Toluway: I asked my eldest son to join us here , that I would give him money to invest, to enable him get used to stock investing. I've been urging him for years but up till now, he has not responded. He is busy going around with laptop with animations game application application. Recently, I turned to the youngest one and asked him to start the same, but he said he doesn't need money now, why should he start the enterprise. Doing animation is his own passion. He is on YouTube. Now, I'm confused. Who would I hand over to, when I'm old? My wife no dey play with her money and even my own money, so, stock market is not the place for her. If you have a daughter, you can handover to her. |

ojesymsym: How many of them ready to learn anything serious?
Let us face it, many kids from average to affluence homes feel a large level of entitlement particularly when you thought you were doing the right thing allowing them enjoy the money you worked hard for and give them a life you did not have.
Some even take it a step further and start turning gay because in your benevolence, you send them go abroad. This assumption is totally false about rich kids belonging to those with generational wealth. It is the 'i never chop ' parents who found sudden wealth treat their children with entitlement.Generational wealth is not an automatic thing, you need to successfully pass a skill to the next generation. Most billionaires in Nigeria dwell on bank loans so there is no way they can pass such wealth to the next generation. if your build your empire on a certain skilll and teach your children they will take it to greater heights. Most African parents teach their children how to spend money not how to make it. They believe sending you to school is the best gift a child can get from his parents. Like a Jewish saying 'if you dont teach a child how to make money, you are teaching them how to steal'. |

HydraFeeds: According to regional IQ rating ,West Africa has the lowest IQ in the world , following by other African countries.
If we look back, our forefathers didn't have magnificent structure (except maybe Sudanese and Egyptian pyramids) that can rival other continents historical achievements, whether in technologies , agriculture, warfare ,civil development or education. Which means it's been long we have problems in Africa ,only failures blame colonisers for their woes .
The only solution to poverty and low standard of living is to work . Work harder ,work smarter . The solution is work with investments i.e earning money whole sleeping. The govt also needs to introduce social benefits for all classes of people. |
