The drive for humans to express their love romantically and emotionally to other humans is a very strong and innate desire.

Given the foregoing, why is there some much opposition (amongst traditionalist) when someone[b] finds romantic love with someone of the same gender?[/b] What is problems with such relationships when it is our basic desire for love that is being expressed and fulfilled in same-sex relationship as in heterogenous relationships?

There is so much opposition, like you wrote, because same-sex relationship is unconventional , irrational and immoral to the general society.  Naturally males should attract females, but when this is not, you should expect public outcry and opposition.

The problem with same sex relationship is the stigma/bad name society attached to it;not that the relationship itself is bad.
