When Former Chocolate City Singer and that guy everybody admits is good released the name and official album art to his new album, he definitely got a lot of people talking. Its offensive many agreed, who calls the name of their Album Klitoris? The album art which was designed in the USA shows a half nude woman with the skull of an animal over her face, flower petals covering her breast with her arm akimbo. Brymo revealed the petals had to be put later in Lagos after ITunes rejected the original on the basis that the Art was pornography. “It is art, some might find it to be creepy, but it is just art” he added. He also revealed the concept behind the 11 track album which features his girlfriend and baby mama Esse on the first song, Naked. He revealed it was meant to be sensual as everybody had predicted, but there ought to be two sides to a coin. So what’s the other side to this? He said the word Klitoris(clitoris) is a Greek word for Key and the album is supposed to be the key to a particular door he has knocked on for years. On listening to the album, we finally admit the album was definitely meant to be sensual. Brymo delivered sensual pleasure to our ears with a mixture of Yoruba, pidgin English and English. The album was a love story In Naked Brymo went deep into his soul and when he closed the song with your ‘’…love I don’t deserve it/ take all I have please/ love me/leave me naked,’’ you have no doubt what he is craving for. He continued the love story in Ko saya mi and albeit it is in Yoruba, anybody regardless of their race and language they speak would feel the love in his voice Happy memories still riffs on love as he reminisces on happy moments shrouded in love. Alajo Shomolu sounded like something the legendary Fela Anikulapo-Kuti would do, from the beat to the lyrics and the message it reeked of class. I dey sing e song o,/e dey sweet like sugar/oya dance roll your waist/I go from grace to grass/ back to grass to grace/ life na roller ahhh… In Mirage Brymo waxes philosophical as he reflects on life. On the highway of life, I see reflections from a distance/see them walking on water/ the closer I get the faster it fades away. Still musing on his life, he talks about why he sings in Billion Naira Dream, and while this song sounds somewhat different from the usual Brymo sound, he didn’t fail to pass his message across. I am telling stories/in the song I sing/ searching for glory in the life I live/ to help me feel the future that I see/ to make come true a billion naira dream. But what is love and life and poetry without reality? This singer has never shied away from the politics of Nigeria. He is known to be quite vocal about issues and in Dem dey go, he proffers a maybe solution to Nigeria. He starts off with a story ‘Once upon a time/some people come together’ before going on explain how these people took a chance, made a pact but then started fighting. ‘they plan took a chance/made agreement between one another/dem dey go/ dem they fight, dem dey quarrel/dem dey go. Our story teller then gives them a solution, if you can’t stay together, everyone should go their separate ways. ‘I tell them if dem no want stay make dem go their separate ways.’ It’s amazing how Brymo could deviate from the usual Nigerian music that lacks content and still deliver an Album everybody would love. The album is definitely a 9/10 only because Naeto C has taken the 10/10 tag. SOURCE:http://www.naijasauce.com.ng/album-review-klitoris-by-brymo-2/

Whether or not you are getting your work done, it’s important to look busy. If you look like you’ve got a lot of downtime at work, people might think you are expendable; here are some great tips to looking really busy, even if you’re not . . 1. Always walk around the office briskly and Often with a sense of urgency. It doesn’t matter where you’re going: a meeting, the bathroom, or on some random stroll around the office. When you walk the halls, keep a brisk pace. If someone tries to stop you for a chat, give that person a quick hello or wave without missing a step. You’re too busy to talk and can’t waste one second lollygagging around. 2. Always keep a stack of paper or binders in your hand while away from your desk The papers can be blank, or the binder empty. It doesn’t matter. No one will know. Better yet, stuff the papers into the binder. Either way, it will look like work. This is especially important when hanging out at a coworker’s cubicle or workstation. An armful of paper makes it looks like you’re talking about work when you’re really just talking about how wrong America was for not choosing your favorite person to win the Voice. 3. While at your desk, run the tape on your adding machine with random calculations (if applicable). Not only does it make you look busy, it makes you sound busy. Rip the tape off and sigh loudly every few minutes to make it seem like you’re working diligently to solve some major problem. 4. Stare intently at your computer screen. Keep your hand on the mouse and click three quick times. Then feverishly type on your keyboard. Repeat. To be even more convincing, open an email draft and start typing stuff. Create a shopping list or something. 5. Constantly write things on Post-it notes. This is works if you don’t use a computer at work. You can use them to jot down that shopping list or a playlist you want to create on your iPod. Perhaps you want to practice your signature or come up with a list of potential names for the kids you plan to have one day. Or, maybe you just want to doodle. Whatever you do, keep that pen moving. Make sure at the end of the day to collect all your notes. You don’t want any evidence of your busy work laying around for prying eyes. 6. Wear your glasses. Even if they’re just for reading, keep them on. Always. And if you don’t need them, buy a fake pair. Busy people wear glasses. 7. Don’t talk. Don’t say a peep. If a coworker calls your name, ignore her. When she comes to your desk, pop your head up from your pad of post its, computer monitor, or adding machine with a surprised look on your face. Apologize and explain how all this work has made you completely oblivious to world. 8. Use your cell phone to call your desk phone. Answer it and carry on a fake conversation. Keep it brief and throw in a “right, yes, and ok” every few words or so. End the conversation with “I’ll get right on it”, and clumsily hang up the phone. Throw in one of those loud sighs for good measure. It seems the boss has just assigned you with yet another project that is sure to keep you busy for the rest of the day. 9. Type and Scribble Furiously Whether you are doing actual work, finishing up your shopping list, or chatting with your mates, you should always be typing or scribbling furiously. Because you are a busy person and you need to finish this task as fast as possible to move on to the next . . . 10. Do some actual work..but not too much Use this as a last resort. When all else fails, do a little work. But don’t spread yourself too thin! Easy there, tiger. Don’t do today what can wait until tomorrow. Hilarious comedy “Ghana Must Go” is directed by multiple award-winning filmmaker, Frank Rajah Arase and stars Nkem Owoh (aka Osuofia), Yvonne Okoro, Kofi Adjorlolo, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ik Ogbonna,Helen Paul and Ada Ameh. The plot is set in city of Accra, Ghana with the story revolving around two young lovers who are of Nigerian and Ghanaian descent. Ama (Yvonne Okoro), is a London-based Ghanaian lady who brings her Nigerian boyfriend, Chuks (Blossom Chukwujekwu), home to meet her parents much to the chagrin of her father. Not surprisingly her parents refuse to support to their relationship, owing to past events involving the neighboring countries. This movie is a romantic comedy that gives viewers a unique plot. It tries to tell an important part of Nigerian history at the same time fusing comedy and romance. It also focuses on a relatable issue that many young people are faced with; dealing with their parents’ choice of which tribe or religion to marry from. That is the main theme of the movie “Ghana Must Go.” However, this movie seems to fuel the stereotype of making a ‘village girl’ seem like a halfwit as they did that with Helen Paul’s character. The most wonderful part of the movie is definitely scenes with Nkem Owoh and Kofi Adjorlolo, who are bursting with so much humor and are charming with their talent. They make some of the scenes funny, and are genuinely funnier than most other actors. The same cannot be said about Ik Ogbonna’s interpretation of his character. Even though he does manage to bring about some few funny and scenes, he seems to try so hard to be funny, and ends up over doing his part. Helen Paul was definitely the Debbie Downer of this movie with here depressing role which was not funny at all, and had no significance to the plot. There’s not much Chemistry to feel between Blossom Chukwujekwu and Yvonne Okoro’s characters, however they complemented each other and manage to give us some good moments. The two wonderful actors did a good job of implementing their characters, enough to capture the heart of viewers. Finally, “Ghana Must Go” scores 70 percent, and will totally be worth your time and money. SOURCE:http://www.naijasauce.com.ng/movie-review-ghana-must-go/
