The OP needs help like words of encouragement to push further and not hurtful words like yours.. We all have challenges of life in one way or the other but then how you manage to handle yours and come out of it may not be the same with the other person(s). The essence of him coming to share his problem here is to get advice and get encouragement or maybe a solution to his problems and not to be weighed down by hurtful words. People like you are the reason(s) why people don't share their problem for fear of rejection and compounding to their problems...
I pray that you don't experience an inch of what he is passing through and if you do experience it I also pray you come out of it without considering suicide or something of that nature as your option and I also pray you have good friends that can help you go through it...

An inside source said ASUP had barred all lecturers from registering for part time.

2013 was the year Jamb was merciless with her candidates. I didn't prepare for the exam. So i didn't make up to the cut of mark for university. So i settled for Polytechnic. I had the popular federal polytechnic i choose in lagos runs part time program which is same duration with full time. The only difference is the high fee. As i was alreading working and making little salary that can sustain me through the program. I made up my mind to settle for PT and i will run HND as FT in order to be able to serve. After registration and all necessary payments. I realized the program will take a whooping 3years to conclude just for ND.

My first year in the school was good as i had Distinction. A GP above 3.50 . The result gave me hope and a reason to just hang on with the program. I still maintained the result till now. But the problem is the school calender is too slow and they don't even giv a shit about part timers. The lecture pattern is poor (we know how to cope though). But it seems a program that was supposed to take 2years but eventually extend to 3 is eventually going to take 4 whooping years which i would have used to round up a B.SC program. Am an engineering student though. We were supposed to resume for ND3 January 2016 but the school shocked us with this...

The person on the other end of the phone told me i should come do registration immediately as the semester is rounding up already. I went to the location he described only to find out it was a private primary school. I was convinced that the program is a two years Diploma program and with good result i will port to the main campus to continue from 200level. The locationof the place is somewhere in Lagos while the main campus is in Ogun. I felt convinced to do the program due to my missing subject in WAEC. Maybe this is an opportunity to skip that GCE ish i said to myself. Anyway i did the program for two years and finished with Upper Credit. After getting the certificate i went to the main campus to check the authenticity of the paper, only to be told it can never be used for direct entry, that the only way to continue my education is to go for Higher Diploma in same inferior school. I eventually settled for Jamb in 2013.

I was an outstanding student in my secondary school days (maybe till now). I was picked in SSS3 to represent my school in a scholarship exam which i did well. After WAEC in 2009 i worked to make make some money to raise money for GCE because i had a "D" in a subject in WAEC. Well, even if i didn't fail a subject in WAEC i would still have worked to raise money for my well-being as i wasn't born with silver spoon.

The year which i want to take GCE came which was 2010. But i didn't take it cos i got a message that i have been choosen to study in a popular state university in Nigeria. I was happy and dialed the number that sent me the message immediately. But that call was the beginning of my problems. Had i know!!!

Have you ever been in a situation when you feel like ending it all. As in, you feel like taking your own life. I will be sharing a story which have gotten me to the stage where i feel leaving from here. I just have to open a new moniker to share this. I need help in terms of advice before i pick any of these option
