The CLEEN Foundation is recruiting a proven professional to lead its programmes work in Lagos. The successful candidate will have at least four years relevant experience in the areas of project development/management, fundraising, public policy advocacy and relationship building/management with government agencies, donor partners, media and civil society organizations. Fluency (written and spoken) in English is required.

Position Profile

Position: Programmes Manager - Lagos
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Reporting to: Executive Director

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Leading the implementation of programmes in the Lagos office.

Developing, fundraise and implement, in collaboration with the executive director and program staff, new projects in pursuance of the mission of CLEEN.

Coordinating public policy advocacy of the Lagos office

Building and managing existing relationship between CLEEN Foundation and government agencies, development partners, media and civil society organizations.

Working in close partnership with program teams in the Abuja and Owerri offices to develop

Candidate Profile

Key Experience:

• A minimum of four years of relevant professional activity in development work

• Demonstrable experience in project development, management and fundraising

• Strong understanding of key concepts, issues and thinking in public safety, security and criminal justice reform in West Africa

• Experience in building and managing relationships with government agencies, donor partner’s media and civil society organizations.

• Proven record of team building and cross-group collaboration.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in social sciences, humanities and law or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Excellent written and spoken English.

50 seater air conditioned hall suitable for learning and all sorts of meetings; standby generator, projector, screen, magnetic board and adequate parking space. It is ideal for Board Meeting, Conference/Meeting, Business Meeting, Church Event, Launches, Team-building and special presentation.

Our reception halls offer indoor kitchens, toilet, and rooms to change attire. our rates start at N20,000 from 8am - 5pm on Monday - Friday. you don't need to cleaning up after the event we will do that for you. Our Hall can hold up to 50 people.

price includes tables, chairs, security, and a bartender, price does not include drinks , table covers or silverware. You can use your own caterer for food, kitchen and we can help you get one.

If rental is cancelled 5 or more days before the event N20,000 is refunded, under 3 days no money is refunded if event is cancelled.

The hall is also available for church programme and Sunday services



Meeting Room – 15 seater air conditioned hall suitable for learning and all sorts of meetings; standby generator, projector, screen and magnetic board. Our rates start at N10,000 from 8am - 5pm on Monday - Friday.

Guess House – 3 bed room guess house with standby generator and self catering facilities.

Projector - We know there are plenty of things to worry about when planning training events or other special occasions we rent out projector. We provide projector for events purposes such as: Training, Seminar, Workshop, Press Conference, Meeting, Office presentation, Product presentation (Celebrants, Individual, Trainers, Public Speakers, NGO’s, Barrister, Clubs, Schools and Companies).

“Project Development Cycle Training course” designed by CLEEN Foundation provides ample opportunity for human rights activists, practitioners and advocates, community based organizations, development partners, public and private organizations/servants and governmental agencies to acquire the necessary skills required for quality service delivery. It is packaged for organizations and anyone with curiosity and interest to undertake research and development activities. Fundraising can be part of our local staff work if they are well trained in seeking and managing information.

Proposal writing poses many challenges, especially for small and unskilled NGOs. In just five working days experts within the sector will take you through the theoretical and practical aspects in project development cycle, equip you with the fundamental skills required to conceptualize, develop, plan, implement, report and measure the impact of the project using modern measurement and evaluation tools. The overriding aim of the training is to build your capacity to develop new thinking and approach for greater effectiveness in service delivery. It is participatory and hands-on.

Tuition Fees
The subsidized rate for governmental and non-governmental organizations is fifty thousand naira (50, 000) only for 2 staff. Community Based Groups and interested persons will pay forty thousand naira (40, 000) only for 2staff. The fee includes course materials, certificate, group photograph; tea and lunch break at the training sessions.
