And the government is paying their rent at market value. Not anyhow house! Theses are good apartments rented directly from real landlords for these people by the government America is not your mate! Housing: If you mean subsidized housing for low-income people, it costs approximately 30% of the household’s income, whatever that income is or where it comes from. Most of it is designated for the elderly and disabled, and it has a 6 to 8 year waiting list in most parts of the US. |

I can say categorically that except you don't want to work, there is nobody who is working that can't afford some level for comfort in America. America, free health care? Free housing? Say you know nothing about a country. |

tctrills: President Ronald Reagan's Air Force One was eventually placed in his presidential museum. So where is corruption in this? Presidential museum is completely different from Trump’s library, which has not been built, by the way, and in total control by Trump. I know you would continue looking for a way to justify it. The more you do, you'll know it's corruption although, you'll try to argue it. |

ogascomax: To Trump everything is business. He sees everything as an opportunity to create prosperity for USA. He thanks about deals, deals and deals. Now he is seeing Russia as a trade opportunity. When you have such a leader your nation will prosper. But here in Nigeria everything to them is loot, loot and over loots. Killers of dreams is what we have here. Which prosper? Americans have never suffered as they are now, apart from the depression of the 1930s. |

tctrills: But he already stated that the gift with be in the presidential fleet and not his personal fleet hence making it a gift to the American people and not just Trump. so where did he go wrong? Please explain We can't keep going round in circles. The plan would be handed over to Trump's presidential library, which he owns and manages. By the way, 2 planes are already being built as replacement for Airforce 1. |

Denko2721987: Ok show us the ratings Oga.. As President Donald Trump approaches the 100th day of his second term, a Fox News survey finds voters pleased with the job he is doing on border security, but displeased on most other issues — including inflation. Trump receives his best marks on border security, as a 55% majority approves. That’s the only issue where his ratings are in positive territory. On immigration, a record high of 47% approve of Trump (48% disapprove), while a new low of 38% approve on the economy (56% disapprove). His worst ratings are on inflation (33% approve, 59% disapprove), followed by tariffs (33%-58%), foreign policy (40%-54%), taxes (38%-53%), and guns (41%-44%). https://www.foxnews.com/official-polls/fox-news-poll-first-100-days-president-trumps-second-term |

tctrills: Your understanding of US law is that Congress needs to debate before the president can accept a gift. Ok, here is a list of gifts accepted by Obama. there was no congress debate and no fake public outcry. Gifts from Saudi Arabia: These included elaborate and valuable items, such as gold-plated, jewel-encrusted horse sculptures. There were also gifts of jewelry, and other luxury items. There were also gifts of Cuban cigars, and dutch bicycles. Gifts from Cuba: From Raul Castro, President Obama and his family received Cuban cigars, rum, and a wooden bust of Abraham Lincoln. Gifts from Morocco: The King of Morocco presented the Obama family with ornate jewelry, including a gold-plated brooch with diamonds and rubies. Gifts from other nations: There were various other gifts, including artwork, sculptures, and other culturally significant items from different countries. Although the majority of gifts were handed over, employees can keep items if they pay the US government out of their own pocket an amount equal to the value of the present. |

QuinQ: That's called using the system. He understands tha system and knows how to use it, as opposed to career politicians who had never done anything except angling for votes Nothing wrong with being a career politician. A failed businessman does not an accomplished public officer make. By the way, Moody's just downgraded the US economy. A recession is imminent. Household costs are rising. The stock market is on the downswing yet again. Trump's popularity is tanking. Medical costs are rising. National Debt is increasing. Taxes are decreasing for the super rich. 8 trillion Dollars debt was what Trump added in his first term. Contrast that with Obama's debt of 8 trillion dollars over 8 years. |

RaySimran: Like NPR like ABC NEWS, they thrive on propaganda
Read THE GUARDIAN and BBC, there you'll get the true version of the story The planned gift of the 13-year-old, Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet, which Trump would inherit personally after he leaves the White House, has achieved the seemingly impossible: it has united the president’s most fervent fans with his most ardent opponents. Laura Loomer, the far-right Maga activist, warned that the proposed gift would put “such a stain on the administration”. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/may/13/trump-qatar-plane-maga-republicans
