. We were scared for him but he was calm. Few of us (class rep & asst , the best student, and i (we were hallmates) had to follow them to the lecturer's office to plead. When we got there ,the man told us to stay aside while he questioned the two of them .At a point, it seemed like Heaven was about to break loose but how SOJ brought that situation under control is still beyond today. The lecturer who never smile in class started laughing out loud and told them he had forgiven them after 20 mins, we were all excited for we knew the kind of person the lecturer was.
SOJ was the kinda person that knows how to cheer people up in time of difficulties, hurt and disappointments. You can't but have a good laugh whenever you're around him, to the extent that the Super religious-don't mix with sinners amongst us loved to sit around whenever he's cracking a joke . He was loved by all, even the hard -to -crack lecturers /non teaching staffs on campus .Sadly, his life was cut short at 21, during his final year. When the news broke about his death, everybody cried, even our Scarfaced HOD. That's to tell you the sort of influence he had on everyone.

SOJ, the street misses you !!!!
Why am i feeling the loss even though i don't know him? cry

Had an encounter with this pretty blind girl at Enerhen junction... The way she goes about helping her mom who's selling food by the roadside, you would think she's a general overseer...

I watched her from a distance and noticed something about her and it got my attention, she refused anyone who wants to help her out with what she was doing... From picking the plates to gathering the vegetables her mother use...

So, I decided to try her, I got to her mother's stand and ordered for a plate of starch and Banga soup, while the mother was at it, my full attention was on this young lady and this time she was busy transferring hot soup from a big pot to the thermacool cooler, I was shocked how she did that without any drop of soup touching the floor...

Then she did what surprised me and some people, her mom gave me the food I ordered and she walk to her mom with the aid of her stick and told her that she should reduce my portion because I was was not hungry and I only came there to verify if she was truly blind and she said all these with a smile on her face... Everyone burst into laughter at the busy Enerhen junction, I smiled, but I was shocked how she got that perfectly.
Why did you deactivate?
It's possible she can read minds.... You can't completely rule it out, as a lot of supernatural things are coming to light in recent times.

I've been having fun going 2ru the thread. I also have some weird characteristics. People even complain about some
1. My phone is always on silent, I miss calls a lot, purposely ignore some.

2. I don't watch films with pple, I will be bored and eventually sleep off. I forward movies a lot( I can watch 2hrs film in mins) but I read bout these movies on Wikipedia b4 or after watching so I can understand dem better

3. I talk to myself a lot( in a very strange way), simulate things in my head and I'll start laughing bout it or sometimes I'll reminisce bout a funny event and start laughing bout it, jumping and running about too

4. Once I see pple, I always remember their face, where I saw dem 4 d first time, d clothes dey wore, their first words to me or any other significant thing that happened

5. Sometimes I have this weird sense of Deja vu, like I'm reliving a particular moment. A day like dat, I was outside in my hostel, I had dis feeling again, told my friends a bike man was coming and he's going to be putting on a funny sunglasses and lo it happened
Yup, this is me point for point.
