Does anyone have any idea why my mum's visit visa is being delayed. Biometric on 28th Feb and till date nothing. Just generic responses each time we follow up.

I forgot to add that in the invitation letter I did say I will be paying for her application fee, flight, and she’ll be staying with me. So the entire cost of her trip will be covered by me.
Can I ask that you share a copy of this letter with me please? danclurkh92@gmail.com. Thank you

Thanks for this. There's no UK option here and the other one is still switched off. I have sent an email to UKVI to escalate the issue but they're just giving generic feedback. two weeks and counting since they confirmed a decision has been made and then just radio silence

When was your bio completed and how did you sent the follow up mail process? Kindly share, Thanks
Bio was completed in November. Around the 20th.
https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-inside-outside-uk you can use that link for follow up. You will need to pay about £3 but they usually respond quickly. Won't give you specific, just let you know if you've been assessed or if there's a delay and then have it escalated

what’s the visa category? Study or a visit visa? Secondly, did you paid for Courier service? If yes or No try to contact Vfs either in Lagos or in Abuja Or track your passport through Vfs website https://atlantis-abs-uk.vfsglobal.com/sign-in Use the link to track your visa application and your passport if it has been dispatched
It's a spousal settlement visa. We didn't use courier. VFS does not have any contact on their site. If you have the email or phone number I can reach I would appreciate it.
When I tried to track, The images below is what it showed. Not clear what stage it is in.

Hi All,

A quick one. Applied for UK visa, sent a follow up mail to ask the status and was informed a decision has been made. This was two weeks ago. Since then, nothing. No mail from the decision letter box or from VFS.

Has anyone had similar experience? What can I do to get a status update?

Thanks
