trying to charge it wouldn't work, cos the bms is not active due to very low voltage. the solution is to open the battery and try charging directly on the cells terminals to atleast 12v, it will wake up the bms.

My impression of Henry LiFePO4 Lithium battery.
I bought 3pcs of 24v-100ah. To my utmost surprise, when I checked the capacity on their BMS app, I can see that the cells of each battery unit is not up to 100ah.
100ah battery should show full 100ah or 100,000mah. Infact, some brands will give you 103ah for 100ah.
It's either they sold used cells which are grade B, or the cells are new grade A but not complete.
You can see the screenshot from the BMS app below:
First battery's full capacity is 96,210mah (96.21ah)
Second battery's full capacity is 97,010mah (97.01ah)
Third battery's full capacity is 99,630mah (99.63ah)
If you don't mind the disparity, then you can buy HenryLiFePO4 battery.

someone told me they use UPS instead of inverter for their 12v system, he got the UPS at 25k for a 2.4kva UPS but similar used inverter was around 120k. Question - using UPS as inverter , any issues?

Sir, a 12v system is very limiting and stresses the batteries much more than those of higher voltages.

Even if it works with 12v inverter, doesn't necessarily mean it's what's best.

Also the voltage of your inverter isn't what really really determines if it would carry the induction cooker, the wattage is what you should be checking.

Oga go read your manual. That controller max voltage for 12v system is 80v, 24v system is 105v na 48v system be that 150v. Connect your panels in parallel. You still dey argue. No P. Enjoy your setup like that na.

I think there might be a mix-up between PWM behavior and MPPT specs here.

For most MPPT controllers (including my PowMr 150V unit), the maximum PV input voltage is independent of the battery system voltage. The 150V rating refers to the PV open-circuit voltage limit, not whether the battery is 12V, 24V, or 48V.

In my case:

- Panels in series ≈ 90–100V Voc
- Controller max PV input = 150V

So the setup is still within safe limits.

Also, running panels in series with MPPT is generally more efficient (lower current, less cable loss, better performance in high temperatures), which is why it’s commonly recommended.

If there’s a specific PowMr model where the PV limit derates with battery voltage, I’m open to seeing the exact spec — but from what I’ve checked in the manual, this unit supports the full PV input range across system voltages.

This is it set at 800w. The way it is made, if there is no compatible pot on it, even if you put it on, the cooker won't come on. That is also a good safety feature I guess, incase one mistakenly puts it on without knowing. So, I can't snap the surface when it is working, although it does not even show any red colour, it just starts working
