jswit: @Justwise... my fiancee just told me that he has been keeping d receipt for sending me money since 2011 till date.... so he will come with them as prove.
Just give them everything in details, even if u have 4 kg worth of document u will get everything back. just give them more than enough so that they wont have any reasons to question it. also write a detailed letter about your relationship and plans for the future together. get paper evidence to back up everything you put in your form and the requirement set out, dont just assume the eco can find out or make a call if he is not sure, e.g. like employement history. Dont give any rooms for questions, read all the requirements very well and be clear about it, if there is something you are not sure about ask questions, this is a very good forum with wealth of experienced people. In case your husband has been married before, make sure you proof to the eco beyond resonable doubt that the marriage was not a marriage of convenience and that your husband wasnt dating you while they he was married to his ex wife. "they tend to scrutinize divorce people becos i think they feel everyone does it because of papers", so you need to be ahead of them to proof that it is marriage based on pure love and the former was not just pre-planned and please organise all your document into different categories so that the eco doesnt miss anything. God will grant your favour. he will go before you and you will come back with songs of joy. Waiting for your testimony, cheers.

i will let you know if i remember anything else. i wish you all the very best. God will grant you favour

hi @eebeano49, thanks for your input, i didnt print my husband's passport pages showing the stamps from immigration because they were very faint, can i be refused because of that? bt i have his itinerary for the journey to naija and back, also i have original bank statements, payslips were signed by his employers, tenancy agreement solely his own flat . He doesn't send me money, because i have a good job in naija, so there really isn't any need for that. thanks again, please any other thing am leaving out?.

hello all, i have been following this thread, and am getting really scared because am about to apply for my spouse visa, i have ever intact reading the thread and seeing the silly reason why people are being refused na wa o. so please i need your advise. my husband and i met while we were in secondary school 1999, we started dating in 2010 online because he moved abroad for his higher education. i went for my masters in the UK in the 2011 and got back january 2013 to resume back to my job, we got married september this year. my husband is british and am abt to put in my application. i have emails from 2010 -2013, skype records covering that period, yahoo chats, we really dont talk on fone because it is more cost effective to use skype. we spent most of our weekends togeda in the uk, bt i dont really have proof for that, because we are always at home n i buy my national express ticket from d station i didnt keep the records, although we went on holiday togeda to dublin, i have itinaries for that and pictures, i also have pictures we took togeda in the Uk i put like 10 of those. bt i put all our chat records while we were nt spending time togeda in the Uk. because i dont knw ow else to proof weekends spent togeda while doing my masters
