They are paying Nigerians to post videos. Most of us never got the memo.

Brands have short-form budgets they cannot spend fast enough. They need thousands of clips per campaign and cannot hire enough agencies to make them. So they pay strangers, per thousand views, every month.

Days 1 to 15 pay you in skill, not naira. Days 46 to 90 deliver two-thirds of the money. Almost everybody who quits does so before day twenty, holding a working asset.
