Are you sure Oduamakin is a Yoruba man? Standing up to their northern masters is not something they do regularly. |
Youruba criminal in the UK. ? No news there |
https://dvsl3w2q45hb8.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/The-Suspects1.gif Crime Alert gathered that the suspects who boarded a cab from Oshodi to Mushin, became jittery immediately they saw a police check point at Mushin. They ordered the driver to stop to enable them alight. When the driver refused, they tried to force the door open, but the driver sped off to the police checkpoint where he eventually stopped. As soon as he stooped the cab, the driver told the officers to search them, that they have been acting strange since they boarded his cab which arosed his suspicion. In the process of searching the suspects, a locally made gun was found a one of them. Confession—Afeez “I am from Osun state, I am married, I have a daughter, I joined the gang 12 months ago, I have participated in five robbery operations within Lagos and Ogun states. I have not made much from the robbery operation. Sometimes, I make N20, 000, N15, 000 or N30, 000. I also make money from selling phones, gold and valuables we steal during operations. I was selling Indian hemp at Ojuelegba before the Aiye cult boys forced me to join them, that was how I started robbery with the gang. I was a cobbler when I lost my mother, I could not continue because there was nobody to support me. I have worked as a bus conductor for more than nine years; I sold Indian hemp for three years before I joined the gang last year when Legba introduced me to the gang. We only use the guns to scare people during operations. I have never killed anyone and I have never raped anyone. That night, Legba called me on phone to come to Oshodi. When I got there, he gave me a gun to take to his wife at Mushin but on our way, police arrested us. I knew him when I was selling Indian hemp but I didn’t know that he was an armed robber. I am the one who introduced Wasiu into the armed robbery gang. We live in the same area in Iyana- Itire area of Lagos state. I have a four- year- old daughter, I use proceeds from the robbery operations to train my daughter in school. I regret joining the group.” Wasiu: “I joined the gang this year and I have also participated in five robbery operations in Lagos state. We are nine in the group. I was introduced into the gang by Afeez. I was at Mushin when he asked me to accompany him to Osohdi when the gang leader called him. When we got there, he told us to take a gun to his wife which was what we were doing when we were arrested. I have not made anything from the operations. If I ever get out of this, I will never rob again. I am a trained mechanic but I don’t like the work, that is why I joined the gang to make a living.” www.vanguardngr.com/2014/08/use-robbery-proceeds-train-daughter-school-robbery-suspect/ |
Goodluck Jonathan will not kill us with fresh air. |
So the much vaunted capital expenditure will now take a back seat for recurrent one? Ok. |
chino24: Which graduate? Oluwole things..But the guy claimed he served in Onitsha o. Do illiterates now go for NYSC too? He also claimed that he taught in a school, all the students that were unfortunate to be taught by him should be re-orientated. |

size38: Good for them. At least anytime Biafra rears it ugly head again, there is police, Army, DSS and now Navy to confront them because Anambra state to me seems to be the head quarter of Biafra and Igbo separatists. Why are Yorubas so afraid of the emergence of Biafra? Musr you ''confront'' them simply because they want their own country? LMAO @ boldened. |
anago90: have not even started with you, you already cancelling without reply. can we get an ise to the former post??.. even the best igbo-las swerve when they hear my name, little wonders igbo-las have to go dig different fake picture of their tormentor in chief. meforyou1 where is the 40 something year old man picture of me. awon oloriburuku mashafani omo irankiran omo abi pa abe gbogbo.Hahahaha see Eggheader, Igbo warriors foot mat on Nairaland dey form James Bond. IGBOSON1: ^^^Dude, what the fuc/k is your problem? Isn't one entitled to hold a position at variance from yours? What much needed land? What happened to the hectares of bushes and untouched land that can be found all over Anambra? Is it better for the land to remain fallow than to be used for a meaninful project lile a Naval base? Anambra is bigger than Lagos, yet there are Naval, Airforce, Army and Police bases there, customs offices, Ports authority + many more can all be found there yet there are still virgin lands in some parts of Lagos. You obviously have no valid reason for being so angry with this project, so don't blame anyone for tagging you envious. |
IGBOSON1: ^^^I agree with your position! Are you saying there is no more land for those things you listed in Anambra or around Onitsha? How many square KM is Onitsha? There is still ample land in villages around Onitsha for such a project to be sited. Other cities are expanding and swallowing up villages around it, nothing stops Onitsha from doing so. This Navy project and the Industrial or housing estate you guys dream of are not mutually exclusive so I don't understand what point you and that guy are trying to make. |
To those doubting the economic importance of the project, remember they are also building a jetty... |
BuddahMonk: What about security to the host community and the state at large.Do not buy that guy's propaganda. The roads leading to that community will be kept in good condition because of that base, there will be a ''mammy'' market inside or close to the base to serve the soldiers and their families, that alone will help the community to boom economically, there will be standard sports facilities in the base that the community youth and children will also benefit from, (If I am to judge by what I see in other places where Nigerian military bases are located), they will likely build a standard primary and secondary school in the base which the locals will also benefit from, the advantages are endless. Don't bother yourself about Ilmuguboy, we know them well. |
ilugunboy: Why would anyone develop heart attack over this kind of news? These are obviously words of an angry man, the kind of people I was referring to. |
rozayx5: Lord Knows what Lag would have looked like without being a former capital and having a SeaportIt would have been like Oshogbo or Ibadan. |
You have given them vehicles, what is remaining now is good roads for them to ply the vehicles. |
NgeneUkwenu: It's really a pity! Though we all saw it coming! Peter Obi is a confirmed criminal who looted Anambra State without shame! He intentionally killed APGA for Ndigbo! |
Chino is just out to give people heart attack today. SMH! |
smallJagaban: YORUBA JAGABAN IS THE LORD IN APC. THEY CAN DO AND UNDO. GOATLUCK KNOWS WHERE THE REAL OPPOSITION COME FROM2.00GPA if you think Tinubu has a say in APC, tell him to present a Yoruba man as Presidential candidate next year. Tinubu is just a tool for nothern domination of Yorubas, just like Afonja, a Yoruba man who handed over Ilorin to the Fulanis. You guys are slaves forever. |
Mega city. |
smallJagaban: APC /ACN.ACN is non existent. APC belongs to your northern slave masters. |
