BusinessWill Anyone Ever Be Richer Than Dangote In Nigeria? by clintonwanjala(op): 7:13am On Oct 26, 2025
Dangote has been sitting on the throne of Nigerian wealth for years now, with $23.9 billion to his name. Every time you look at business news, his name is still on top, untouchable.

But e dey make you wonder, will anyone ever really catch up to him? Guys like Mike Adenuga, Abdul Samad Rabiu, or even tech billionaires like Tope Awotona are doing big things, but are they really in Dangote’s league?

When you check out the richest Nigerians in 2025, it’s wild, yes, some built billions from scratch, others inherited empires, yet Dangote’s crown still feels untouchable.

So here’s the question for everyone: In Nigeria’s current economy, is it realistic to think someone could ever be richer than Dangote in the next 50 years?
