___________________________________ I hate it when guys talk about new generation girls not being able to do things their mothers did. I don't remember my dad drawing tattoos, posing with bottles of Hennessy, Kush or Codeine, or dressing like an Arab forming Arab money, or leaving my mom on Friday nights to go clubbing, or fantasizing about lesbians or girls who will role play, or insisting their fiancé must get pregnant before marriage (after making other girls to commit abortions n lose their womb). Crime / About Three Phones Have Gone Missing In Our Room In The Past Five Months. by codingmeru(m): 7:59am On Apr 25, 2015
About three phones have gone missing in our
room in the past five months. When we reported
to the School's security, they only told us that it
was a roommate that is responsible.
Everyone of us in the room was waiting for the
day we will catch the culprit.
Last Tuesday, when we were all asleep; I think it
was about 2 am, Ben woke up suddenly and his
phone was gone. His phone was the most
expensive of us all.
When Ben woke up and couldn't find his phone,
he sprang up from the bed and quickly opened his
cupboard. He rummaged the contents, even
removed his clothes but could still not find the
phone.
I was in the room when it happened; sitting and
reading before I dozed off with my heading
resting on my books.
So when Ben couldn't find his phone, he gently
shook my shoulders until I woke up.
'It has happened again', he told me.
I didn't even need to ask what happened as I
could see the panic and loss written in his eyes.
This is the second time his phone had been
stolen.
So I took my phone and dialed Ben's number;
just to be sure it had not been misplaced.
'Error in Connection' was what I saw on the
screen of my phone.
I dialed it again and it started ringing not just on
my phone, but the actual ring tone of Ben's
Samsung phone was faintly audible.
We were both surprised when we heard the tone.
I beckoned on Ben to keep quiet as he was visibly
ready to 'finish' the person who took his phone.
I continued dialing as we moved silently, following
the direction of the ring tone.
There were four bunks in the room, each with two
bed spaces. Ben and I use the same bunk just
beside the door and the sound was coming from
the last bunk at the extreme left corner.
We tiptoed, Ben and I, like Jack Baeur until we
traced the sound to the top bed space on the last
bunk.
'So it is John who had been stealing phones in
this room'. Ben whispered to me.
We shook his leg and woke him up only to find
out it was not John sleeping on the mattress.
Neither of us had ever seen the guy before.
To make matters worse, the ringing was coming
from the bag he was using as pillow.
When he woke up, he looked at us strangely as if
he didn't know why we were there.
We opened the bag and found not just Ben's
Samsung, but three other phones.
'So, you are the one who's been stealing our
phones!'; Ben shouted at him.
Before he could find an excuse, Ben slapped him
on his left cheek and walked out looking for
anything to break one or two of the guy's bones.
I don't know; but there was something about the
guy. So I asked him,
'Oga, what are you doing here?'
'What are you doing with Ben's phone'.
He was just looking at me without saying
anything, so I slapped his right cheek with my left
hand.
'ANSWER ME!', I screamed at him; waking up the
roommates who were around.
John had obviously gone to night class to read
and I assumed the other three roommates who
were absent had also gone to read.
The two guys remaining in the room with me and
Ben came and gave their own round of slaps.
The accused was now staggering when Ben came
back with a long wood hard enough to kill the
guy.
As he raised it up, the three of us, the
roommates, held his hands so he wouldn't
murder the accused.
Ben dropped the wood and swept his right leg
against the thief's legs and he fell down.
Ben had told me before that he had attended the
Soldiers' recruitment training but failed the
medical test. I believed him right then.
I looked at the guy crumple on the floor and
before Ben killed him, I decided to interview him,
at least to know who he is.
He was now sitting on the ground where he
landed from Ben's force.
'Who are you?'
I asked him again; this time gently.
He was crying but it was only the tears that were
coming out.
It was then I realized he had not even uttered a
word since it all started. Not even when he fell to
the ground.
'Why are you in our room'? I asked again.
'Can you even talk?'
He shook his head then.
I was now confused. Why was he shaking his
head?
So, I asked again,
'Can't you talk?'
He shook his head again.
'Wait, is it that this guy is dumb?', I asked the
guys.
The guy then nodded his head and pointed to his
mouth and then shook his head left to right.
It hit me then.
The guy is dumb but not deaf. That was the first
time I am seeing a case like that.
My anger changed to pity immediately.
'Are you dumb?', I ashamedly asked the guy to
confirm.
Again, he nodded his head.
'Can you read and write?'
He nodded again.
'Get me a pen and note!' I said to my roommates
over my shoulder.
I collected the pen and wrote on the note,
'Who are you? Explain yourself.'
I was almost in tears as I read his fine
handwriting,
'My name is James, I am John's elder brother. I
am a student of Delta State University. I was
traveling to Delta but our bus stopped for the
night at Benin. So I decided to sleep with my
brother till tomorrow morning. He brought me
here around 12 am and went out to night class to
read. He gave me the bag to keep for him. So I
decided to use it as pillow so that it won't be
stolen'.
I held the note with the guys at my back as all of
us read it.
I became so weak I almost fell.
'The guy is innocent.' I needlessly announced.
When we realized this, even I was ashamed of
myself.
Ben just stood there with the wood he almost
used to hit him, looking as if he was the one who
had been beaten.
I am not sure, but I think I saw tears in his eyes
as he realized he had just punished an innocent
man.
So we knelt down; Ben and I, we knelt down and
clasped our hands so he will know we were really
sorry.
With tears in our eyes, we told him,
'We are sorry. Sorry for accusing you wrongly and
beating you for it'.
The dumb guy just smiled with bleeding lips from
the blow I gave him. He smiled and looked into
our eyes. And I could see pity in his eyes.
He smiled and shook his head and then wrote in
the same paper.
'It is Alright. I took the pain willingly. Please
don't beat my brother anymore. I knew why you
were beating me. John had always been a thief,
right from home. But please don't report or beat
him again'.
Tears dropped from my eyes as I read his
sacrifice. He deliberately allowed us beat him just
so that John will be free.
I lend my hand and raised him up as I used my
cloth to wipe the tears from his face and blood
from his lips.
It was then my own tears flowed from the
corners of my eyes.
Romance / Here Are The Top 5 Healthy Eating Tips For A Healthy Relationship & Sex Life: by codingmeru(m): 3:15pm On Apr 23, 2015
1. Eat together
Being together is a bonding experience for any
couple at any time. The brain is the most
important sex organ and sex isn’t just about the
act itself. Look at it from a holistic point of view. It
begins with signs of affections, building trust and
intimacy together and desiring your partner.
Having meals together helps both of you to get to
know each other better and helps bond the both of
you tighter together in a relaxed scenario.
2. Healthy Diet
Our bodies need food. However, it’s fueling the
body with the right kinds of food that isn’t always
so easy. Eating the right kind of foods has been
linked to better mood and greater energy (and of
course, better health). Omega-3s, for example,
help to improve heart health, and reduces the risk
of depression (which is often linked to the loss of
sexual desire) by increasing dopamine production,
and may have a positive impact on libido. A
healthy diet can help maintain a better mood and
thus, helping you to be able to support a healthy
relationship.
3. Support one another
We’re not just talking emotionally, although that is
very important in any relationship. We’re referring
to supporting each other by having a good diet
and encouraging each other to stick to those good
dietary habits. If your partner is on a weight loss
journey, be supportive by helping them in any way
possible. They will greatly appreciate that support.
Don’t criticise or nitpick on their bad eating
habits. Help them find out why they are having
difficulty sticking to their diet and help them come
to a solution. Be supportive, not destructive. When
one is supportive to their partner, that bonds a
couple even more and thus, creating more love
and desire between them.
4. Food Conflicts
Are you a meat eater and your partner is vegan?
Or are you a strict Buddhist vegetarian whereas
your partner doesn’t really care and eats anything
and everything? Whether you like it............

Religion / Jesus Was Married & Had A Son by codingmeru(m): 10:39am On Apr 08, 2015
Geologist claims Jesus was
married & had a son..
An Israeli geologist claims he has ‘confirmed’ the
existence and authenticity of a tomb belonging to
Jesus and his son in Jerusalem.
After extensive chemical tests, Dr Arye Shimron
says he has linked the James Ossuary – a 1st-century
chalk box that some believe hold the bones of Jesus'
brother – to the long disputed ‘Jesus Family tomb’ in
the city’s East Talpiot neighbourhood. He suggests
that Jesus was married, fathered a child and that a
physical resurrection did not take place.Dr Shumron
told The New York Times: ‘
I think I’ve got really powerful, virtually
unequivocal evidence that the James ossuary
spent most of its lifetime, or death time, in
the Talpiot Tomb.’
According to geoarcheologist Dr Shimron, the 'son of
God' was buried with nine other people, including
‘Judah, son of Jesus’ and his wife, named Mary.

Politics / 5 Major Reason That Made GEJ Loose - UK Guardian by codingmeru(m): 11:07am On Apr 02, 2015
Must Read!! 5 Major Reasons That Made GEJ Loose – UK Guardian

Goodluck Jonathan has earned the dubious distinction of being the first president in Nigerian history to lose an election.

In many ways, Jonathan was the architect of his own downfall.

He made critical mistakes that turned the public and allies against him, and led them to gravitate towards the opposition.

Here’s where it all went wrong:

1. Don’t cross the boss

When Nigeria emerged from 15 years of military rule in 1999, Jonathan’s Peoples Democratic party (PDP) was formed by wealthy retired generals to inherit power from the military. One of the godfathers was General Olusegun Obasanjo, who has governed Nigeria twice (between 1976-1979 and 1999-2007). Jonathan made the mistake of alienating Obasanjo; leading the general to write a public 18-page letter containing lacerating criticism of the president in December 2013. A party member likened Obasanjo’s hectoring of Jonathan to a father’s disappointment with his son.

Getting on the wrong side of Obasanjo is the political equivalent of crossing a mafia don
Rather than make peace with the 77-year-old, Jonathan’s office retaliated.

Getting on the wrong side of Obasanjo is the political equivalent of crossing a mafia don. You will pay. Obasanjo’s attacks on Jonathan intensified. In February, an irate Obasanjo quit the PDP and dramatically ripped up his party membership card on television.

Jonathan was naïve to think he could remain president without the support of PDP godfathers like Obasanjo. Although Nigeria is no longer under military rule, many retired millionaire generals call the shots from behind the scenes.

2. Playing fair

Previous Nigerian presidents were too cynical to expose themselves to the unpredictable risk of a fair election. The election victories of PDP presidents during the past 16 years have been partially “assisted” by electoral malpractice. That changed when Jonathan nominated Professor Attahiru Jega as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) in 2010. Jega vowed to reform Nigeria’s electoral process to ensure free and fair elections.

The former university lecturer exuded calm authority and integrity. He has painstakingly prepared for the task over the past four years by studying the rigging methods used in previous elections, implementing an elaborate system of voter registration, training thousands of electoral staff, and introducing biometric readers to identify voters by reading their thumbprint.

Jonathan created the environment for the emergence of these changes and gave Jega the freedom and authority to conduct reforms that led to a credible election. But by giving Jega a free hand to play fair, he allowed Jega to craft the weapons that were used to oust him from power.

3. Boko Haram and the Chibok kidnaps

Jonathan’s relations with party members at times resembled a football coach antagonising his star players
When Boko Haram kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls from the town of Chibok in northern Nigeria, Jonathan failed to realise how much this would capture the public’s attention, both locally and internationally. His failure to speak about the kidnap for several weeks made him appear uncaring. These shortcomings were exacerbated by the behaviour of his wife, Patience, when she met the mothers of the kidnapped girls. Her ostentatious display and over-the-top emotions were mercilessly parodied.

Jonathan’s perceived casual indifference to the suffering of his people was compounded when he was photographed celebrating his niece’s lavish wedding just a few days after Boko Haram had killed 2,000 people in the town of Baga.

4. Bad management

Jonathan’s relations with party members at times resembled a football coach antagonising his star players into leaving for rival teams. His tendency to fall out with colleagues simultaneously weakened his party and strengthened the opposition. He quarrelled with one after another; leading several of them to leave the party in frustration and join the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC). The alliance between these and the opposition shoved Jonathan out of power.

5. Corruption and cronyism

Nigerians refer to their country’s resources as the “national cake” which must be shared by its citizens. There was a perception that Jonathan gave slices of the cake largely to members of his own community. Many powerful members of his government were from Jonathan’s region in the deep south of the country. Even Jonathan’s wife was appointed as a senior civil servant in his home state of Bayelsa.

There was a perception that Jonathan gave slices of the cake largely to members of his own community
Under Jonathan’s presidency many militant leaders from the oil producing Niger Delta area in the south have become very rich from government patronage and contracts. Some of them have been awarded security contracts to guard the oil installations they once protested against and attacked.

Jonathan has also pardoned a former ally accused of fraud and money laundering, increasing the cloud of suspicion hanging over his government.

These events caused deep resentment in other parts of Nigeria and created the impression that Jonathan ran a government that benefits those from his part of the country, the south, but not many others.

Jonathan even managed to get into a public feud with the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the respected Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. In February 2014 Sanusi alleged that $20bn of Nigerian oil revenue was unaccounted for. Rather than investigating the claims Jonathan fired Sanusi for his impertinence at publicly hinting of government fraud.

Buhari’s victory is historic and unprecedented. However Jonathan was responsible almost as much as Buhari was.
