Given that you have read the books, I'd expect you to be more understanding than you've shown.
It would be unfair to compare WoT to GoT because the two shows are so dissimilar. The first is loosely based on historical politics, while the second is based on religion so their structures are vastly different.
Adapting books with a major theme of magic, in my experience, is extremely difficult because there are no real-life parallels to draw from or ground them in. Give the show more mileage; if the high production value is considered, it's only a matter of time before it comes good.

Do you think you're going to get some action right away? Shows like WoT take a long time to get going because world building takes a lot of time. If you give it time, the world-building will eventually pay off. In the meantime, spend some time getting to know the characters and the world they live in. You'll be glad you did, trust me.

I've never been one to open up to people. I'm what you call a working story.
If I meet a person, I literally can detect what impression you have of me and I'd total my fabricated life's story to that end.
I don't think I even know who I am. Other than the fact that I can fabricate stories. I literally love when folks think the worst of me. Don't know why but I love it.
People love to hear the misery of others. And i can cook up as many self loathing tales outta my ass for them to fill a football pitch and then I sit back and laugh when they start spreading those tales of my supposed misery.

Told a close colleague I'd be resigning and moving to a new job gave him details about the new company, colleague legit sorted out my prospective employer info, and called them to inform them that he's also interested in the job and he has more to offer than me, since he's has more experience , dude also told them I lied about my achievements, new HR called me to inquire, I was shocked but the HR told me ,I need to be careful about whom I speak to about my job searched until I've signed an agreement.
Colleague also reported to my line supervisor who has made life really hard for me, even though I know about his betrayal I've never mentioned to him that I knew what he did, instead I just wonder how callous people can be, he constantly ask about the status of my new job and consoles me whenever my supervisor acts up.

I saw his series some years back online, but I thought maybe half of the Wheel of Time series I saw were other non-associated books but of same Author.
Wo, na the show I go use brush up.
Too many other Fantasy books to check before their film adaptation.
There's the GOT books and the LOTR books. Now WOT. Percy Jackson series is also under development from Disney.
