Not the drivers for your sim card, but the drivers for the sim slot reader. Check device manager for the hardware device and see if drivers are already installed.
Or download slimdrivers to check for missing drivers.

Have you downloaded the drivers for your sim card slot and do you have the right sized sim card?
NB: You must have a generous data plan to use sim card feature
