Sometimes only cemen can be used if the walls are perfectly plastered..... But you will need tile gums to help firmness

2 4liter paint bucket of plastering sand per a bag of cement will do that easily.... Only adhesive might yield to over usage of materials na

I found out that the Tiler and the said manufacturer (another Tiler) are colluding to create an unknown mixture and selling it to client as adhesive when in reality it's just repackaged OPC cement with some additives. To be specific, the Tiler took my engineer to a vendor to buy the Tile Adhesive at a ridiculous price, only to return to take over 50% commission.

Reasons why trust and reliability no dey our work again..... Hardly you will see any good and high calculative engineer give you access to handle purchase of any materials


There was a work i did last month where the person that took me there was trying to train me on how to do some shits

I told him clean that i only work for my money... Anything else like stealing na no no for me
Dey tell me to say i used 5 bags of cement intead of 3

On top work that's not big oooo.....we are indeed blacks and brainblacks for naija

There is tile surface finish they call RUSTIC FINISH in Nigeria. That is what most people use, even for outdoors. It is non-slip

Something like this are good for bathrooms and outdoors..... It's rustic surface

Because of economising lol..... Perfect way to lay tiles is just applying an inch or half an inch of mortal behind the tiles..... Floors are to be screed and left to dry before laying the tiles with gums and comb trowell.... But you see engineers love cheap and affordable stuffs hence those naija procedures

I dey lay tiles on wood if the case needs.......

Yes to reduce the materials needed for the tiling process...... And not okay laying tiles on bare blocks because of water... Most especially toilets.....

Exactly what I thought. The walls are not well plastered and I suggested using OPC cement mix alone and they insisted on mixing with Tile Gum for better bonding strength.

Check the tiles you are using if it's clay back then let them use OPC
Gums are extra funds jare

You go buy adhesive tire and will be like using adhesive for heavy mortals carrying the tiles

I like the fact that you are willing to work and also work your way up and not outrightly asking for works.
