I am an HR Professional and new to this group.

Please guys I need urgent assistance in the area of setting KPI's and how it is used to evaluate performance. I have done a lot of reading on KPIs but most of the resources are foreign which gets me even more confused.

Good Day guys,

I have an employee whose employment i need to terminate at the end of this month. the problem is this guy still has some unclaimed annual leave from last year and some for this year.

An HR person i spoke with says i will have to pay him double for the unclaimed leave if i am terminating his appointment at the end of this month.

Please guys what is your take on this or what is the acceptable practice by law. I know i can send him on leave and terminate his appointment when he returns but i will still like to know what the case would be if i terminate his appointment at the end of this month.
