What action are you expecting to see in a life changing teaching like this. Its not a miracle crusade. Or a Holy Ghost bomb as this. Read the articles, digest them and ask your question

James said in James 2:22, that faith without works is dead. Its only by faith that we relate with God as He is an invisible being. Every good works are good before God. Giving to God and humanity, praying a captive out of captivity is also good. Helping the depresses out of depression, feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, help build another person's self esteem are all good works. BUT ARE THEY ACCEPTABLE BEFORE GOD?

Look at this passage in the word of God on Matthew 23:15. It says, WOE UNTO YOU SCRIBES AND PHARISEES, HYPOCRITES! FOR YOU COMPASS SEA AND LAND TO MAKE ONE A PROSELYTE, AND WHEN HE IS MADE, YOU MAKE HIM TWICE MORE THE CHILD OF HELL THAN YOURSELF.
Instead of commending the Pharisees for evangelism that led to converting a sinner to God; they received damnation for evangelizing. And this group of Christians are the only people that received the WOE from the humble messiah through out the Bible.
But how come the pharisee is a son of hell?

They are the teachers of law, heads of the church, on pastoral ministry/robes, serving in his altar in sharing the Holy communion, baptizing, laying hands on young Christians in impartation (confirmation in the Orthodox churches), and every other spiritual activities. It is not all church leaders that have the pharisees spirit though. Who then has it?

You will get to know who has the Pharisees spirit when a new wine comes into the church of Christ. Imagine a member of the congregation suddenly manifests in the Holy Spirit and there are signs and wonders taking place in the person; then the pharisee spirits manifests from those who sees themselves as Saul, and a spirit of jealousy will arise in them. This is Pharisee Spirit. This spirit in the Pharisees will instigate some members of the church to disdain the spirit of the new wine. Calling it the spirit of Belzebub, Jezebel spirit, false prophet spirit, etc. Pharisee spirit is nothing but the spirit of religious jealousy. All Christians should be careful about this, strong ministers should as well be careful as members of your congregation must grow. And as long as this spirit is there, your GOOD WORKS are not accepted by God. No matter what it was.

Members of the church of Philadelphia has a revival ministry. And this is why the open door is necessary. As there is always a purpose why God opens a door for someone. There is what is referred to an OPEN DOOR SEED. The Bible said that as He opens, no one can shut the door. But you who have this open door, can actually close this door, if you do not keep this door open by a seed.

One good work that is acceptable by the Lord is giving to Him (God) through tithing, giving to the poor, giving offerings to his Church, giving to His ministers, etc. The question is, are these works acceptable by God?
Beginning with tithing, anyone who says that tithing is not biblical is far from the truth of the will of God. God will surely deliver that person. But tithe can be acceptable or unacceptable by God, depending on the method of giving this.

Unacceptable tithes are the ones that are either short paid to God or over paid to God.
Unacceptable tithe is the tithe paid after our expenses are drawn from the capital.
Unacceptable tithe is the tithe that the payee gave to someone to help him/her pay.
Unacceptable tithe is the tithe paid to God grudgingly.
Unacceptable tithe is the tithe paid by the payee and announced.

Most of you who are spitting fire now, will do worst when you are exposed to the same environment that he was exposed to. Imagine an enterpreneur who single handedly started a banking business, and invited members of the public as the growth went off-hand. That owner's mentality will still be there.

I see all of you as the club/stone/knife carrying pharisees, who were ready to kill Mary Magdalene for her sin. Yet all of you are guilty of either the same/more sins. Our Nigerian system of getting wealth is by accumulating what the third generation may not finish eventually. Excepts the high profile pastors, all other Christians are like all other unbelieving Nigerians. As such Akingbola did what all of us can do as well.

Whether you accept it or not, the mode of his repentance will attract or deny the mercy of God on him. Because this is a Christian forum, this is why I asked for God's mercy on him. Knowing fully well that most of you benefited immensely on God's mercy through his generous gifts, to the body of Christ.
