Few months into Buhari's first administration, you started spreading nonsense about how you will make sure buhari doesn't get a second term. You continued this crying up till the day of recent presidential election. But as God will have it, Buhari is already some months into his second administration.

You have started another round of crying after going into hibernation following the outcome of the last election. Niggah, this is how you will remain in pain till 2023 because Buhari is the president and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. If you like, shout Buhari's name million time a day even on matters not related to him, he remains the president.

The funniest of all is that pmb doesn't even know if there is one pained soul crying daily on nairaland.

He's calling the president and VP but he kept silent on the person keeping his allowances for months.

I guess he thinks the presidency is too far from him to react and his direct oga can fire him.

I will believe it at all cost because I live around that area and also know what police can do when bn provoked. If he was among them does he deserve to be gun down? Reason bro
Because the report from a blog says so doesn't mean that is what happened.

Some provocation must have taken place.

Story. Show me a permit for Occupy Nigeria Protest against GEJ.

The right to protest is a human right arising out of a number of recognized human rights. While no human rights instrument or national constitution grants the absolute right to protest, such a right to protest may be a manifestation of the right to freedom of assembly, the right to freedom of association, and the right to freedom of speech. Additionally, protest and restrictions on protest have lasted as long as governments have.
Stop trying to justify illegality with illegality.

Like I said earlier, wasn't long for you to jettison the legal slant.

What does my conclusion have to do with it?
The hearing was one sided and the verdict was not a proof of crime. It is for the DSS to go and investigate. Which shows the DSS did not arrest Sowore because of a crime.

Stopping a lawful protest is criminal.

Finito.
Where is the permit Sowore got for such protest?

He said, although the hearing of the application was one-sided as provided by 27(1) of the Terrorism (Prevention) Amendment Act, the use of the word, “may”, in the provision “is directory” and not “discretionary”.

To carry out investigation. Not a proof of a crime. By the way it was a one sided hearing. Which stresses bias.
When it doesn't favour you it is called bias.

You are jailing a man based on assumptions? Sowore was arrested for calling for a Peaceful protest, which is an illegal arrest.
Are you aware a court granted a further 45 day detaining by the DSS?

Do not attack the man, tackle the message. What was posted is short and clear. Arresting Sowore was wrong and criminal.
It is not.

Had Sowore succeeded by now, we would have had another period of uncertainty and upheaval, reminiscent of 2015, just after Buhari took over.

No president would fall for that. Certainly not a second time.

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana also had much to say on the issue…”If revolution has become a criminal offence in Nigeria why were the leaders of the APC not charged for claiming to have carried out Nigeria’s democratic revolution which terminated the 16-year rule of the PDP in 2015?” He remarked that the Force had capitalized on the use of the word “revolution” to criminalize the protests.

I guess we know who the real criminal is flaunting court orders and giving directives against the constitution.

Finito.
Falana is Sowore's counsel.

He can say anything to win his case.

The agricultural minsitry should take better measures to help farmers. It's a gradual process of tightening imports while at the same time helping boost local production. You don't just close the door to imports and them hope dat local production improves.
You can import food as you like.

The only issue here is that CBN would not be subsidising your dollar purchase.

It's ur buhari dat know about governance abi. Welldone.
The CBN is meant to act independent.... u forgot to read that part abi. Besides, u don't ho banning stuff when the local production isn't really there ... or capable f meeting considerable amount of demand.
And when would you know that you are capable?

And who has banned imports?

They've simply said stop funding import of goods we can produce locally.

[s]Is it not the same President who arrested a man organising a Peaceful protest and has flaunted court orders repeatedly? Is that the kind of person who should give orders to the Central Bank?

Simple, the central bank is independent and the President should maintain his lan[/s]e.
Don't bring politics into this matter.

Sowore contested for presidency barely 5 months ago.

After losing, woefully at that, he's asking for a change of government via "revolution".

Not even Jonathan would take that, talk less of Trump.
