I am widely travelled. I am currently applying to get a job through an agent so I could get a work permit in Canada. As I do currently have unresolved issue with the US embassy due to my 6months stay even though I tried to explain that it was due to health conditions. I am curious to know if the denial of my renewed US Visa can bring about a denial of my Canadian work permit.

From what I have read so far, it seems US and Canada immigration are intertwined. Does it mean that if one is refused a US visa, the person will definitely not be granted a Canadian visa? What are the chances of Canada issuing you a (tourist) visa especially when you have unresolved issues with the US embassy?
