There are no absolute rules but, in general, a new graduate's CV should cover no more than two sides of A4 paper.
If you can summaries your career history comfortably on a single side, this is fine and has advantages when you are making speculative applications and need to put yourself across concisely.

However, you should not leave out important items, or crowd your text too closely together in order to fit it onto that single side. Academic and technical CVs may be much longer: up to 4 or 5 sides.

The résumé or CV is typically the first item that a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker.
Terminology-Curriculum vitae are Latin meaning "course of life" and résumé is French meaning "summary". In the business world, the word résumé (also spelled résumé and resume) is used especially in the United States and in English Canada. Curriculum vitae and "CV" are used in the United Kingdom in all contexts, with résumé having very little currency.
In North America, Australia, and India the terms "résumé" and "CV" may be used interchangeably. However, a résumé more often has a free-form organizational style and is used for seeking employment in the private sector, whereas a curriculum vitae (also called a vita, but not curriculum vita, see below) usually has a more standardized look and format for the purpose of seeking positions in academic or educational institutions.
Another difference is that a résumé tends to be more descriptive and tailored for a specific purpose or target audience, whereas curriculum vitae tends to be organized in a way that presents data about one's self in a compact fashion, with a clear chronology. For example, a résumé may begin with a statement about a personal goal, followed by a list of most significant accomplishments or characteristics in order of significance, while curriculum vitae often includes complete and unembellished lists of data such as educational institutions attended, degrees received, positions held, professional affiliations, publications authored, etc.
A résumé may or may not be represented by the person as a complete history of themselves without omission, whereas a curriculum vitae usually implies that there are no omissions, and in particular, no temporal gaps. But a CV is the most flexible and convenient way to make applications.

It looks like an adage but it’s not, come to think of this, everywhere people are talking about economy recession, global meltdown, economy crash down & economy slowdown. This is no time for you to bury your head in the sand & pretend that nothing is going on, that thing will be fine. That is sheer wishful thinking and it will hurt you badly.
Telling you all this, is not to scare you. It’s a clarion call for you to be proactive and take decisions that will prevent you from being vulnerable to its brutal effects.
And what is this prevention? Is to acquire knowledge.

Knowledge is power. It sounds like old saying, right? But if you think deeply, you will see that it has meaning. Literally, once you know what you don’t know before, you’ll be automatically be empowered by your newly acquired knowledge. True, right?

Let consider this example. Let’s assume you newly acquired a brand new car and you got into it hoping to move it out and you discovered that the car didn’t move at all, so you’re been disappointed of taking the car out and end up taking cab out. The next day while discussing with a friend, you mention the fact that your car didn’t move when you got into it.

Your friend now show you this is how the car move and he went to show you how it move by getting into the car, put the key into the ignition, change the gear and accelerate, the car start moving. At that point, you’ve acquired knowledge. The previous day, you didn’t know the car can move. Now, you’ve that knowledge.

Despite the knowledge acquired not many people can monetize that knowledge in bring money. So, I asked you this question? Are you making money with your newly acquire knowledge. Monetize your knowledge, hobbies & idea into what will be bring daily continuous cash flow into your bank account non-stop unless you stop doing so and it now depend on finding the right hand to show you how.

If I may ask you this? What do you think is the greatest moneymaking opportunity in the world, right now? What do you think has spawned more millionaires than ever in the history of the world? Let me give you a hint,
