This is disgraceful and unprofessional

This is not a matter for the presidency at all
We have an ambassador, a foreign minister whose jobs it is to deal with this professionally
Not in this uncouth and emotional way

In any team everyone should know their role

This is just a case of redundant appointees trying to justify their appointment

Small people take everything personal

The professional thing to do would be for the Nigerian High Commission in London to deal with it. That is their responsibility
The could write her a professional and polite letter explaining the facts
There is no need for confrontation or to make it personal

We see how ambassadors move in Nigeria.
What is the Nigerian High Commission doing?
Unfortunate!
Imagine past corrupt Nigerian politicians becoming Ambassadors. What would they have to offer in such situations

Why was she suspended because her nudes were leaked? She was being blackmailed.

This is just hypocrisy. Many of those lecturers sleep with students, so in which way are they better than this lady? She is a victim.

Her boyfriend needs to be taught as lesson!
Could it he she was also involved in other issues apart from the circulating photos?

Nothing new. The same things other nationals perform. Arab women visit there and competitively perform one night stands . Arab men eat pork, drink liquor and hire prostitutes. Indians voraciously consume beef. When back home, they return to “repressive” ways.

See his strong face.

E8 in government and is now a governor is a very shameful act, how can you be a good governor practically where you failed theoretically ?

He even had D7 in English that's why he made a threat to Obi in pidgin and had C5 in mathematics that's why he couldn't pronounce money figures when he was presenting budget. grin grin

What a shame!
Though academic grades must not always show who a good leader would be. But his utterances show he’s not intellectually suitable to be a governor

Very correct. Do you know the beautiful thing? All of our alumni who are lawmakers are not in support of the renaming. It cannot work. The students, the staff, the alumni, even indigenes of Borno are against it.
They shouldn’t allow this to happen!

Must FG (Tinubu) attach a University to Buhari’s name undecided

That’s what she wants.
She wants to be in the media
She wants to grant interviews and then bring in ‘because she is a woman’ attitude

How many bills has she passed in favour of women?

If there’s a court case restricting her to resume, then let the security ensure she do want even near the Chambers. Let her drama end between her and the security operatives
It will pain her

Tinubu is and will be too proud to go back on his words. One of his negative side is pride and Na me talk am syndrome.
For this renaming to be official, the National Assembly has to approve it. There are many controversies surrounding this renaming.
It’s even better he renames NDA to Bihari grin grin

PMG2024:
We will not keep quiet. UNIMAID must and will remain UNIMAID.
That’s how it should be. And must a University be renamed after a president who might have not done excellently well for the Institution or the Educational sector in general.

Someone wrote in earlier post , imagine you graduate and take your degree abroad, and it’s Buhari University
There are names that shouldn’t be associated with a University. If they want, they can rename NDA to Buhari Academy, after all he was a military officer
Or was Buhari an Alumni of UNIMAID?

malali:
Ighalo coming back from china to play in Manchester united was very high odds.......it was a big gamble

If Osimehen goes to Saudi......he should forget Europe.

Whether you play in Europe or Saudi..Your ultimate aim should be

....make sure you build your passive income, with bulletproof reliable investments. Once you hit 1 million dollars a year without having to play ball....you are set for life.
He forgot he came back to United because United needed a striker and AFCON was just concluded where he won the golden boot.
It was the AFCON golden boot that made United sign him as an interim striker, not his performance in China. Also he lobbied for it plus pay cuts.

Think of it, without that golden boot, he wouldn’t have made it to United. And for him to get the golden boot, other Super Eagles players supported him by handing him those penalties that made him score 5 goals

Seyi Tinubu?

First, power needs to be taken from all these old politicians
Even in their appointments l, they appoint mostly old men. Unlike Obj who appointed young Nigerians. Theirs is nothing wrong appointing youths to be ministers, their performance there could boost their chances of becoming president or vice president. Unfortunately, most or likely president or vice president is almost always a past Governor or Senator
Education › Re: Assistant Professor Reacts To Renaming Of UNIMAID After Buhari by Cmanforall: 10:50pm On Jul 18, 2025
grandsuccess:
Why are they doing this??

There are some institutions that should be seen as sacred - As in no one should tamper with their names.

UNN
UNILORIN
UNILAG
UNIMAID
UNiABUJA
UNIJOS
UNICAL
UNIPORT
ABU
And few others.

The names of these institutions are supposed to be protected not messed up.
What is University of Abuja doing on this list, and UI is missing, FUTO

Intact, All these renaming should just stop, including State Universities. If a structure must be named, then a new structure or factory can be established for that purpose

iwaeda:
Be ready to settle the hawks called custom, police, soldiers on the road. To rattle you, they might tell you your custom papers are fake and you didn't pay correct money. grin grin grin grin grin
Once your custom papers are complete, you have about 21 days from date of landing to transport the car without registration. However, considering how the country is and the hunger in town, without having a plate number will attract so many stops and settlement.
If you are not in a hurry, you can actually drive it down to the East without ‘forceful’ settlement. They will delay you, and be checking all those stuffs some posted above, for example, Fire extinguisher etc.
So, your choice!
aikyg:
Use a car dealer zto move the vehicle. They have special number plates for transporting cars. Once the car reaches its destination the plate number is removed.
Another option👆

Is it not Nigeria again? There's a total lack of maintenance culture. Our level of education as a group of people is very low. That's the foundation of our problem. Until something is done about our abysmal attention to education Nigeria will not progress. Wasting money building edifices will not help. You can't build something on nothing
Maybe soon that Univeraity of Transport Amaechi built in Katsina will be in a sorry state. Maybe it is structures in the Capitals (including FCT) that most elected leaders focus on, which is quite unfortunate.
That Abuja Centre cannot be in this State, because it is in the Capital and most politicians will always want to use it

They could have maintained it and promoted it even more to generate revenue for the State. dependence on Federal allocation should be supplementary and for bigger projects
