YOUTH CORPS MEMBER LEAVES FOOTPRINTS IN DAURA.

Nwagu Evelyn Ogechukwu (KT/16B/2532) a serving corps member in Daura LGA Katsina state left footprints in the hearts of the people. She constructed a sign post in the popular community periodic market.

For long now, the market has been in existence without any means of identification. Visitors including corp members find it difficult in locating the market and this spurred her to carryout this project.

The project was commissioned in a grand style with some dignitaries of the community present. They include: the NYSC Zonal Inspector of Daura LGA, representative of the Emir of Daura, the market header (sarkin kasuwa) and civil defence. Also present were corps members and some community members.

The market head thanked her for giving the market a new look and means of identification. He prayed that the good Lord will grant her heart desires.

The zonal inspector congratulated her for a job well done and also charged corps members present to continue to contribute to the development of the community.

Miss Evelyn thanked the people of Daura for their love and support throughout her service year and everyone who came out for the commissioning.[/b][b][b][/b]
