fy Adibeli, is living the life of her dreams since she hit the tv screen at 16. For her it's been one victory after another as she has featured in so many movies and even producing some herself. Currently she has produced about 10 movies herself. She’s living the life many of her peers only dream of and she’s savouring every moment, wallowing in the glitz and glamour that comes with it. But what she probably hasn’t bargained for is that life doesn’t offer anything without a price tag. This, seems to be what she’s finding out the hard way and is certainly ruffling her feathers. “I don’t care if people call me a bitch. It’s just another word for feminist and I say it with pride,” she wrote on her Instagram page on Monday, clearly letting loose sweltering emotion confounding her mind. When reporters reached her, it was clear she had a reason for making her post on Instagram. This is what she said: “Nobody has really pissed me off. I’m just fed up with people who think nonsense of you just because your lifestyle has changed. They see every girl that is doing well in life and on Instagram as a runs girl. Just because of how classy you look, they tag you ‘small girl, big God’, which is what they call runs girls now. When they call you ‘small girl with big God’, they are actually calling you a runs girl. It makes me laugh each time I see that comment on people’s posts, she explained with a note of displeasure in her voice. “The word ‘bitch’ means a whole lot of different things and it depends on who calls you that. My own definition of bitch has different meanings. It is not the way others see it. Like I said on the post, to me, it is another word for ‘feminism’. I hate it when people call me ‘small girl, big God’. How can you ascribe such a dirty thing to God? It is not right. I’m working very hard for my money, they should allow me to enjoy it”, she added. Ify, who was once tagged ‘Nollywood’s hottest virgin’ is working on a new production billed for the cinemas. “I will start production after my birthday on September 25. However, my latest film produced by me “Bad Time” will be showing on DSTV soon,” she said. http://www.vondanews.com/i-hate-it-when-people-call-me-small-girl-big-god-ify-adibeli/

The Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has said the recent defection of some Senators from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, would not deter President Muhammadu Buhari from winning the 2019 presidential election. Amaechi, while fielding questions from journalists after inspecting the Itakpe-Warri rail line on Friday, said the chances of Buhari in the election were bright. He also boasted that the President will win the election even on a sick bed, using Bauchi State to drive home his argument, where according to him, Buhari had never lost election before. Amaechi told reporters, “Do you honestly believe that the president will lose an election in this country? Well, nobody is God, but that is one of his comfort zones. The next person that left, left from Bauchi, if you bring the President on a sick bed in Bauchi, he will win. He has never lost an election in Bauchi. “One thing about me in the political history of Nigeria, nobody has been in doubt on where I stand, one quality I have and Nigerians believe is that I’m honest. I never hid my feelings. “Nigerians will certainly reject a second looting, Nigeria cannot survive another looting, call me all the rich men in Nigeria, everybody depends on government. “Sixty per cent of Nigerian rich men depend on government. Only three years that they removed the breast milk, everybody is complaining.” http://www.vondanews.com/defection-amaechi-speaks-on-buhari-losing-2019-election/

Festus Keyamo, Director of Strategic Communications for President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organization has criticised some leaders of religious and tribal groups for straying far into politics. Keyamo, speaking against some inflammatory statements being made by some clerics, urged the religious leaders to stick to their original role of bridge-builders in the society rather than seeking political power. The renowned lawyer made the statement in a tweet posted on his official handle condemning some divisive speeches by religious leaders as the country inches to the election in 2019. This is coming at a time when the founder and presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, aka Winners’ Chapel, David Oyedepo and the Spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka criticised Buhari’s administration, prophesying impending doom in the country over killings. The tweet read: “Instead of sticking to their original role of bridge-builders in society, some leaders of religious & tribal groups have strayed far into politics that they now see themselves as power brokers. “Let’s remind them of their original role by shunning their hateful political messages.” http://www.vondanews.com/2019-stop-straying-into-politics-keyamo-warns-religious-leaders/
